   Dined on St. Patrick's Day and had the corned beef and cabbage. The beef was tender and tasty with just the right flavor, and the sides were excellent. My wife had the salmon and raved on it and the mushroom risoto.

   We love the Waunakee staff! We are regulars and everyone makes an effort to at least say hi in passing. Service is great, food was amazing as always! And cheesecake…..I mean what can I say but absolutely amazing!

    Food was exceptional as always. Service started out great. Drinks were delivered quickly and order was taken quickly as well. Someone other than our server brought out meals, which is fine but after that we never saw her again. We waited about 15 minutes after we were done eating for her. Finally tracked her down and got boxes for our leftovers and our bill. We will be back because we love the food but the service was definitely lacking.

    Quick and friendly service from Bree. All entrees were delicious: fish tacos, ribs and walleye. Even though it was Restaurant Week, our server was excellent and not harried.

    Using the opportunity of restaurant week to try new places. Service was friendly and permitting a small substitution on the order was much appreciated. Bottle of wine didn’t arrive until the appetizers were served…so tasting the wine resulted in less than hot appetizer (firecracker shrimp) getting even cooler. Short rib main course was fine…but far from spectacular. Gluten free chocolate cake had a cheesecake like texture and was very good. Nice wine list for this type of establishment. Eight years in the desert (2021).

    We went to enjoy restaurant week & celebrate a birthday. The service was great. Though the food was very good, I ordered the Braised Short ribs from the Restaurant Week special menu but received roast beef instead. I didn’t say anything to my husband or the server because I didn’t want my husband’s food to get cold because he would have waited for me to get a new plate.

    Six siblings meant for a birthday dinner and we all had different dishes but everyone was extremely happy with their food. I had just the crab cake appetizers which was three nice size cakes and the side salad was just what I needed. Our waiter Atticus was fabulous. We could not have been happier with the service and food. 👍😀

    The apps were good - we got a sampler platter and flower sprouts. But our table of 6 was underwhelmed with our food. The stuffed chicken was luke warm like it had been sitting under a warmer and the sides of Mac and cheese for $2 more weren’t really worth it. The risotto was good but I probably wouldn’t get it again.

    We go here many times but they were not on their game. My steak was cold, drinks didn’t come till after our meal was served. Felt very rushed. We’ll be back but maybe not on a weekend night.

    Really enjoyed our visit! Noise level is not bad. They have separated the tables well. Friday fish was good! Staff was really attentive! Our first time to this one in Waunakee.

    My only complaint about B&H is the noise level. It makes it difficult to have a conversation at the table. The food and service is always top notch.

    Ordered Prime Rib which comes with two sides. Asked waitress what are our choices. We ordered garlic potatoes and side salad. Prime Rib was very tough and hard to chew. Compared to other prime ribs served at other restaurants we would rate this prime rib the worst we have had. When the bill came we were charged for our salads. When we inquired or waitress told us she was not aware that they cost extra. Overall service was poor and will not be spending our money there again.

    Kind of overpriced for just a glorified bar and grill. Hard to see menu. Place was maybe 1/3-1/2 full but they tried to seat our table of 3 next to tables full of little kids. Asked for a different one and then tried to stick us right next to kitchen while better tables empty. This was WITH a reservation.

    My girlfriends and I gathered to celebrate Christmas. Atmosphere was pleasant and festive. (Love the tree in the dining room). Staff was receptive and pleasant. Food was delicious!!!

    Buck & Honey never disappoints. Even though we love the patio in Sun Prairie the cold weather will not stop us from visiting
