Buca di Beppo - Minneapolis

This restaurant will be worth it if you can share plates for each entree serves 3ppl. Appetizer was not worth it for portion size. Does not feed 3 people

My partner and I enjoy taking the kids to Buca for the delicious food and warm and inviting atmosphere.

We came from out of state to meet family and have Thanksgiving Dinner together. Dinner was at 5:30 and they had no traditional meal left. Main menu was good but over priced. Wine was $17 a glass for Chianti. Our table was crowded in by another’s although there was availability seating elsewhere.

Overall it is not an experience I wish to repeat.

We had the Pope’s Table for a family birthday party!! It was perfect and very family friendly with little ones!! The food was great as usual!! We had great service too!! Arrived early with our family on a Monday evening and it worked out great!! Definitely you will not be disappointed!!

The food is good and the service was excellent. However, I made a reservation on Open Table for our party of 5 and still waited 25 minutes after our reservation time for our table. We arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes early, so in total we waited 40 minutes before we were seated.

A fun and lively place. We had a group of 12, a big birthday party. We waited 25 minutes after our reservation for our table. The party at our table was not leaving. I felt the manager could have offered to buy them a drink in the bar as there were many parties waiting in the lobby and they’d been sitting after they’d paid for 20-25 mins.

Once we sat, the service was awesome. Great server. The food is good but overpriced. The ambiance is spirited and the place is a good time. Just keep your expectations in line for what it is and you’ll be happy. Decent family style Italian.

Outstanding service & food! Perfect dinner with kids!

Dinner before the marathon is always pasta with family. Unfortunately, it is so loud we could not visit. The pasta was good, perfectly al dente. The chicken for the gluten-free guests was delicious. However, the Antipasti Salad was soggy. It was as if it had been premixed- laden with dressing- an hour before it was delivered. Service was excellent, though; Matt took great care of us.

Good was excellent and service great as always is. We love going there. One of our favorite spots to celebrate birthdays.

Food was good. Service by Jamie was outstanding. Restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday evening. Not sure why. I like everything but the birthday song sung by wait staff. That was pretty cute when done at TFI Friday back in 1980 - not so much in 2019.

We had a great time. We had a large group and sat at the pope table. We were celebrating a special occasion and this was the perfect setting.

The calamari was average, the pasta was pretty good. Beer selection, meh.

Bad service, not friendly,was not busy but took a long time,she brought a wrong pasta. Can’t find her ..
I’ll not going back there.

Have never been to Buca di Beppo before now. Loved the food, the decor, the location, the service.

Showed up for national lasagna day & they ran out of lasagna! But otherwise food & service was excellent.

I had no idea Buca de Beppo was a chain restaurant when I made the reservation. Upon arrival, two members of our dinner party told me they had both previously eaten in different locations, so I was initially a little concerned that the food would be "average." I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious! The service was attentive and friendly. The family style food was well prepared. The pasta was hot and al dente. We enjoyed the family-style presentation.

I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Our waitress made our graduation celebration a fun celebration for my daughter. We will go back again!

Unusually poor service for a favorite restaurant. Our server did not get enough glasses or silverware, was slow on returning to the table, and forgot drinks orders/requests for additional bread. When I spend $500 for a dinner, I expect better service.

Great meal!

Made a reservation for 10 people about a week in advance for a special occasion. When we arrived we were put in a small crowded back room, next to two other parties. The restaurant was not full, and there was plenty of good tables, but we were given a half table/half booth on top of other customers. We were the only people in the restaurant and they shoved us all on top of each other. We couldn’t enjoy our conversation because of the set-up, and constantly had to be getting up out of our chairs in case anyone had t use the bathroom. It was loud and conversation had to almost yell to be heard over the noise to talk to anyone at the other end of the table. Disappointing set-up

Loved the dessert! It was a fun way to celebrate a belated birthday.

Great food and fantastic service. We had way too much food, but worth having extra for lunch the next day. It is a little pricey.

Birthdays are better at Buca!

We go several times a year, normally for dinner. The food is always great! The best eggplant parmesan.

We normally do in a middle table, at night, when it is darker and not as obvious about the lack of cleanliness. Honestly, gross! We had a booth and one of my son's toys fell on the floor and when I reached under to get it all I could think was what did I just touch?!?! It seems like they didn't move the table out, at the end of last night and everything gross just stayed.

Sadly, this got us paying more attention. The booth wall had definitely not been wiped down.

While the food is really good, I'm concerned about what the kitchen looks like now. Kind of wish we had never sat at booth to see this. We might go try the one downtown; same food, but hopefully cleaner.

Nice meal- great service. Lots of young people there who were doing cheers and very loud. Not Buca’s fault.

Everything was amazing! Food, service and atmosphere could not have been better. Needed a dolly to get out the door!

50% off spaghetti and meatballs on Mondays! Delicious! Service was great, portion sizes are ridiculously huge! A small spaghetti and meatballs served 2 of us for 2 full dinners!

CLASSIC American Italian Faire, served Family Style. For the uninitiated that means HUMOUNGOUS PLATES. My friend and I normally eat for Three People....and we were satisfied with a single plate of Spaghetti with the largest Meatballs you have ever seen. And good too!! That and a bottle of wine and we were satisfied. The atmosphere makes you feel your Italian Grandma is gonna pinch your cheeks and ask "Why you so skinny? Mangia!"

So delicious and completely comfortable space to spend time with family.

The service was great, the prices were not—even with a $20 coupon! A small salad is $22?? And way too much dressing.

Even with a reservation, we were initially seated right by the host stand, and the cold breeze coming in from outside. I realize, as a table for two, at a group destination like Buca, two tops are not abundant. But if I'm going to take the time to make a reservation three weeks in advance, then I would expect a better table. They found one for us right away when asked. Also, this was for my wife's birthday, and no mention was made of the occasion.

It was great! Gigi was a great server and food/drinks were delicious!
