The food and the service were Excellent. We were a group of 12 friends and we requested the Pope room. It was a blast and we will definitely be back again.

We had a 6:30 reservation and did not get seated until 7:10 and we had to keep reminding the hostess of our reservation time. Our bartender, Jared, ended up seating us at a table in the bar and continued to give us a lot of attention and great service. He completely understood our situation and showed a lot of care and understanding. We did talk to a "manager" who said "that everyone was in our situation and he could do nothing to improve it!" we did not appreciate that he didn't even apologize!! Jared should be promoted to MANAGER, as he has all the qualities that a great manager shoud have. He saved our Mother's Day dining experience at this restaurant!!

Food was good as always but our 6:30 reservation turned into a 7:15 seating. It was Mother’s Day but it was obvious when we got there and was told it was a 15 minute wait that it was not true. They seriously need to be a less aggressive about filling up the seats and be more realistic with the customers.

We did not have a good experience at Buca Di Beppo - Gaithersburg. The restaurant seemed unprepared and overwhelmed by the number of guests expecting a nice Mother's Day meal at the restaurant. We had a reservation, but we were still kept waiting past our reservation time. Our server did not serve our food in a timely manner. There were multiple mix-ups and issues with our meal. Food tasted good and was plentiful, but the service issues will keep me from visiting the restaurant again.

Service was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty. Portion estimates are reasonable, but for value, do not order the Ceasar salad.
