Buccini injects the buzz of Rome's street-side restaurants into the tropical warmth of Port Douglas. The best fresh regional produce is used to create familiar and exotic Italian specialities, complemented by moderately priced Italian and southern hemisphere wines. Meals are served with style and zest well suited to Port Douglas's holiday setting. Formerly known and loved as Bucci, this restaurant is the brainchild of Michelin starred chef Spencer Patrick and was conceived in 2009. Buccini shares the same owners, managers and philosophy as Bucci. Along with his wife Reina and business partners Mike and Di Lisle-Williams, Spencer runs Buccini and Harrisons Restaurant in Port Douglas as exec chef/owner. His talented and dedicated team include Ben Bamford who has been a prominent and influential presence behind the stoves for three years now.

It wasn't open Clearly hadn't been open since Anzac Day as they had signs up I rang and there was no answer but a message they were re opening April 27th We went on April 29th the first night of our honeymoon and it was closed They could of rung up and told us......strange I've never been here to eat and was looking forward to it.

Had a lovely Dinner while on holidays in Port Douglas. Our daughter recommended the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The menue was great and the service was excellent. We would return to the restaurant again if we are ever in Port Douglas

Booked here for New Year's Eve was told the menu and how to book with a deposit this was where it went pear shaped....had to pay in full menu changed without notice when we arrived they were running late out table didn't get set for almost an hour was terrible service and the food was mediocre at best very disappointed with the restaurant and will not be returning

It appeared as if the restaurant was not prepared for a New Year's Eve dinner and so the food was late in coming out not leaving us enough time to enjoy it or to have desert. No reasons were given or apologies offered. The food was of a decent standard but the service really let the place down.

The staff here were very accommodating. Our group of 10 had a lovely time. Great ambience and awesome food. We all enjoyed our meals and the evening.
