The experience was great just the food took a little longer than we hoped overall as group. The staff was wonder and our server was top notch and very polite
We had a group of 10, our server did a good job with the separate checks, the food was good and portions are huge, everyone was able to take some leftovers. Overall a pretty good time.
It was a bit loud because there were a few other large tables nearby. Another server very loudly announced to the table next to us "let me know who is on what check now, etc." and was a bit obnoxious and could have easily been done by asking as he went around the table taking orders instead of making a loud announcement the whole room could hear.
Also, upon arriving the hosts seemed a bit confused and couldn't find my reservation, I overhead them not being able to find someone else's reservation as well but we were still seated at the correct time.
Good food good service. I always take my family and friends here when we want Italian food.
Our crowd has a few people that can be a little needy but ANDREW handled it VERY WELL! Trying all the foods was nice and tasted GREAT! but the meatballs were cold and 2 of our party didn't get their meal and had to take it to go.... otherwise, I enjoyed my bday dinner and will return!!
Everything went well
A few families with screaming babies were disruptive, with all of the available rooms families and all adult groups should be separated when possible.
One family had a lot of small kids and they trashed the place. It was quite noisy and a huge mess.
I have kids too but this isn’t chucky cheese.
Wait staff was great.
Food was good.
The food and service was great. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.
Enjoyed another dining experience at Buca's kitchen table. The kitchen table is an especially fun experience when Buca is having a very busy night. Our chicken marsala had a wonderful sauce with just the right amount of sweetness, and ample mushrooms. The apple gorgonzola salad was quite fresh, and plentiful with apples and cheese. We are frequent diners at Buca, and the servers and kitchen work hard to ensure a tasty and fun dining experience.
The food was delicious. The service was great. Our waitress was nice and friendly. Definitely will be back again soon.
My reservation was for 20 people. The restaurant was very nice, nice location, and easy to find. The waiter was very attentive and worked well with our large table. The food was very delicious and the portions were enormous. I recommend everyone to come to this restaurant for great service, excellent food, and great location.
Chicken Alfredo was delicious as always. Great discounts with available coupons.
Made a reservation for 14 teenagers to celebrate two of their birthdays. It worked out great! The Husband and I were at another table in another room, but we could still keep an eye on them. Our dinner was yummy, and the food and atmosphere for the kids was perfect, and their waitress seemed to take it all in stride.
Food was great but service was slow and inattentive .
We went here for our New Years eve dinner before going out for the evening. Our waiter was great and was more than helpful. We had the Spaghetti and meat balls and the Stuffed chicken breasts. We also had the trio appetizer and were disappointed that the spicy shrimp was barely edible because of the hotness and also the fried hot peppers that were included with them even when they are not advertised on the menu. Overall a good time. The Sangria, both white and red were delicious. Will go back again, just wont order the trio appetizer again.
While restaurant appeared mostly empty the service was slow and inattentive. Our party was four adults and four kids and the entire meal from seating to check was over two hours which is difficult with children.
Made a reservation but waited for 45 minutes after reservation time to be seated. It was Christmas, nonetheless, so we understood to be patient. But it was extremely frustrating to continue watching the hostess booking people over the phone and walk-ins and telling them it would be 15-20 minutes. Patrons waiting before us had already waited over an hour-and-half to be seated for even just a table for 2. Honesty is always the best policy! The waitstaff was extremely overwhelmed but VERY friendly. Kitchen was out of stock of our requested entrees (lasagna, veal).
I would recommend for just a family gathering but would not return during the holidays... just not enough staff, preparation, and honesty to make it worth the 3 hours we were there.
Reservations ran long. Very crowded, but servers were sweet. Food was a bit cold but it was Christmas. I’ll give it a pass.
The reservation from Opentable was fake. They ask us to wait more than hours besides our reservation. Really poor experience.
Food was so-so. Portions are large but with mediocre food, that really isn’t a plus.
Very crowded and tables are very close to one another. Food was fine but service was slow. We had a reservation but still had to wait for 30 minutes to be seated.
It was freezing in this restaurant. Not my type of place restaurant. Never refilled my water glasses. Food was overpriced.
Lemon chicken was seared to a crisp tough and chewy
It was freezing cold inside and service in the bar area was worse than usual
We enjoyed the food but some of them were too spicy
The food was good but we were very disappointed in the service. There were 6 of us. My son didn’t get his fountain drink for quite some time. My husband ordered a certain type of beer and was told that they may not have it. He gave the waiter his second choice. After some time drinks arrived from the bar and my husband was told that his first requested beer was not available would he like something else. He had already given his second choice but had to repeat it and wait even longer. The bread came out, my son still hadn’t received his fountain drink. There were only two plates for bread and no silverware. We had to ask for both. We asked for extra napkins for a table of 6, and we received four napkins. The bread plates were dirty. Right before the food came out, larger plates came out. Some of the plates had white stuff on them. Others s had water sitting in them. When we pointed it out to our waiter, he apologized and said he tried to dry them with a napkin and that’s what was in the plates. We watched him take all drinks on a tray to other tables in the area or bread and plates on a tray, but our stuff arrived in pieces as if we were an afterthought. The temperature was pretty comfortable until our food came out. Then suddenly it was freezing. We told our waiter. He said he would check, but the temperature never changed. We asked for our food to be boxed up and he took it to another table with him before taking it to the back. We had to wait a long time for him to come back with our checks. Again, very disappointed in the service. My job has catered from Buca and I enjoyed it. Hadn’t been to the restaurant since I worked near the Southlake location. No one else in my party had the food before and it was all of our first time at this location. Not interested in going back.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner (our 3rd annual Buca Thanksgiving Day feast).
The food was good our room was relatively quiet until the end of dinner when a big table showed up. I think our waitress had other tables in other rooms because she frequently disappeared. Good was good - thought it was better last time though.
Each and every time we get a promotion email, we make a point to go and dine. Sometimes even when we don't have a promotion coupon. Great food & service consistently.
We won't be going back. There are MUCH better options in Dallas when the red sauce craving hits! Lasagna was ridiculously overcooked and mushy. Service was just ok.
Everything was outstanding once again
Had a wonderful time with my family and the food was amazing. The staff was Fun and friendly!! An amazing birthday dinner.
The food was family style, so unless you want to order the same thing as your date, plan on bringing home lots of leftovers, and paying a large check. It worked out. My husband and I had dinner for the next night!
What a fun dinner?! The bread was awesome! I highly recommend the mini meatballs for your appetizer. They are so good. All meals are, fittingly, served family style. They have serving sizes for 2 and for 4. The prices were incredibly low. Such a great value! The only complaint I have is that the portions are so large that I didn't have room for dessert! 😉
It wasn't a bad experience, but not great either. The food was ok for the most part, but not great. The apple gorgonzola salad was outstanding though! The restaurant was too cold and so noisy that we could hardly speak, even though it was not busy. One would think that family style would be reasonable, but I didn't find it particularly reasonable.
Kids love it!
It wasn't the best and wasn't the worst.
We ate at the kitchen table if you want the best experience eat in the kitchen. As far as italian food goes bepo is the best.
We had a wonderful meal! The eggplant parmesan was amazing! Worth the visit just to have it!!!
Went for special occasion. Was so loud that we couldn't talk across the table. Food was very good. But the order didn't get put in to kitchen the first time, so we did not get our entrees until 90 minutes after we were seated.
it took them 45 mins to get food out because the cook let. It would have been fine but no one informed us of the delay and as soon as my food came I had to box it up because I had to go back to work. And the server was less than attentive.
We dined here for Mother's Day and had a great time. They accommodated our large group with no problems at all!
