Love chicken saltimbuca!
Very good ambiance, excellent food, great selection, outstanding staff!
Didn't realize this us a chain. Holiday Sunday night in southern town didn't offer many alternates. First Italian glass of wine was either old or corked. Asked for alternate and I swear the replacement came from same bottle. Veal masala tasted as though sauce was HONEY based. ?? Family style for 2 or 4 only option entrees. What if couple has different tastes. Bad concept. Overall poor experience. Likely not expecting a return, regardless of location.
Server not friendly until check time. Food average. White sangria ok. Value not great for party of 2. Spending $100 for so so meal and service not appetizing.
Great food and service. Forgetting Maggianos
Was very disappointed about not having the food that was on the menu.. I service was slow.. never saw the management present.. No one ever check on us...
On a night that the restaurant seemed fairly slow, it took far too long to get our meals. We were a party of 6 with 2 of those being children. We were told three times that our food was coming up, only to have to wait 20mins after each time, to be told again, "your food is coming up." We were told that the long wait was for the children's meals; which were spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo. I still don't understand why those meals would take longer than the saltimbocca and linguine with clams that we ordered. The bread was slow to be replenished as were water and drinks. I sat for a good 25mins before getting a refill of club soda, that I had to ask for. To say I was displeased is an understatement. It is doubtful that I will ever return to Bucca di Beppo.
The server was working two different sections of the restaurant and she was a bit flustered and stressed!
The food was great. Our server took great care of us, explaining the family style atmosphere and helping us order. Always offering more bread, tea, etc. It was a little loud and we were seated in a very tight area, but had a big group...they served us well.
Apparently they were understaffed as our reservation is being shown as a no show, when a waitress is the one showing you to your table instead of a hostess I guess there's an issue. We waited forever for food, my husbands was cold by the time his came. We ordered the garlic cheese bread the first lot to come out was garlic bread no cheese so we sent it back. We had to tell another waitress to get ours so we could get our bill to be able to leave. Food was good, service was awful and the restaurant was not that busy
Great place for a family
Always excellent!
Ambiance was good, servings are odd, far too large. Would probably not return.
Nice cozy atmosphere, with separate rooms for privacy. Interesting pictures throughout and a warm comfortable feeling even though it's in a shopping center. Huge portions.
Small is more than enough for 2.
Reasonbly priced and a good value.
The food is fine. It's not what you go for. Go for a fun and easy meal with family and friends.
Yummy food and great place to eat!!!
We had a reservation. The rude lady at the front desk was overwhelmed and didn't need to be at the front desk. She proceeded to try and seat another table with the same reservation time, that had arrived 15 minutes later than we did before us. Another greeter had already proceeded to find us a table and did. Our server was overwhelmed, it was Mother's Day. He didn't do refills on drinks, brought our friends the wrong SIZE of a meal, just wasn't very attentive as he was too busy.
Food was great.
It took a really long time for them to seat us despite our reservation. Service was fantastic. The food is great. I just wish the seating could he better. We've had this issue there before.
had the baked ziti and thought it was pretty good - the Mt vesuvius however needs work
Decent food, good service but overpriced alcohol ($22 for a carafe of 'sangria'...wine and fruit juices with one piece of fruit floating).
This establishment is one to bring a full family. The food is served family style. They bring a massive plate out and you scoop what you want from it. The main reason I'm lowering the star rating is price. The prices are steep imo and even with a free entrée it was well over $30.00 for two. Granted we got an app and dessert but still. It's fairly quit and much larger than the outside appears to be. The food is authentic but if you just want an Italian meal stick to Olive Garden.
We used open table for this restaurant and it signed us up for the email program. It then gave us a coupon for a free meal. The choices were classic spaghetti marinara, classic fettuccine Alfredo, or baked ziti. We got the baked ziti and the portion size was absolutely huge so make sure you bring your appetite. Everything here is served family style meaning one large plate everyone serves themselves on individual plates. I very very highly recommend you order mozzarella garlic bread it is very very tasty and reasonably priced also served family style. They do have house bread however, served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. If you manage to make it through the entire meal and order dessert they have a large selection of items to choose from. The tiramisu is what we got and it was wonderful also served family style for the most part however they were out of the family-style so they gave us two individual portions lunch sized portions and those were massive as well. If you're looking for authentic Italian look no farther than Buca di Beppo. It was quiet when we went however this establishment is very much suited for parties, and rehearsal dinners may even have spots for large parties so that they do not disturb other patrons.
Love the veal saltimbocca!
It's always good to go to Buca Di Beppo with a large group to share several entrees.
A great place to get excellent Italian food. Expect generous portions (minimum serving is for two people). All of your favorite Italian dishes, along with some great dishes that aren't so well known.
Excellent dinner. Too much food but everything was delicious.
Buca is a chain and so I should've expected exactly what I got. The portions are massive in quantity, but sorely lacking in quality. We were both terribly disappointed in the wine. The worst part was we would've been a lot better off at a local place or even Bonefish for the same money.
Great food and great service
We made our reservations for Christmas Day dinner from 200 miles away, never having visited - or even heard of - Buca di Beppo. Dining at the Macon, GA facility was a remarkable experience - Beautiful decor, quite and relaxing atmosphere, and an enticing menu. We were served by a very professional, friendly, and gracious waitress who took time to give us a short tour of the restaurant.
It's always wonderful to get far more than you could reasonably expect in any transaction. Buca di Beppo far exceeded any expectations we might have had. And - They serve the best lasagna I ever ate!!
Our group voted, and we gave them a 12 on a 10-scale. Don't miss this place!!
The food was great, the service was even better! I would definetly recommend for group or family outing or special event!
Food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere enjoyable. The manager and the Chef each came around to find out how we liked the food and service. This on a busy Thanksgiving day.
Group of 13 for a birthday party, only 1 server, who was frequently missing. Party had order together and ready to be placed quickly, but waitress took while to take order. Waitress had to be hunted down to get refills on drinks.
The salad was excellent; the pizza was scant & in appetizing.
We had Chicken Parm & Baked Ziti as our meal, and let me just say that it was absolutely amazing!! The baked Ziti was probably the best I've had ANYWHERE! We had half of our food leftover, so we split it into lunch meals for the next day. I was a bit concerned about microwaving the leftovers, but oh my word it was STILL just as good as the day before!! Thank you for a seriously delicious dinner (& lunch)!
Decor is a little cluttered but it's homey. Feels like you are in someone's home with smaller rooms instead of a big open dining area. Good food and lots of it served family style not by the plate. Desserts are fantastic and the service was great. We love this place when visiting macon.
The small portions are always enough for at least two people and more like three. Molly was our server and she was top-notch. Friendly, efficient and overall a joy. The salad with Gorgonzola and red apple has spicy pecans on top and dried cranberries and I wish I could replicate it at home but the dressing is never as good as Buca's. My husband loves the meatballs and always orders them as an appetizer. The baked ziti was fabulous and this was the fist time trying the chicken Saltimbocca. My new favorite! Topped with sage, lemon sauce, capers and prosciutto, it's salty, lemony and delicious. We (5 of us) split a slice of Italian Creme cake and that was plenty for us all. It's moist and delicious and light and I am so glad we don't live in Macon or I would eat here every night The wine list is good and the lemoncello is divine. Make sure to ask to sit in Molly's section. She is a doll.
Had dinner tonight here for my wife's birthday and it was a great experience! I missed my wife's birthday last year due to a deployment and wanted to make up for it. I asked on the reservation if they could do something and they went above and beyond for my wife! The chef was very friendly and made our dinner perfectly! Our waitress was one of a kind and made the night perfect! Thank you!
We love everything Buca De Beppo! Good is outstanding and the atmosphere is just right!
You have to try the Lemon Chicken! The sauce is butter, lemon and capers!
Enjoyed our stop in Macon. The food was delicious and the service outstanding!
