Bucca di Beppo made our Valentines Day a great experience! Especially with the photographer who took our special day photo . Food and service was great
Not sure why we still go here. It's so run down. The staff is rude and lazy. Food is ehhh.
This visit my family felt neglected. Service was poor. I had always wanted to give this restaurant another chance. I am not sure I will be back for a very long time. The food seems to be pricy. They often run out of minnestone soup. I don’t understand an Italian restaurant not having minestrone soup.
Had an Opentable reservation and arrived on time, but still had to wait 10 minutes even though there were several open tables. Waiter was not very attentive and once asked, “Is everything okay?” as he walked past us without even waiting for a reply as he continued to walk.
It's BUCA, decent food, nothing special at this location of the chain. A bit disorganized from the hostess, but our host was great. When looking for solid food at a decent price for every day dining, BUCA is the place.
Service, a bit slow. Maybe cuz we were a larger group? Would like to see more gluten free items, like pasta especially, pizza? Or whole grain/wheat pasta.
Overall everything was decent. Thank you.
Full family dinner. Had to ask to get a server after sitting and not being even acknowledged for over 20 minutes I had to walk to the hostess as the manager was nowhere to be found and ask for a server. Another 15 minutes later we finally got a server. No manager ever came and apologized or anything. This is the 3rd time in a row this has happened and the restaurant wasn’t that busy this time.
Wow. The whole experience has gone down hill here. Terrible experience. Food was awful. What has happened to this place?!
Not an excellent place for service. We dined at 3:30 with 14 people, no one in the restaurant. Ordered appetizers first, received it after the salad was served. The kitchen was backed up, yet there was no one in the restaurant. If u are looking for reasonable service this is not the place to go.
Everyone enjoyed the meal. The pepperoni pizza was amazing. The only downside was that the cuisine was on the oily side. It wasn't as busy as we expected. The service was a bit slow, but since it was so busy, it's understandable.
Our meal came out to us over a span of 45 minutes! Absolutely ridiculous. No reason I get my pasta 45 minutes before my wife gets her chicken. Maybe for take out but not dine in
We went there on christmas night and everything was solid.
We had reservations but we had to wait an extra 25 minutes before we were seated. What is the point of the reservation. This restaurant was very disorganized, all waiters, waitresses, managers running around as if they didn't know what they were doing. After we were finally seated, we then sat at a table with no silverware or set ups. We then waited another 25 minutes before we were approached for our order. The waitress that finally noticed us was not the waitperson who was assigned to our table. That person never bothered to ask us for our order. The waitress who finally came to our rescue was the one bright star . Even so, the food was horrible -- Veal marsala with wine reduction was awful!!! Sauce was nasty and tasted like syrup.
Veal was overcooked. They brought the appetizer with the dinner.... We couldn't get ice tea because their machine was broken.... They initially brought us someone else's veal parmigiana.
Overall the worst dinig experience we have ever had anywhere!!! Very disappointing.
This was the worst service I have ever received. Made a reservation and got sat an hour after our reservation, the manager herself had to bus the table and after we had been put on the back burner we were sat at the bar table. It was my gfs birthday and she couldn’t have had a worse time. Please think twice before going here. Pruneyard Bucca is WAYYY better.
Food was awful. Service mediocre. There was a large Christmas party in the restaurant that was loud and obnoxious. They should have been placed in a separate/private area to not disturb other patrons.
We normally have a good experience at this location. This time they insisted on charging us $17 extra for adding meat (ie. Meatballs) to their create your own pasta meal even though the menu says that meat options in addition to pasta, sauce, veggies are part of the create your own pasta meal. It was a bit disappointing to see this more as a surprise than anything else. If it was disclosed up front on the menu I would have been fine with this.
Probably the worst service I have had lately at any restaurant.
We even had to bus our own dirty dishes off the table so when they brought the birthday fun there would be a place to set it.
Food was cold and not serviced complete.
Made a complaint to the manager about the staff being loud using bad language before leaving our table after the birthday song. The server confessed and apologized but kind got the impression it was maybe not the first time she had done something similar.
I won't be hurrying back there that is for sure.
Always have fun and leave this place stuffed. No way around it. Tables are kind of small for a party of 8 but otherwise food and service was great.
We love having Thanksgiving dinner at Buca and it’s conveniently located in the mall, so we’re able to shop immediately following the meal.
The worst Thanksgiving food ever! Over-salted, tasteless turkey; horrible stuffing; wilted lettuce in the salad; even the pumpkin pie was strangely spiced. Just an awful meal.
Family Birthday gathering - had a lovely time! Waiter was pleasant & friendly but seemed flustered at times. Was fine at first, but was slow in responding to requests for more water, food boxes, & check as the restaurant became more busy. Food was delicious & plentiful. Really good red sangria too!
Service was he worst we have ever had. The very sweet assistant manager did her best to make up fo the poor service. Unfortunately, waiting for our reservation for 20 minutes to be seated, waiting additional 40 minutes to receive our drinks, and having to ask repeatedly for napkins, water/drinks, bread, silverware, plates, etc.... it did not quite make up for the delicious food. The servers were all kind and helpful, but it was clear that we did not have an assigned server to our table if 7. I don’t think we will ever be back. Poorly managed restaurant.
Food was cold when it came out. Sent it back 30 minutes later we speak to the manager no apologies and finally we get the pasta dish back. Now the other side dishes are cold on the table. Those are not replaced. Then the bill gets screwed up and our credit card is charged twice. No discount or apology for any of the problems we had. No silverware at our table. When we booked this we said it was for a birthday and birthday was never acknowledged. Beyond disappointed. A 2 1/2 hour horrible meal.
It was wonderful. We were seated quickly, our waiter was really pleasant and checked on us quiet often.
We had a great time , great dinner , the only problem we've had the last 2 Visits at this restaurant is we order a bottle of wine and we've gotten pitchers instead, we are very uncomfortable with that because we pay full price for a particular bottle and we have no idea if what we pay for is the bottle we ordered . We have questioned them and they always say the wine we ordered comes in a barrel but we've tested them and ordered different bottles , and still they bring pitchers. Otherwise our dinner and service was great!
Not enough waiters.
Great server!!! He was prime!
Food - big servings. We ordered way too much food so lunch the following day was also nummy. As always, fun decor - especially for those who have never been.
Food was what I generally expect from BdB, and consistent with other locations. Our server was friendly and quick, but the star of our evening was a server named Ta. I had a few questions about the wine list, as the wine I planned to order was not available that eve. Our server said she didn't know wine very well, so I went to the bartender hoping he could provide some recommendations. He did not know the wines either, but Ta heard my question and took the time to describe a few wines to me, and letting me taste a couple so I could decide. He even upsold me to a mini-carafe. I hope management values him because he was great!
