   I loved the experience, I went there to celebrate my wife birthday and their service was excellent. I loved the brownies, the ice cream and the Champagne they gifted to her.

   I had the Ahi Tuna Salad, it was VERY GOOD. My husband had the Jambalaya, it was excellent! We came from Iowa, met family from northern Wisconsin and chose restaurant randomly. We got lucky, it was a great choice.

   The waitress that we had was very unpleasant and slow, rude and not personable. She did not refill our drinks or even ask if we needed refills. Waited forever to get our drinks. We were ready to order with drinks and she couldn’t multi task and take drinks and food. She said drinks first then came back 20 mins later for our order. It was one of our first not so good times due to the ornary waitress.

    The staff and our server were exceptional, thoughtful and generous. We were celebrating two birthdays and our sever treated both celebrants to a delicious birthday brownie with ice cream. The meal itself was also delicious, served at the perfect temperature and generously portioned. Buck & Honeys is a rockstar among restaurants in Dane County.

    Subpar and overpriced steak/seafood. Wait staff was slow to take order and bring bill, but food came out fairly quick. Filet was tough and difficult to cut and had little seasoning/flavor. Crab cakes were very small and dry.

    Went for Valentine’s Day and the special menu along with everything else was phenomenal. Our server was excellent, engaging, friendly, one of the best. The food was off the charts. I had the “land and sea” Filet and salmon and it was what I told my wife, the perfect meal. She had the sea bass which was also excellent and our daughter had a cheese pizza that she loved. By far the best meal I’ve had since moving to Sun Prairie.

    Everything was great except the filet with mushrooms and kale my dad and I both ordered. It was inedible because of the salt level. I think they use the french onion soup beef broth for the dish. It was craaaazy salty. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said there had been complaints before. She offered to get us something else but my family is super low key about making waves so we didn't. The filet itself was nice. Music was nice from the side room we were in.

    Live entertainment was a nice addition to our enjoyable dining experience on a Saturday evening. The dinner menu is quite expensive, but I'd suggest going for lunch when prices are a bit more moderate for some similar items.

    This restaurant has very deelish options, American food with certain ethnic twists. I visited this time with my mother. We decided to order a few apps and a couple entrees only with light cocktails to graze on. What a wonderful experience!! Our waitress was tactful, the manager was very aware of my very new food allergies and made me feel very comfortable eating whatever was in front of me. I felt safe because of her; she had a binder of all the specifics of each menu options and that really helped my mind settle. More restaurants should do this! We loved our entire experience!

    New Year’s dinner at 6:45 pm. We were seated in an area to the right after entering door, past booth seating. We liked the area as it was roomy, tables not too close. Our waitress was outstanding. She didn’t miss a beat. She was very personable. It showed that she was a seasoned, experienced waitress. Our drinks and food arrived quickly considering how busy it was. I had the asparagus as a side which was woody. First old fashion was light on booze but second was good. We had a lovely evening with food and service great.
