I heard a lot of good things about Buca and thought I'd take my husband there for "date night". I made reservations online, when we arrived I gave them my name and we were immediately taken to our table. The service was great and the food was excellent! There are so many food choices and the portions sizes are large so we did not go home hungry and had plenty of leftovers! The themed rooms added to the already pleasant atmosphere and the waiter was happy to give us a little history lesson about the restaurant and it's themed dining rooms. We didn't have room for desert this trip, so we're taking our family there next week. I would say Buca is one of our favorite restaurants!!

My experience at the above mentioned restaurant was not a good one. First off, the food was very disappointing. The menu was very limited. There was no seafood at all. The Caesar salad was very bland. You could not taste the dressing at all. Second, the pasta was over cooked and had hardly any sauce. We had to ask for more. The Pepperoni pizza was so salty and greasy we could not eat it. We had to call the waiter over twice to fill our water glasses. He never checked to see if we needed anything. The meatballs were good. We have had better service and food in the past. This being Valentines Day, we expected better. At this point, I am not sure I would go back.

Service was well-timed and friendly. The portions were definitely enough to fill you up. The spicy chicken rigatoni was delicious, and the mussels were succulent. The meatballs and pizza were tasty as well. Wall decor made the restaurant feel like an museum. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

After many attempts to get the waitress to turn on the air conditioner we just gave up and had to deal with the extreme heat while eating our dinner. Thankfully the food tasted great or my husbands birthday dinner would have been ruined due to us being so uncomfortable.

We've had better service/experiences in the past, but this time it was a disappointment. We got there early right when it opened. Our waitress was just about non-existent, our food came late, and my Open Table reservation was canceled for "no show." Really? If you're not going to be 100% ready when you open for business, whether you have one customer or a hundred customers then you shouldn't be open for business when you say are going to be. I think we won't be going back for a while. Maggiano's here we come.

We were promptly seated. They took us to a cozy booth. However, they had previously seated a party of 20 right next to us which consisted of adult age down to children. They were extremely loud…at times yelling from one end of the table to the other. One loud woman's voice was annoyingly 'piercing'. Not once did they try to 'keep it down' or tell the children to be quiet. It totally ruined our meal. We couldn't wait to leave! I understand a big group can get noisy. Perhaps if they had made an effort to be quiet, it would have made a difference. We are new to Valencia. All our previous encounters with families dining out have always been positive. We were always impressed w/ how polite the children were & how attentive their parents were. Not so in this instance!!! We complained to two hosts on our way out. One said they had a party of 50 in their banquet room which necessitated putting the party of 20 in the smaller dining area. The other host apologized & said to come back another time. Sorry! We will NOT be going back to Buca di Beppo!

We had a group of 30. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our waiter Tony was very fun and personable and the wait staff was on top of everything. The orders were easy and everything came out fast. Our group had a great time! It was the best atmosphere and we didn't feel obnoxious to be loud. We always love eating here, but it's good to know they can deliver for a group that size. Thank you Buca!

Very impatient waitress, made rude faces, just overall was disappointed by the service. The food was delicious, but stopped me from coming back because of service. Even though I reserved a table still had to wait more than 20 minutes for the table. Even though my group was big and teenagers, I feel like we deserved the same respect since we were paying the same.

Waitress had two large tables. Manager didn't bother to get her help, therefore the service suffered. We had to constantly remind for drink refills, to go boxes, etc that is when she came around. My husband ordered spaghetti with 2 sausages and only got 1/2 sausage. Terrible service. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Loved sitting in the kitchen. It was an awesome experience being away from the rest of the crowd just to ourselves. The food is delicious. The portions are interesting but kind of get boring so it's better for 4-5 instead of just 2. Best to order a few things and taste all of them to experience there restaurant to the fullest.

I liked the ease of making the reservation on line and that I was contacted to confirm my reservation. The food and service was excellent. The only thing is the garlic bread needs more flavor. I like the attentiveness of the servers and the fact they worked as a team. The location was easy to find and the bar was relaxing and the bartender was attentive as well.

Thank goodness they added "small" Servings some time ago. A large salad (yum!) and small pasta fed four of us with leftovers. Very reasonable for the quantities.

This is an especially fun restaurant to go to for any reason at all. Normally we dine there in a large group and are fortunate to be seated in the Pope's Room. However, this time we were a smaller party and I requested the Kitchen Table through Open Table, and we got it! We were so excited to be seated in the kitchen; being able to experience all that goes beyond behind the scenes. We were part of everyone's tour too! The delicious food came up quickly and was piping hot! Such an enjoyable night.

This is really a great place to be. Wonderful, friendly environment, beautiful pictures - especially Italian cinematography from 60s (great period!!!). Food - the BEST in the area. For those who loves to eat -- I can't recommend better place. Very good service, looks like people who provide service - enjoy their work. Nice place for parties.

This is a fun and very silly place with kitsch wall decorations that recall New York's Little Italy in the 50's. The food is delicious New York style Italian food, the stuff I grew up on, and the prices are reasonable.
That's why our family goes there on special occasions. We're always treated well and never leave hungry (nor are we hungry for days after).

We took my mom to Buca to celebrate her 82nd birthday. We all had a great time. When we were brought to our table there was a big Happy Birthday sign on the table. The waitress and staff were great and very attentive the whole evening. We had a mixed green salad, Lasagna, Baked Zita and Chicken Carbonara, and the huge Brownie Sundae. The food was great and was served in a timely manner. Our drinks were constantly filled and we were asked a few different times if we were doing OK and if we needed anything. The owner/manager (?) saw to it that we were really taken care of and I really did appreciate that because I really wanted my mom to have a very special evening. I really recommend Buca for dinner and celebrating.

We went to Buca to celebrate my birthday. We asked for a specific server, but didn't get him. Instead we were placed in a section with a server who seemed annoyed we were there. She lightened up after a while but had a large party and seemed bothered she was getting sat. My 6 year old daughter mentioned to our server a couple of times it was my birthday. She was excited when she saw 2 other table get the candles and sung to. So when my birthday was ignored she was upset by that lack attention. I don't need the singing, but my daughter did. We will go elsewhere for celebrations.

Buca di Beppo is a wonderful place to visit. I enjoy going with my college aged daughter and with at least one other person. We order the smalls of something. If we were to order the small of a pasta dish and we only have two people in our party, then it is too much food. We usually use a coupon when we go and forgot to look for one before going. The prices are still great and corresponds to the portion sizes. The decorations on the wall are fascinating to look and sometimes gets a laugh out of someone. Italians are full of life and the restaurant does a good job at showing it. Touring the kitchen is a delight each time we visit. I don't know of any other restaurant that does this.

I usually get good service however this was the first time i wasn't completely happy. I came with a party of 10 for my daughters graduation we drove 45 mins to get their because its my daughters favorite restaurant. Our waiter was really slow when it came to attending to us.We had to go find him and ask for bread.I asked for lemon to go with my salad twice and he never brought it, so i took my husbands lemon from his ice tea. When are salad arrived to the table we had to send it back because their was a hair in it (gross). We just weren't very happy
with the experience when we got bread he didn't give us oil and vinegar so we had to wait for him to come back and it took him so long my party decided to eat the bread anyway.we got it later

It is a loud family style italian(isk) restaurant. The portions are large, the food is tasty and the wait staff is friendly. It is a great place for us since we have a four year old and two - two year olds. Trying to eat healthier is a bit of a challenge since most of the meals are heavy meals but the salads can modified to meet the healthier diets.

Wewe're at a party of 13, it cost us over $400 for dinner, and there was very little alcohol ordered. We thought that the large dishes would make it less expensive for a large party. The food was good and service even better. Even so, I would think twice about throwing another party there.

Monster portions, very good food. If you like thin crust pizza then get it, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner this isn't the place. It's laid back and noisy, which is how they intend it...a big family, big meal atmosphere.
