You never leave hungry. Even the small sizes are huge. The server was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The only disappointment was that they have removed veal parmigiana from the menu. Hopefully they will bring it back in the near future.
Unfortunately, I was ill and couldn't attend, but reports from everyone said there was a birthday party going on at a table right behind them and they were VERY loud. My party was not happy with being split up at two different tables. Nobody liked the sauce on the pasta. The meatballs were huge and had no sauce on them or in them and had an excess of raw garlic. They did say the eggplant parm was excellent and the chicken marsala was good. They loved the garlic bread.
Date night with the wife. Food is always solid. Service could of been better but they were busy tonight.
Great food for the style of the restaurant. Thought wine was overpriced for the type of venue and quality.
We told them it was a special occasion but they didn’t do anything special for it. Our dinner was served to the wrong table. We ordered dessert to go and the waitress waited to give us the bill until dessert arrived. If she’d taken our payment when we ordered dessert we could have left sooner. We like Buca but it will be a while before we go back.
Great ambiance. Great service. Great food.
Love the short rib orichette with marinara sauce
Buca is a FANTASTIC deal! Superbly crafted food in more than generous portions! After eating, we're always glad we've gone there.
Ready for us, chairs not very comfortable, serve was slow. Even bar drinks were slow. Food was great. Very think we ordered was very delicious.
Good food and service but worn out interior. Needs a refurbishment
Great food and service on Nee Years eve. Love the Caesar salad, eggplant parmigiana and build your own pasta with meatballs, meat sauce, veggies over linguini
Restaurant was somewhat chaotic. host/servers unorganized and maybe understaffed. No Moscato wine. Food was good and service was okay.
Waited over an hour for appetizers. Had told them it was a birthday but they failed to put it on the welcome board or acknowledge it. Food was fine but it’s not great.
My family and I have been to Buca many times but never to the Summerlin location. We decided to try it out since it was the closest one to our house. We wanted to dine out this year for our Christmas dinner together. The meal was great as always but the service was quite poor. We had to ask several times for bread and finally received it while half way through our dinner course and it was cold inside. Also once our salad course and dinner course was dropped off the server never checked back on us within the standard 2 minutes or 2 bites time frame. She was absent for the most of our time there and left drinks empty throughout our time there. Our meal was $161 and the total was $190 with tip.
Great time, food and service!!
Excellent dinner and service was great!
For a busy Christmas Day the service was excellent.
My wife and I make it a yearly tradition to go to Buca for Christmas Eve dinner if we are not out of town visiting family. We used to love the food but this time the Chicken parmigiana was really bad. Every other time I had gotten it, the plate was so hot I couldn't touch it, the breading on the outside was super crispy, the sauce was thick and flavorful and the cheese was melty. this time the plate was barely warm, the chicken was barely warm, the breading was soggy, soft and had no crunchyness, the sauce on top was watery and was barely just chunks of tomatoes. I explained this to my waitress and she was super helpful, brought out another plate. This time the plate was hot, the chicken was hot and the breading was a little more crispy but it was nowhere near as crispy as it used to be and the sauce on top was still liquidy, thin, with chunks of tomatoes. This was a huge disappointment as Chicken parmigiana at Buca was my favorite thing to get, it seems that the recipe has changed and this has changed my decision to eat at Buca anymore.
Not many food choices here. Mostly just large portions of basic Italian food. I ordered a pizza, which was not bad.
Tons of food. Oh my Lord! Great times at a good value.
Went to dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. We received a coupon for a birthday brownie sundae dessert and we were looking forward to it. When we showed the server our coupon, he told us the restaurant did not have any ice cream but they can give my husband a scoop of gelato. What kind of restaurant ran out of ice cream? Why can't they use gelato instead of ice cream for the dessert? Needless to say, we were very disappointed!
After being seated we were ignored. Several tables that were seated after us were served. We were obviously ready to order with our menus at the edge of the table and no food or drinks. Every staff member that entered the room looked at us and moved on.
Always a great experience at Buca. Food is great, service has always ben great, and portions are HUGE! Newest special to Feed 4 for $49 is a GREAT deal. Had 5 people, and added a couple extra small dishes, and ended up bringing food home.
Had a surprise birthday party for my wife & the food & service was outstanding
Good value for the money. Food was tasty and well prepared. Funky, eclectic interior!
Thanksgiving menu was very bland. We were completely rushed.
We like the Caesar salad, eggplant parmigiana and build your own pasta.
Ryan was great. Food is always good, one of my family favorite places to celebrate.
I made the reservation and stated it was for a birthday. At no time did the hostess or wait staff acknowledge we were there for a special occasion. I feel our waiter didn't give us adequate attention.
There were times we had to track him down for things. We've eaten at this location many times and I have
to say this was the first time I was disappointed in the food. My Prosciutto and cheese filled chicken lacked
flavor and the Prosciutto was non-existent. The appetizer was good, some kind of Italian cheese with sausage.
The most recent visit was to celebrate my nieces 16th birthday and Buca did not disappoint. I highly recommend celebrating your next special event. Atmosphere is loud but jovial and family oriented from the ambiance to the serving style.
Buca de Beppo is not somewhere you want to go every week... unless you absolutely live on Carbs. However, that being said, this place is absolutely amazing for a big, heavy, flavorful, over-the-top special event dinner. I just took my Mom & Dad, and Aunt & Uncle there. My dad and my aunt have birthdays just a few days apart, so it was a special birthday dinner for both of them. None of the 4 of them or my boyfriend had ever been there before so they were all absolutely shocked at the size of the portions. Everything there is meant to be shared, so order sparingly. IT WILL BE HUGE! And delicious! This is not a place that sacrifices Quality for Quantity. Even though the food orders are massive, everything was fresh and very tasty.
The restaurant is huge. However, and very odd for Vegas, the parking lot is TINY! I can't quite understand that.
The only down side... no matter where you are seated, expect that just after you get settled in with the menu and maybe a nice bottle of wine, inevitably some huge family is going to come marching in with 3 infants and 2 toddlers and they'll be seated RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. Because really, who can't enjoy a nice meal without the piercing shriek of an an infant every 2 minutes? It's also nice when someone's 4 year old runs past your table a few times during your meal... Maybe with a restaurant so big, they could have a "Kids" and "No Kids" section?
The servers are very patient and energetic.
Service was a little slow
Had a wonderful time. We were celebrating my wife, my sister-in-las, bother-in-law, and mine birthdays. We were seated at the kitchen table. We first thought it was going to loud and annoying but it was fun. Interacted with the staff the entire night. Felt like we were celebrity guests on Hell’s Kitchen except our food was to perfection and served all at the same time.
Server was nice but forgot an order, drinks very slow in coming, food not tasty.
Just a fun, reasonably priced place to go to...especially with a larger group. The food is tasty and plentiful. We had wonderful service as well. You walk away with a big smile on your face after having been there, because it's got a lively vibe to it.
The portions are large and family style to share. Just about everything is good! Service is friendly as well!
We were seated promptly with our reservation and the food was plentiful and good. One problem being there was an annoying clattering of dishes (by staff) nearby our table which annoyed several in our party. We dine at Buca often and it is always fun and food is always reliably good.
