We had a large group (28) in town for a tournament. Beth was wonderful securing us a private room and Jessie as our only server did an amazing job taking care of us. The food was delicious too. Thank you for such a memorable time for our team.

Been awhile since dining at Buca, and it seemed like food was better tasting on past visits. Salads were great but chicken parmigiana was just okay and the spaghetti and meatballs wasn’t very good. Sorry for the mediocre rating, but they can do better I’m sure. Very nice waitress gave good service.

Server was not very attentive or friendly, food was kind of cold, the bruschetta sat so long in the back that the bread was soggy once it arrived to our table. Nearly no sauce on our pasta and then it was $4 to order more. Figured if we’re paying $30 for pasta that it would have more sauce than a thin layer on top. Calamari was very tough and hard to chew. Chicken parm was good. Everything else was subpar.

The food and service were good. Food is served family style as opposed to an individual plate. For a small group, this can make food selection more difficult. Family-style portions will serve three people, and run about $32.

Overall it was good, but it was very disappointing to find out they took the mixed seafood entrée (frutti de marre) off the menu, which was basically the best thing they had. So until that comes back I won’t be back. I hope to hear it comes back.

Overall not the best experience. I made a reservation for 10 a week ahead came in 10 minutes early unfortunately in the mist of a shift change waited because they said they were getting the table ready...30 minutes later I asked if it was ready they said oh we thought someone told you granted it was only me and part if my party in the lobby waiting.

After waiting over an hour all of our food came out cold and it was nasty. Calamari was oily and soggy. And the absolute worst spaghetti I have never had in my life.

We made reservations 30 days ahead for our 12:15 reservation. We were seated immediately but it was 1:58 before we received our food. We asked for a manager finally and he came and said i apologize but we are swamped with to go orders. Trying to fix it. Did credit some of the check. It was a mothers day dinner and we left more than disappointed. Will not go back and we had been anxiously awaiting to have dinner at Buca. I know things happen but it was not handled in a professional manner . The server was nice but appeared there was nothing she could do to get the food or drinks out to us. Had to wait on the kitchen.

We had the BEST experience celebrating our daughter"s college graduation at Bucca. To making reservations online... to checking in... to the service... to the food there was absolutely no complaints! Everyone that worked there that we encountered was very helpful and friendly. Our server, Jessie, went above and beyond in taking care of us. Despite having 2 large tables of people to attend to he was calm and in control. He didn't miss a beat when it came time to refills and requests. He took time to talk to our graduate about graduation and he generally made us feel like he wanted to be there and we were truly guests. I witnessed him having this same interaction with the other table all the while still being timely with all of our needs. I just can't say enough good things about his service. This kind of service is not the norm these days and was surly appreciated!! Thank you Jessie and the entire Bucca family!

We had reservations and specifically said we needed a highchair for our 18mo old. We got there and they immediately said they had us at a table that couldn’t accommodate a highchair. The booster seat doesn’t allow you to strap a child in. Not a big deal if it were just our 4yo, but not a sufficient setup for our 18mo old. We immediately put the kids food order in so they could start then when we brought our drinks we ordered the rest of our meals. An hr and 40mins after we sat we still didn’t have our food, it was 8pm and our kids were beyond their capacity to sit and wait any longer. A manager had to get involved to move our ticket up so it could immediately be bagged to take home. We drove in an hour from dayton for this special family outing. $150 later we had our meals to go, over tired and stimulated children, we never got to eat as a family, food was cold by the time we got home and could sit and eat after getting kids in bed… and we were of course charged full price for everything that we didn’t get to eat as a family. I don’t blame our server. We had the kitchen table and we could see her trying to advocate for our meals and the manager in the kitchen was dismissive of the situation despite being able to see us behind her and hear our small children losing patience (again… almost 2hrs….). It was a major disappointment. No offer to provide anything in the meantime to hold anyone over while we waited an unreasonable amount of time.

Everything was fantastic except we had reservations for 10 abs were squeezed into 2 tables for 4. It was pretty cramped and we're all average sized people. Had we been overly large it works have been very uncomfortable. We had a great experience otherwise.

We did not realize you could only buy PLATTERS of food, not individual plates. There were only 2 of us and it was WAY too much food and $126 (not including tip and NO alcohol!) The service was very mediocre. This restaurant might be better for a bigger group, not really right for a party of two. Food was okay, not bad but not excellent either.

Food was good & we enjoyed ourselves. We had to constantly ask for drink refills. And we were not really asked if we needed anything. We had to pile up our plates to make room on the table. When asked, our server was pleasant, but I don’t think she was experienced. Not sure why they gave her a table of 10! It was a frustrating experience.

Took 10 minutes since we were seated, to be asked for our drinks. Then rushed by the waiter when our order was taken, and only waited on an additional 2 times for the remainder of the meal. Food was relatively mid and seemingly flavorless and our table and was not properly cleaned and underneath was disgusting.

The food was awful. We ordered spaghetti, sent it back twice and had it taken off the bill. The “sauce” was water and meat. Our server was great and did a fantastic job!

I don't usually like to complain about the places I eat out at, but this was my birthday celebration and it turned out to be a bad decision to celebrate at this restaurant. We have eaten there a number of times in the past, but it has been a year since our last visit and they have really gone downhill. Nothing was fresh, the food was not made the way it was on previous visits, and there was zero flavor. The Price has increased but the quality has gone way down, what a shame~!~! My family was very disappointed and we won't go back and we have eaten there 20-25 times over the years.

We waited an hour for our food. We had a group of 8, and we did 3 separate checks. My daughter, her husband, my son and future daughter in law. Got their salad, appetizer, and there entree, we hadn't received any of our food. They were finished eating before our food arrived. When my husband said if it's not ready in 15 minutes just cancel our order. What do you know it came out fast. We were only credited our appetizer. It was my husband and step children's first time going there to eat. Let's just say we won't be going back due to poor service.

Overall, a very good dinner. Our server was very friendly. The food was delicious (chopped salad and shrimp fra diavolo) with the exception of my daughter’s pizza being burnt. It was promptly removed from our bill. I do want to mention my menu was filthy, though.

We were seated immediately. We waited 12 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. It was 5:30 on a Friday night. Pretty quiet. We ordered appetizers and dinner. Our apps came out 15 minusfter we ordered and we waited one hour and a half before we finally told the manager we had to leave even though our food never came out. He said he would check on our food he never came back. We finally stood up and told out waitress we had to leave and we need to pay for our sodas and salad. She said ok go talk to him. Meaning the manager again. We finally left after one hour and 35 minutes without ever receiving our dinner. Absolutely horrendous service.

Food was cold, fried items tasted of old grease, calamari was tough and rubbery, fried mozzarella was wet and soggy, spaghetti wasn't cooked through, manicotti was cold and shells were hard as a rock. The service was horrible, had to ask several times for water, and bread, which arrived cold and overdone. We were there before crowd started and people came in after us and left before. Our table was reserved and it wasn't set up with the normal settings, cheese, oils...AND most disturbing, everyone became sick, one before leaving and the rest on the way home, we had to pull over to get sick. We were there for a Birthday celebration and it was a very disappointing experience.
