Was great with the family. Ordered to much food but all was very good
Only two things that were somewhat disappointing...the chicken marsala was way too sweet, it was not that sweet when I had it the last couple times I was there. Also, we ordered the lasagna and didn't get advised that there was none (at 1 in the afternoon in an Italian restaurant!), so my brother in law, who just wanted the lasagna, ordered mac and cheese instead. We were pretty much finished eating when it finally arrived (it was quite runny, but flavor was OK). This was a little disappointing, but overall we had a good experience. This was everyone else's first time there.
You need at least 3 people to eat as the portions are HUGE. The Brownie Sundae could feed 4 easily.
Waitress was very kind and accommodating to kids requests
Alias is wonderful
Always smiling and very accommodating
We had Christmas Eve reservations and the salad and bread were promptly delivered but the meal took forever. To the point we had to ask and the server apologized but had no real reason. Food was good but took way tooo long.
The food was fair. For what it costs to feed 5 people, there are far better options for Italian food.
Entire staff was fantastic, restaurant was clean, only complaint would be veal slightly overdone
The service was great and the food was good. Very clean and environment . We had a wonderful and friendly waitress
Waitress was great, but the food took FIREVER!! Kids meals came out at different times over a 30 minute period?? They were not busy at all, and the adults waited over an hour but never got our meals.. and we’d ordered spaghetti & meat balls!!
Not sure what was going on in the kitchen?? But after I told our waitress we had to leave the manager took care of us and got some of our food to go.
The food was so good! We didn’t expect family style but it just made it more fun and an experience. The restaurant is so cool on the inside! Lots of different rooms. Our server was very nice and stayed on top of things even though you could tell they were short staffed. We will definitely come back!
Good meal at a fair price. Good for big family events.
Never disappointment in the service, the quality of the food and the overall experience. Not my first time and it won't be my last. Thank you!
Maybe 5 tables in the resto. We have been to Buco x3. I forgot it was family style. We were in a hotel 2 nights away from home. It was just my wife and I. We ordered drinks and the waitress told us it was chicken parmigiana with no spaghetti. With Caesar salads. The bill would have been north of $70. We said we would leave after drinks.
The waitress said no we could order off the lunch menu complete with salads. Dinner and drinks for thirty bucks more doable. Buco needs to do single meals, I realize their offerings are built on “family style” but, the times are changing. With 6 cars in the parking lot they need to rethink their business model.
Busiest restaurant day of the year? Our server was calm and collected. Orders (drinks and food) were taken promptly and everything was served with a good pace. I never felt we were waiting too long for anything.
Only complaint is that we had to wait nearly 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated.
We will definitely return.
My first time having lunch there and it was really good!
Great food, service and experience. Had enough leftovers to have lunch the next day.
I used to love this place, but so disappointed at my last visit. Pasta was overcooked and noises had extra water left in them, made sauce ruby and very bland. Garlic bread had huge chunks of garlic, so much so it made the bread basically inedible. It's just so sad that a fun restaurant the whole family used to love is a thing of the past we went be returning to
Appetizers were great. Portions for huge. Sangria was nice. We had to send glasses back as they were dirty. But overall a good experience.
We had a nice family dinner at Buca. All of our food was hot, except for our spaghetti. Our server quickly resolved the issue and we enjoyed the evening.
We were seated quickly. Food was good. Took over an hour to get food!
The booth in which we were seated had food crusted on the back. I had to move close to the edge of the seat so that I didn't touch it with my back. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was literally a joke. It was 12 small button mushrooms with some mysterious white mixture on top. I can't believe I spent that much on an appetizer of poor quality. The drinks tasted watered down and they were served in warm glasses. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience and waste of money. I understand why it was the only place in town without a wait on a Saturday night.
Terrible! We arrived early because we where in the area, there where 2 people at the podium who where unfriendly. Told us we would be seated in a half hour is the best they could do. Which was fine. So I told her we would go to the bar and have a cocktail while we wait. She told us we couldn’t, the bar tender was to busy to serve us because he was waiting on that room plus the drinks. So we sat back down and waited, then a couple came in 15 min after us with no reservations, put their names in and went and sat at the bar. So we followed and again she told us we couldn’t go sit at the bar, but did anyway. The couple who arrived after us got seated before us and when we questioned it we where told we needed to wait 15 more min until our reservation time. Then we where sat at the table behind us in the bar area. I do have to say the bartender did a great job keeping us happy even though it was sweetest day and he was the only one scheduled in that room. I don’t think we will be returning to this location after this meal. We live in the area and go here on a regular basis, each time it gets worse. This was the last straw , the hostess it the first person to greet guests as they walk in, they should be friendly and want customers to spend money. Not rude and turning people away.
The air conditioning wasn't working, so it was very warm in the restaurant. The food quality was very poor. We got the quattro plate which contained 4 different pasta items and everything tasted exactly the same. The ricotta was bland and the mozzarella cheese covering the top of the dish looked like plastic. The brussel sprouts looked like a mess of burned sprout leaves on the plate. The Crown Royal was tainted with cinnamon whiskey.
The food was amazing. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back soon! The waitress forgot to bring out our bread until after her appetizer, but she was very friendly, definitely did not change my decision to return.
The food was terrible it taste like it came out of a cardboard box and prepared by a person with no cooking experience
Excellent food as always. Large portions suite to share.
Reservation for 630 and didn't sit until almost 745. Ordered as soon as we sat down because kids were losing their minds. Food took 45 minutes to arrive (including appetizers). The waitress was great but was overshadowed by the ridiculous wait for table and food. I got a reservation to avoid the wait. Very unhappy!
This was Mother's Day - so I know restaurants are very busy. However, this restaurant was not busy - not even 1/3 full. Waiters were standing aroung checking their phone istead of taking care of the few guests present. Took 2.5 hours for salad and lasagna.
Food was great! They Baked Ziti that serves 5 could feed 10. They did not honor the birthday note that I added to my Open Table reservation.
Great experience, as always! Our Easter dinner guests missed their train so we were on our own for the weekend and we were too small of a group to cook a big dinner. Thanks for making it a great day! Waitress was the best with bunny ears and all, full of energy and glad to be working at Buca. Food was excellent for sure! Just want to say thank you for helping to make it a good holiday for us!
The servers worked very hard and aim to please! There were only two of us and the restaurant is geared towards families and it is not private. You get involved with the families at the other tables.
Very relaxed time at the restaurant, food was wonderful, service was next to great but not outstanding.
My only complaint is when I made the reservation I requested an initmate table.
We were sat in a booth in the bar. There were numerous people in and out and beside a table of about 8 with little children junping around. The children were being kids but a different location would have made it a 5 star night.
To be fair, the eggplant parmesan and the pasta carbonara were good. But, the rosemary potatoes we ordered as a side were covered in a layer of sea salt making them inedible. When we told the waitress she claimed it was cheese. I tasted them in front of here and told here it was fore sure pure salt but she still acted like she didn't believe us. Then she took the charge for the potatoes off the bill but left the inedible potatoes on the table for the remainder of the meal. It was a very strange experience.
We had a situation with the food tool a little longer but the manger did solve the issue thank you
The portions are amazing and overwhelming but in a good way. The staff were very nice and pleasant. The music is also a plus!
Since we went on NYE there was a lot of excitement. The food is always amazing. My wife and I both have worked in the service industry so we can easily recognize good service. We generally have a fantastic experience here and NYE didn't disappoint!
