The restaurant was freezing and the food took a while to get out. But other than that, it was good.
Our server was fantastic. Very attentive and efficient.
Very pleasant meal experience with a 10 person group. Good service and tasty food. Buca di Beppo has a great and fun atmosphere
food was good, service was a little bit over-exuberant for my taste but good
Our waiter brought us 4 pieces of bread for 7 people! We had to ask 3-4 times for more! We waited 45 min for dinner! He refilled some people at our table once with water, never my glass. He was never around to help. I finally had to get up and find a full pitcher of water for our table! The food was great. Chicken Parmigiana was extremely lacking sauce and the waiter finally brought us more tomato sauce after I got up and tracked him down. Took another 10-15 min for the extra sauce to come. In the end I had to get up from my table a 3rd time after waiting 20 min for a bill and a to go container. When I left I mentioned the above to the hostess who was at the front door. She said ‘sorry’ and ‘come again sir’. To busy to help! I have been to this same location for over 15 years! Worst experience ever! Their customer service is a ZERO!!!
One server took care of 15 of us... great job! Staff of front super friendly and helpful. Food was good and great price . Auto gratuity not applied for size of group
I was SO disappointed in our trip to Buca's because there is only ONE thing on the menu that I enjoy and I enjoy it a lot - lasagna - and they were completely sold out!!!! I'd been craving their lasagna for weeks and then finally during Christmas week I convinced the family to go. The waitstaff tried to convince me that a penne pasta dish was similar, so through disappointment I ordered it and it wasn't even close. Who runs out of lasagna at a national chain Italian restaurant??? boo
The food was good and plentiful and the service was excellent. The tables though are packed in and you can hear every word spoken at the many neighboring tables, making conversation at your own table difficult. Considering this was one of few local restaurants open for Christmas, I was surprised that they ran out of olive oil (an Italian restaurant!) and not long after closed due to running out of food - glad our reservations were for a fairly early dinner!
Very eclectic place with multiple small rooms, interesting pictures and lots of history.
Food potions are large which would be okay nothing was very flavorful and lacked interesting sauces and spices. Generally wholesome and a good place for a large family.
It's good, not amazing. Great service though
We had an outstanding server-Dara! She was attentive and felt like she was part of the family...great personality!!!
The food was delicious and quick:-)
Best Christmas dinner!!!
Server was too pushy trying to upsell. Tried to convince my husband we needed two entrees for the two of us. No way. I had to call him out on it and ask how many people the dish would serve “2-3” That’s just one of like ten of his upsell pushes.
Food quality and presentation was good for the price, service was good.
This is the second year in a row having Thanksgiving Dinner at Buca di Beppo . We were seated at noon just like planned and shortly after we had our drinks along with bread and Italian oil for dipping. Again, we chose the Turkey Dinner for 3 so we had some extra to enjoy at home. Being only the two of us it is much easier to go out for dinner and the food was cooked to perfection just like a home meal. Our waitress took good care of us and checked on our table often. Will go again next year.
We also like to go for lunch and have some of their yummy chicken parmesan. (The best around!)
Great food, ambiance and awesome staff.
I'll be back for sure!
Food was Good, but Pricey. Daniel, Our Server was Great and Friendly.
We were a party of 8 celebrating Mother's Day. The staff was awesome and the food was superb.
Great and quick service. Food was served promptly after ordering and tasted amazing. Our family enjoyed our time there and left very full.
We were impressed with the food and the portions. Everything we tried was excellently prepare and tasted great. Service was a little slow, like getting drinks, but the waitress worked very hard. All portions are either for 2/3 or 5/6 people.
My sisters, mother, and I went on mothers day for lunch with just us girls, the food was great, the service was stellar, and we all had leftovers to take home and not cooking was what they all wanted haha. I am really happy we went. We all had a great meal and time.
Buca di Beppo has a more traditional Italian menu which I like. Food and service was very good.
Food was delicious, and the atmosphere makes for a fun time. Only complaint is the $15 corkage fee for wine. I brought in 2 bottles for our group, and only opened one. Most other restaurants charge $5-$10. Sadly, that is a consideration that I will make when deciding to return.
My wife brought me here for my birthday. We hadn't been to this restaurant for a while and were both craving it.
- Our waiter was exceptional
- We went with his recommended combo on the menu for 4 people, and he nailed it - absolutely delicious.
- This is not a "cheap" place to eat, but I feel the value is there because of the quality if ingredients used and the authenticity of the food, and the fantastic service.
- The decor is very fun and unique, with fantastic vintage pictures and nostalgic items hanging everywhere.
- A great place to take a date
Will definitely return.
The food is consistently good, the drinks are great and the service is always great (even when it's really busy).
We went here for Valentine's day. We had not been in many years and are pleased we came back. The food was great, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We will be back soon.
This year's Valentine's Package of the heart shaped lasagna was not very good at all & certainly NOT worth 50 dollars. The lasagna edges were very burnt & it was very dry & just not good at all. We were very sorry we chose to come here for Valentine's Day meal. Last year's was good but not this year. We won't come here for this special again.
Wait staff inexperienced, management confused, veal parmigiana breading lacked spices. I would give conditional recommendation to friends.
The food was very good, but they were out of so many wines.
Our waitress didn't seem to passionate about her job, which is really too bad.
Buca di Beppo not only has great food but a great ambiance. Everything is served family style in generous proportions. We came for Christmas Eve dinner and it was all absolutely fantastic!
So so. Had to wait 15 minutes before I had my drink order taken. Then the I order spaghetti and meatballs and they brought linguini instead. The response I got that that "we must be out of spaghetti". I'll try it again I suppose.
Awful service ... rude waiters. Prepaid preordered meal took FOREVER! Unprepared restaurant - avoid for large parties
I think Bucca di Beppo is a great place but they are too "liberal" when it comes to calories and greasy ingredients.
Fun is the first thing that comes to my mind about Buca di Beppo . With an interesting décor and friendly service not to mention the big hearty meals we love it!
Good food and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.
Bucca was great! Our server was new so a little slow. But he did a great job. We waited 15 min to get our beer and wine by then
Our appetizers had already came out. Protocol a bit out of formation. But overall a fun yummy place to gather.
The hostess that seated us was marginal. Very difficult and we were there early enough for her to seat us anywhere and she would not accommodate us... Was a weird experience with the hostess. Otherwise, everything else was great...
Food was excellent. I rated service lower because our server, when we ordered a bottle of wine, didn't tell us that we couldn't order it because there weren't 4 people drinking at the table, he instead just brought us 2 glasses, then when we questioned him, he explained why. Why not be up front?! It was weird. Otherwise, no issues.
This is not the restaurant to save a dollar. While you might believe that family style ordering and dining is a way to save, even ordering the small plates ordering 3 entrees, a couple salads a bread item for 5 adults and 2 kids (including an infant) still set me back well over $200, including tip. And that is for average food, not special food. Good, attentive service, moderate noise levels, even on Mother's Day, but just not worth the money. The Mom wanted to go there, so we went.
The food is excellent and very large quantities. No reason to go home hungry. Our waiter was good but even after reminding him we were celebrating a birthday, he completely forgot. No cake nothing per our coupon. Oh well we didn't have room. Would have liked to take it home.
