I found a hair in our fetuccini.
Loved our experience here! I made reservations for a party of 16 for a Saturday at 1:15pm, to celebrate my son's 6th birthday. When we arrived, we arrived right at our reservation time, we were seated within two minutes. We ordered 3 large pastas and 2 large pizzas for 10 adults and 6 kids, everything came out within 15-20 mins and everything was so delicious! The amount of food was more than we expected, we had plenty of left overs, we could probably do 2 pastas instead of the 3 next time, but I didn't mind the extra food cause I wanted to eat more of it later. The waiter was amazing, he was very attentive and friendly, wish that I could remember his name. Overall, I would come here again, great service, great food, great prices, and great for families.
Chopped Antipasto Salad was the best ever ! Other favorites are Fried Calamari Appetizer and Chicken Marsala ! Sign up for their eClub to get special offers and incentives.
Very receptive and caring staff
We were seated in semi-outdoor area that was very cold. Asked if heater could be turned on and was told, “No one else is asking for it.” We were reseated after a short wait and I noticed the heaters in the area we vacated we then all on.
New menu items, higher prices, food was good...
Slow, ok plan dishes. Will not go back.
Even though we had reservations we still had to wait for our special table. The noise level was very noisy with a lot of celebrations.
We've had better food at Buca and some of the items lacked flavor.
Took an hour and half to get food and it came out staggered. One dish, 15 minutes, another. Finally left. Thankfully they didn't charge us.
They were behind on there reservations and could not seat us for an hour. We left.
Food was uncooked and horrible every dish. We waited too long for cold undercooked food.
I enjoy the Family size servings and lively atmosphere. Only complaint is that this restaurant is very very loud. It's okay if your are expecting it but if your not it could really make an uncomfortable meal for some people.
Great food. Excellent service. Always feel welcome by the staff.
We always love Buca!!
Slowest dining ever. 30+ min between order and drinks and appetizers. Another 60 minutes until entrees. Never again.
We hoped to have an amazing Thanksgiving dinner, but that did not happen. It started with our cheese bread appetizer showing up after our first entree. Then, our order came out wrong, and then our waiter disappeared. We had to call over the manager after 20 minutes to take it back. Then it was another 20 minutes and we had finished our meal when we had to grab someone else’s waiter to get our check and cancel the order they screwed up but never brought back. Worst service ever. Ruined our Thanksgiving dinner.
This comes off like a chain restaurant and is very, very noisy. The food is much like Olive Garden but much more expensive. There were constant explosions of some version of "Happy Birthday," (there must have been at least 6 birthdays while we were there on a Sunday evening) with all the wait staff singing and clapping. This is not fine Italian dining.
Reasonably priced family style dining. We had the chicken and sausage ziti and the chopped antipasti salad . The small size was perfect for three people. The three of us couldn't even finish our shared piece of tiramisu ! It was enormous and delicious.
This place has awesome food with very large portions of it! It is great for family or group gatherings. So... much food!:)
They ran out of meatballs at 6:30pm on a Sunday.
Everything was good except the dish that we ordered had one third of the mussels close so we couldn't eat them. They should not have served unopened mussels. One or two maybe Ok but there must have been about ten.
The service on this visit was lousy, but it is usually ok. Food is solid...large portions served family style.
Especially love this place for their Take Out service: They are so thoughtful to pack cold foods completely separate from hot food, to make sure everything is well sealed and leak-proof, and have it all ready to carry out when promised.
They give generous portions, add separate container for extra sauce if you request that ( at no charge ) and make everything look pretty as a picture ! They even add a bag of fresh, warm from the oven Italian Bread so you might as well forget that dieting you planned for today !
Some of our favorite menu choices have been:
Chicken Marsala: Tender Chicken Breast with thick sliced Mushrooms in a sweet wine reduction sauce reminiscent of teriyaki sauce - really addictive flavor here !
Italian Meatballs in Marinara Sauce: Tender and flavorful, half-pounders in a naturally sweet fresh tomato sauce which I'm guessing is made with onions, garlic and basil. A side order of 3 of these big boys is $16.99. Slice into thick slabs and place on their fresh Italian Bread for instant Meatball Sandwich enjoyment.
Italian Chopped Antipasto Salad: I like to get the Hot Peppers on the side. A beautiful bounty of Italian Genoa Style Salami, Sharp Cheese, Black and Green Olives, Radicchio, Tomatoes, a touch of Red Onion, and very fresh and crisp Iceberg Lettuce served with a distinctive Vinaigrette Dressing ( If you are carrying out, get the dressing on the side and things will stay fresh and crisp. )
Fried Calamari: Light and Crisp, good with just a dash of salt, sprinkled with Parmesan Cheese, or with either their regular or Spicy Marinara Sauce. Try both sauces or combine them for medium spiciness.
Excellent food! Very slow service. We waited 25 minutes before we received bread or our drink order (which was one glass of sangria). And they serve family-style, which is great, but which also means that I was out of luck for a small side salad to accompany my main dish.
This was not our first time -- we used to go at least twice a month -- couldn't remember why we stopped going so we went Sunday night. Made a reservation and requested the bar area, since we were just a party of 2. Didn't take long to remember why we stopped going so often -- loud and salty.
We know it is a family restaurant and expect noise but, parents not controlling their screaming 4, 6 & 7 year olds was completely unbelievable. The 4 year old's piercing scream and stomping on her seat literally shook my booth seat 2 behind her. The salad was overly salty -- and it used to be a favorite. 1 small salad no beverages, loss of hearing and slow to bring our plates and water, made for an unpleasant dinner experience all for $25 + tip...it will be a while before we return, if we return. Do they really need to seat kids in the bar?
Nice servers. Tons of food. Although the price is a bit high, there is a lot of it. I am still eating it at home. Reheats very well!
This is great for large families like ours. Kid-friendly!
It was good food but it wasn't amazing! Little bit pricey
Service was excellent! Cindy was our waitress and she was very attentive, and paid special attention to each person in our party. We will definitely be back!
With a large party, service can be slow getting started. But once past that, it gets better.
Went to the restaurant for Mother's day with the family. Great service, the Pear Lemon-Aid was awesome, I had never had Pear lemon-aid. I didn't like that in-order to park close you have to go with valet but free parking was not to far off. Overall it was a great experience.
The place was super squished and the service sucked
Also it was way over priced
Great service and delicious food! Also, it was nice being seared a little before my reservation (we were early). Plus the hostess seated us in the back bar area which offered roomy booths (and it was quieter) which was ideal for my elderly grandmother. Lastly, the photo gal was a nice touch so in all, it was a great visit.
We enjoyed our Mother's Day Brunch, the food was delicious and everyone in our party had a great time!!!
Great place with even better food. Had a really good time there...
Lots of empty tables but we were seated in a corner next to a table for a horrible screaming baby and near a loud party of 20. I asked if we could move and never got an answer. Horrible meal. Could not carry on any conversation with my guest. For headache from screaming baby (worst screaming baby I've ever seen encountered).
I have no problem with parents bringing children but pleaae don't force guests to have their meals ruined.
I'd this happened again in would just leave.
Very friendly staff but the service was getting slower. Food was good for larger group of people to share. Interior was quirky and funny.
The valet guys were nice and we were seated very quickly, the lady taking photos was very nice to us too. Our waiter was nice enough, but it took way too long to have our drink order taken. Wait staff was passing us by left and right and no one checked on us for several minutes. Our salad was okay, but you know you're in trouble when the best part of your meal was the wine. The chicken Marsala was undercooked and the pasta we had was okay at best. Oh! I forgot! Many of our table settings were dirty and needed to be exchanged. I understand they had a lot of staff call in sick, but for a holiday (Easter) I would've expected better service. Too bad, we've always had good experiences at other locations.
For a truly outstanding dish here, you want to try the Chicken Marsala ! Tender and succulent chicken breasts and thick slices of fresh mushrooms in a glistening Marsala wine sauce that is wonderfully aromatic and sweet ! Almost like a very light teriyaki sauce but with fragrant wine !
Other dishes we enjoyed included Eggplant Parmesan, Fried Calamari with marinara sauce, and the Chopped Antipasto Salad !
If you have room, be sure to try the Mount Vesuvius Double Chocolate Molten Cake with tart Raspberry Raspberry Sauce "lava" and clouds of Whipped Cream !
Small size orders provide generous servings for 2 - 3 people, or certainly 2 people with left overs for both !
Buca di Beppo has a good variety of Italian food. I especially love the lasagna.
