We reserved a spot for 8, they sat us at a table for 6. It was burning up in there, they didn’t bring any children’s footd until after the adults food was gone.
I love this location. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Food is always excellent. Great place for everyday or special occasions.
You don't wanna know.
Horrible service, waited an hour to get our food.
Restaurant was stifling so very uncomfortable. Food was just ok. Shrimp in the pasta overdone so was tough. Service was good but a bit rushed.
We usually love Buca in Greenwood, but had a rough go this time around. We had a reservation, but had to wait 15 minutes in the tiny waiting area by the front door before we were placed in what we dubbed "the kids' room". It was a room packed with large parties and booths full of kids. We found ourselves yelling to be heard. Our server was nice, but it was clear that she was overwhelmed with the crowded, noisy room. We ordered drinks, which needed to be sent back because they tasted terrible. We had to ask for bread to be brought to the table, which usually comes on its own. One of the dishes was incorrectly made and had to be sent back. Once we finally had all of the food after a long wait, it was good - but this was not Buca at its best.
The food was great. The hostess seating tables was very rude and hateful.
They were unprepared for the holiday (Christmas) of which they had completely booked reservations. So, NO excuses for at five o’clock in the evening having run out of main staples in an Italian restaurant...meat sauce, salad, lasagnes, pesto, ravioli and shrimp. We had had reservations for a month and it’s not like on Christmas you can change your plans on the spot with a party of 13. We were lied to by wait staff and management.
Made reservations for Christmas about three days ahead of time and were seated promptly. However we were told that he restaurant was out of salad, meat sauce, ravioli, and lasagna. First of all, this was a reservation only day and the restaurant knew who and how many people to expect. So how are you not stocked for business? That was very poor planning by management.
Our server was great. She was very prompt and courteous to us and apologized for the missing menu items. Which was appreciated, however we told her not to worry about it since she had nothing to do with that.
Overall this experience was ok. Very subpar management but excellent service.
Waiter was not very personable . He put our order in wrong and we got the item after we where all done eating at that point it was useless .
This trip was an event for my granddaughters birthday party, the food was below average and I'm very concerned because we have reservations for Christmas dinner. This has become a family tradition and its been great the last few years, but lately the food has not been the best.
Our waiter forgot about our party of 13 on several occasions throughout our 3.5 hour ordeal in order to take care of a "larger party" according to one of the other servers. This was at 4pm on a weekday so it was not the least bit packed. We waited an hour to order food . In addition, we waited 30 minutes for our checks to arrive after our meal which were still not correct.. No "have a good day" or anything. He just gave us our checks and marched off to, I can only assume, another neglected table. I would not recommend this location. Try downtown.
Great food....large portions, and good service. Having ability to use open table reservations is handy
We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. The service was excellent. The menu was perfect for Thanksgiving.
Photos/pictures on the wall is not appropriate for family dining with children
Took the whole family for husbands birthday and it was excellent, as always. Our server was great and took great care of our large party.
Great service and food was delicious!
Birthday celebration and the service was terrible. Server visited us maybe 3 times and we had to ask for him to come back. Had to ask 2 times to have our food boxes up and it 2 hours to eat and he only had two tables.
Walked in about 1 pm. No one around, walked into the bar area, no one around. Sat at the bar and waited, and waited...Finally went back to the front and was noticed by a woman that came out to answer a phone call. Eventually was served by Paige - very nice and friendly, her first day. The service rating is not a reflection on her, jut the fact the place was dead...a manager, I presume, did eventually come over and apologize for my wait. Food wise, my wedding soup came out cold, had to send it back. Not even close to the best I ever had. Chicken limone, delicious. Wouldn't be my first choice to go and have lunch again.
We love Bucca di Beppo. The food is consistently good and the wait staff if very friendly and efficient. They seem to know all of the food choices and usually make great recommendations for people like me who are afraid to try new things. My husband is not a fan of Italian food but he loves Bucca so that's saying something.
Good food, good wait staff. HOWEVER, the bar area tables are under the air conditioning so the area is very cold during the summer. We even asked to have the AC blower turned down, but they said they could not do that.
The food was excellent, however, the noise level was unbearable. Great place for families with kids. For a more relaxed quieter ambiance make sure you have a table in the bar. The service was lacking in attention to details too; for example bread had to be asked for twice and waiter seemed swamped with 6 tables to tend to.
We went to Buca after my son's graduation for a family dinner. The family style meals were delicious and great for sharing!
Poor service, dry chicken, screaming children.
We were celebrating Mother's Day. Several people were from out of town. Despite our reservation we did not get our table until 20 minutes after the time. The waitress did not bring water to all who asked. She did not know the wine we ordered came in a carafe. She brought my sister an ice tea with some straw paper in it. The tea was cloudy. The kids meal Alfredo had next to no taste. The Marsala chicken was good as always but it was better when they put mushroom quarters instead of slices. The lasagna was dry but tasty. Portions of garlic mashed potatoes were tiny. 7 people and a kid cost $240 when you include tip. Only 2 people had wine. I doubt we will come back.
Great food and wine selection. Would go again. Would like to try several other dishes. We came late and the manager explained they were out of many items. The server was excellent, she recommended dishes that they did have. Her service was excellent and the timing of the dishes was perfect. Friendly staff.
We had a large group (16) for a casual staff get-together and we only reserved with a week's notice. They accommodated us so well for what they had available! We were a bit of a loud fun crowd, and they made us feel right at home :)
Excellent food. Our wait staff made recommendations and they were spot on. We appreciated her input. Great food, great service. The only minor issue was the floor under our table was extremely sticky. I think someone may have spilled something and not notified the staff for clean up.
Always great food and service, generous portions and good drinks. The sauces are awesome.
Food was great but noise level was too high. We were seated near two big groups and had difficulty talking
Good and service were both great. Will go back again.
Place was FILTHY. I understand weekend and busy but please CLEAN YOUR BOOTHS AND FLOOR....WHAT a mess
Our waitresses was really slow and in organized.
Enjoyable evening out! The food & wine was delicious. The server did a great job and we will definitely dine again at Buca di Beppo-Greenwood. 🍝🥗🥖🍷🍾
The food was excellent. We were, however, seated in a room where three different children's birthday parties were being celebrated. There was just the two of us and the noise level made conversation difficult. I think they should have seated us in a different room. Also, the waitress seemed to hurry us. She brought out the salad and bread before serving drinks. She then brought out the main entrée before we had a chance to eat the salad and enjoy our drinks. She also asked us if we wanted to have left-overs boxed up to take home before we had a chance to eat much of the entrée. We had eaten at Buca just the week before and the service then was extremely good. We will go back but will definitely ask for a more private area and also a different waitress.
We go every Valentine's Day. Excellent food and all the meals are made for either 2 people or larger groups, I think 5. For such a busy night the service was very quick and friendly.
Always good food. Service was a little slow this time. I think they were short handed.
I was disappointed with the quality of the food and some of the prices. One of the dishes was served cold, the manager did offer to remake but it would take additional time so my husband just exchanged for another dish. In our opinion the meal should have been comped. We were celebrating and birthday and I was just plain disappointed
The service was excellent for a group of 15 on New Year's Eve. Always enjoy Buca
Service was EXCELLENT! Virginia was our server & was very helpful! We had Italian Wedding soup-excellent once Virginia returned it to kitchen to get hot( came out warm) Also had cheese bread that was good. We had lasagna which was only fair. Needed seasoning & CHEESE!! We asked for sauce since it was also bordering on dry. If you go ask for Virginia! Will try again & have a chicken dish-they looked better. Did not have dessert-went to Longs Bakery for the BEST BROWNIES!
