we had a wonderful time, delicious food, drinks were great, dessert was awesome, staff very helpful.
Great food, great value, large portions.
We come here a couple times a month. Food is good and so is service. Sometimes they get more people than servers and that is when the wait time is too long.
I would recommend Buca di Beppo to anyone!!!!Excellent food, Excellent service
Female hostess at stand refused Open Table Reservation.
She said OT overbooked their restaurant and we d have to wait. We were told that the computer systems do not link properly and we should call restaurant instead.
She was not professional, appeared overwhelmed, and untrained. ( I checked the restaurant app, they had both our group size and time available)
. We waited and were then seated in the complete Rear of the restaurant, no other patrons, no staff present and shoved in a corner. It was clearly their room for large gatherings. Within 10minutes a Very Large group of more than 20 were seated, with 6 small children. It was Very Loud!
Should have walked out..but instead, the adults actually apologized for the noise, the kids were just being kids after all. They were kind...
However, our plates were Cold after asking for them as we were only given app plates for our salad but No dinner plates. The food was actually good and the House Cabernet At $18 a glass was utterly ridiculous! So don’t ask for “house red! “ our Waitress was actually pleasant, but appeared running around. She was not the issue for our terrible experience here.
So imho..Despite the Awful, unprofessional, unkind, apparently unhappy female at the podium who clearly needs training as to How to speak with paying customers.. we enjoyed the banter of our party room occupants, decent Italian food and we just rolled with the punches.
We ve eaten here before, we’ve even had take out.
However..we just Cancelled our next reservation and have told family and friends of our Discourteous encounter with the Hostess and Her clear issue with Open Table reservations.
We likely would not return or recommend.
We have Never had such a Negative Open Table Reservation issue before. Management should address this alleged OT issue, if it actually exists. Perhaps training is in order.. it’s not only what the hostess said, but how it was said to us, Awful!
First time in the naples location the food was good. The garlic bread was different then what I get in Pennsylvania. We had a table near the bar and our server doubled as the bartender. Not what I expected when I made reservation. Our server was very nice but having to pull double duty the service was lacking unless that is just the status quo for Florida restaurants.
We had family visiting and thought we would treat them to one of our favorite restaurants in
Naples!! We were not disappointed, food and service were excellent! Our hostess gave us all the grand tour and told us about the restaurant and the room we were in, the wine room!!
We will be back!!
Antipasto salad was very good, the lasagna had no taste and no meat. It was all noodles, a little sauce and a little cheese. Will not return, too many good restaurants in Naples.
My family liked it so much that we are going to book my sons rehearsal Dinner!
Showed up for our 7:30P reservation and was told it would be another 15 minutes since OpenTable doesn’t know how busy they are? Got seated in a room with the loudest party of 10 I’ve ever experienced in a nice restaurant. Entrees took a long time to come out and when they did there was a mistake, which forced us to wait even longer for that piece of our meal. Couldn’t believe how expensive it was. Won’t be going back to that location any time soon.
We used to frequent this restaurant when we lived in Florida but have not had a chance to visit in about 5 years. What a disappointment! The place has quite a different "vibe", tacky actually!
We requested a quiet booth and were seated at a corner table but in no time at all they sat two other tables right next to us with their cell phones ringing and it quickly became very noisy when the rest of the restaurant was practically empty. We asked our waitress to ask them to turn their phones off or be re-seated. She then ignored us and we were not served our entre until the other tables had their's. At that point we walked out.
Buca di Beppo corporate should know about this.
A lovely dinner and waitress was wonderful.
Waited almost half an hour past our reservation time as hostess sat walk ins before us. When I spoke up, they had already given our table up, and we were seated in the bar area due to no other tables being available. From that point, it took 1/2 hour to get water and drinks on the table. Took 15 minutes after that to get our order taken. 20 minutes after that, we’re told they were out of one of the sides we ordered. A menu was dropped off to pick a side, but she did t come back for 10 minutes. Food was dropped off at the table with dirty appt plates and empty glasses not bussed. No clean utensils were provided, so we had to flag someone down to get them. It was so ridiculous , the tables on both sides were having the same issues, our mutual entertainment was timing our service. After dinner, having waited almost 20 minutes for the check to be picked up, we got up from the table and paid the bill at the bar and left. From start to finish, it was an absolute amateur operation.
We wanted to meet some friends and thought this was an easy location from our home. After ordering an salad and pizza, which were both very good, we should not of ordered meals... Another pizza would have been plenty. (Table of 5) We loved the pizza.
We were looking for a place to have a rehearsal dinner,
Reviews were not very good, as so I was very Hesitant.
My parents and I went to try for ourselves, as everyone
Deserves a chance..
The atmosphere was very Home style, service was a bit slow, needless to say the food was very good, there sauce
For the pasta was delicious, and mussels were perfect.
We had a enjoyable dinner. Our server Collin was excellent we didn't have to ask for anything
This was not my first time at Buco de Beppo On every occasion the food was excellent very large portions great service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone
I would call the pizza “flatbread” not pizza. Skimpy on sauce and toppings.
Had reservation but was made to wait 20 minutes. Hostess forgot about us.
She was not very organized at all.
Waitress was excellent and food was too.
There is something terribly wrong. The 2 hostesses were unbelievably rude. We had to wait for 15 minutes beyond beyond our 5.30 reservation. Yet, when we were finally escorted in by the terse waiter, the place was virtually empty. Really strange.....why couldn’t they have seated us in the almost empty restaurant? Two manager types appeared briefly while we waited to stare at the podium and successfully avoided eye contact and slinked away before the more than dozen of us could inquire about what the problem was. We had intended Buca as a fun place for our out of town visitors. It was so embarrassing for our visitors and Naples to endure this treatment. We use to come monthly, sometimes with groups as large as 15. NEVERMORE!!!!!
Exactly what you expect from Buca's, great food and great service.
Our server was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent and there was plenty for all.
We went there on Valentine's Day--not to celebrate just as a place to get into! It was absolutely FREEZING, and everyone there said there was nothing they could do about it. Something about the thermostat was tied to the kitchen. It was so cold, that the meal was not the least bit enjoyable, and if we could have found somewhere else to go, we would have.
Snotty server, bad service, freezing cold. We will not be back.
Valentine’s Day Bucca had a 3 course special very good value
The food was too much and not delicious.
Will never go back. And not inexpensive.
Service was okay, our waiter was nice but the food was just terrible. Our bruschetta was served with old tomato’s that were mealy in texture, the antipasto salad was decent. Garlic bread inedible. We also shared a spaghetti, shrimp diavlo and chicken saltimbocca (sp?) which were subpar. It simply was a poor experience and given it’s a chain I would have expected some consistency to its other locations.
Great coupons that can be used to have a reasonable hearty meal.
Food was great.
The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. We had reservations for a party of 6 at 5:00pm on a Sunday night. We still waited almost 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant was understaffed and many of the tables were still dirty from the lunch crowd. I can't say that I will go back there again, as there are many other Italian restaurants in town with a more extensive menu and much better staffing/service.
Buco was closed due to damages from Irma. Many renovations done yet the atmosphere and decor was kept in a similar manner. At lunch the food took a long time to come. Chicken Parm/spaghetti was very good, as was the eggplant Par,/spaghetti. The bread has been improved. The cannoli was very dissappointing. It was only filled with cream at the ends, and much of the pastry lacked cream. Not worth $5.00.
Tried again after the closure and was disappointed. Service was just awful. Slow and slow and slow. Did I mention slow. Many trips in the past and will try once more but they knew it when we left and we mentioned it. Sorry but they are not ready for prime time yet. Even the reservation was delayed ...
Always a stop when we come to Naples. Good food and atmosphere make for a good dinner.
Service was tearable, food was average. Lipstick on a wine glass and they forgot an entree. Noise was unbearable.
Excellent prices for quantity & quality food. Atmosphere is great, very casual, service is polite & right on.
Always wanted to try the pizza for many years coming here. Finally ordered it instead of their other fine dishes. What a disappointment, $28 for pretty much a soggy flatbread. Also ordered a salad and that was $26 just for a salad. So Pizza, salad and a bottle of wine which was $30 retail $10 in the stores ended up paying $100 for pizza and a salad. This place should have just stayed closed. After the hurricane.. or just stick with their chicken parm which is usually excellent. And don't sit in the bar area tables because the bartender needs to take care of the whole restaurant drinks and all the tables in that room also. So service was really slow and other people's meals were mixed up and not done properly. Maybe just getting started from being back from the hurricane?
Mediocre setting at only Mediocre prices with a coupon in a Mediocre Italian food n feel setting! But go for it anyway! It’s kinda dark with hallways and over decorated walls in the dining rooms. ( not a bright place like paradise is in Naples )
Food and service were great. Definitely return there
Poor service, bad food and very very cheesy atmosphere. 8 people eat for under $300 so if that’s what your looking for you found the right place.
They were overwhelmed. Our waitress was ok. She was overwhelmed also and wasn’t handling it well. No bread w salad. Never got refills on drinks. But overall still decent meal.
Terrible service. Inexperienced server. Food was just OK. The pizza was the best. Good for kids though
