Good spot for a casual party. My favorites are the antipasto salad, ravioli and cannolis - make sure you ask for lots of chocolate sauce for it. Sometimes the chicken dishes can be dry and tough, same goes for the meatballs, and service can be neglectful but most of the time food is very good and the service always has a great attitude about anything you might be in need of.

I booked a table of 20 for my husband’s birthday on Easter Sunday. Buca called to confirm and was overly accommodating to changes. The hostess was friendly and helpful, and our waitress was just incredible. Overall, it was an amazing experience! Thank you Buca for creating a wonderful experience for my family!

Excellent value and a really cool vibe

The food was excellent, very tasty. Really like the casual and quirky ambiance. Wait staff was very attentive and personable.

We went early. Started to get noisy when we left.

Have eaten at Buca many times before. It seems each time it’s a little worse. Service was adequate but the food was below par. The chicken carbonara was more like paste than sauce. The only thing that you can count on is the portion size, Hugh as usual but also proportionally over priced. I doubt we will return but then again I won’t be surprised if their days are numbered.

Great for groups and families. Fun atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Portions are large...you get your money's worth! Our meal was tasty and satisfying. Not the best Italian I've ever had, and not for foodies, but if you are looking for good quality basic Italian, this will fit the bill. Buca is about the whole experience.

We were so disappointed with our overall experience, but particularly the service. We were seated a 1/2 hr after our 7pm reservation (at 7:30pm) and we not served our entrees until almost 9pm (after we asked to see a manager). We've visited many Buca Di Bepo's and have never had such a bad experience. Won't go back to Scottsdale venue.

The choices on the menu are for either 3 or 5 people. Food is served family style. You can pretty much guarantee a doggy-bag to go. Our two choices were delicious and, yes, we had a doggy bag for the three of us as we ordered two entrees. Both very tasty. I did prefer the chicken dish over the spaghetti and meatballs(not so happy with the meatballs).
The ironic thing is that Buca clearly advertises that they have an exceptionally clean bathrooms. The ladies room was not dirty, but for sure not a bathroom I would advertise as "above board"It is a fun place to dine once in awhile.
Come hungry.

Sat at the bar. Bartender stated it was his first day and he only had 1 hour of training. Very disorganized. Other staff members had to go behind the bar to assist. It was chaos.

Restaurant did not have two of the entrees on the menu at 7:30 p.m. - this was unsatisfsctory,

waited almost a half hour for drinks and then waited 2 hours for food and it was cold when it came

We got one of the specials, Shrimp Scampi. It was 95% spaghetti with small shrimp, and had no capers, artichokes, nothing else except parsley. Luckily, we ordered a side of sausage and peppers, and I had asked for a side of red sauce~which helped. Anyway, the server was working a whole room with two tables of 8+ and several booths. He did his best, but service was slow from the bar and kitchen. It took too long to get a drink and we were not served dinner for an hour after we got there.

Bread was not warm, only could eat the top, the bottom was rock hard. Ordered the chicken parmigiana, little did I know all it was was chicken cheese and sauce no pasta was served with this dish very disappointing. I can see why this place is going downhill not very busy

I would never come here again! When pasta comes to your table it should be steaming hot especially when the place is not busy and you only have two tables to serve outside. Host was extremely rude I would never ever dine here again. I have fined at many bucas throughout the world never experienced one like this one !

Server Chelsea was amazing and customer service was awesome!

I enjoyed a large bowl of piping hot Minestrone Soup, which was terrific on a chilly night. My server Allison was fantastic!

I just came in for a bowl of soup, in which I chose the Tomato Basil, that I enjoyed. It was very hot in temperature, which is just how a bowl of soup should be served. Thank you kitchen! My server Allison, was very friendly and terrific.

Amazing service from our server and the food was yummy and plentiful. My boyfriend is a very picky eater but enjoyed all of the items ordered! Will visit again soon!

The food was just as good as ever but there was only one waiter so it took a long time to order and even longer to get our food.

The food was great! The drinks, specifically the Martini, was half-full and yet they still charged $13 each. It was a real disappointment to an otherwise excellent meal. So for two martini's each, my wife and I spent $52, which seems excessive. Also the restaurant was out of Belvedere and Grey Goose citing "a busy week". Someone needs to monitor the par levels better, because this should never happen.

We had reservation but weren't actually seated until almost 30 minutes later. Restaurant was very crowded with others waiting to be seated. Our food service was great. Waiter was prompt to greet us and was very super friendly and efficient! Food was very good even though we didn't get what we originally intended because restaurant was out of mozzarella, meatballs, marinara, and other items. We understood since it was at the end of a very busy day. The waiter and other staff made it a positive experience!

Our family is Italian. This is not Italian food. It's okay tasting, but the food is not what it states it will be from the menu. The "baked ziti" was clearly not baked and barely had any mozzarella and needed more sauce. The chicken marsala had a strange, very sweet sauce on it, almost like an asian-inspired sauce. The caesar salad was meh - not very flavorful. Dessert was actually not good - tiramisu had NO espresso or liquor within it, and cannolis had Hershey's syrup on top. Service was slow and it took almost an hour to get our food. Sorry, this will be my last time at Buca.

There was a bit of a wait, even with a reservation, but the food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. We enjoyed visiting for a family dinner on my daughter's birthday.

The food and drinks were good but the service was lacking. Our server took a while to come check on us periodically. But we had had a roudy crowd and they were accommodating.

Although we bad a reservation the restaurant was packed and we had to wait one half an hour for a table. Service was slow to they had to comp us bread to make up for the delays. Food was OK but nothing special or worth coming back for.
Really wasn't great value for the money. Better Italian restaurants around.

My family and I had turkey dinner here on Thanksgiving. The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambiance is very family oriented. Had a great experience.

We went for thanksgiving dinner.. The food was lukewarm and they did replace it with food that was a little warmer, but not really hot enough, although at that point, w didn't complain further. To add insult to injury, the ceiling started leaking heavily onto my husband's hand and power wheelchair control. When we tried to move the wheelchair, it wouldn't move at first and we thought maybe it had shorted out do to the water. This happened just as they were delivering our replacement order. My husband is disabled and very easily upset. He told the waitress he would never come back and she apologized , as did the manager who was delivering our food, but we were not offered any discount or comp, which we could hardly believe. What terrible customer service.

We went on Thanksgiving and we had not been in a while as we don't live near one anymore. The kids items were 7.99 EACH - that's so 15 years ago! - and the food was just ok - the antipasta salad was very good, but it was very busy with holiday traffice, the water tasted like it was straight from the sewer, it was hot as hell, it was very expensive which was surprising and it was my husbands 40th birthday and our 15 year anniversary on the same day...and there was no mention of anything - it took FOREVER to get help most of the time - which we just wanted silverware or water and the waitress was indeed slammed - very nice, but it seems you would want to give her/everyone more help on a holiday - my kids thought it was cool - too bad we won't be back whether we live far or near. Get a grip BDP.

Great thanksgiving day here is Scottsdale. Service was a little slow due to holiday crowd.

We had friends in town from Canada. We were looking for a place to have fun, eat good food, drink wine and laugh out loud! The evening was great! First time we had been back to Bucca in several years. Not sure why we waited so long, but we will definitely be going back!

This is a great place for large groups. We were 12 people and we had a great time.

It was a great night out for My Wife and I anniversary dinner. Everything was really good with the best service. Open table helped out with the reservation for 2 and was ready in 20 minutes. Thank you and we will be returning soon.
