I only gave this Buca a "good" for ambiance because this location doesn't have the interesting warrens of interesting rooms that most Buca's have. Otherwise, its fine.
I gave the value only "fair" because Las Vegas prices are just a big gouge party and its just so tiring to be constantly having to be pay at minimum $30 for any entree. Buca jumped onto this bandwagon full force in LV... even if there servings are large enough for two... The SMALL lunch ala carte Lasagne that is supposed to feed two people is $30 bucks. At the one near my home in Los Angeles, this same dish is only $9.99. So yeah, just a "fair"... and that's only allowing for the LV bump.
If you are going to spend $30 for a plate of Lasagna, you might as well go to one of the fancy joints in the Venetian. And you might get that warren of interesting rooms, too.
Overall, the dining experience was good. They have large portion sizes which is great for large groups. It was just me and my mother, so we were able to order one dish and share and there was leftover. We ordered the spicy sausage rigatoni which was good. We wanted to order a lasagna but they were out. How can you be an Italian restaurant and not have lasagna!
It was very noisy in the restaurant. Some of the photos hanging on the restaurant walls I found inappropriate, a concern diners with children may have.
It wasn't the best experience and it wasn't the worse. I would consider dining there again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
To start this restraunt didn't get my open table reservation so we ended up waiting for 30 minutes to be seated once seated it took the server 20 minutes to greet us. Food was below average and very pricey for quality.
They serve only food for 2 or more people, so as a couple, we could only order one type of meal. I actually did not like that at all. We have very different tastes and so we had to compromise on a meal choice and neither one of us was happy. I also was quite taken aback when the vegetables were $10.99 for a plate for 2. I don't know of any vegies worth that much. This was our first time in Bucca and we won't be back. Not having a choice of meal was not pleasant for me.
We were in Vegas on Thanksgiving and I felt that Buca di Beppo had one of the most traditional Thanksgiving menu's available aside from buffets that we were trying to avoid. While it didn't quite live up to grandma's homemade cooking it satisfied what we were looking for. We do wish we would have just ordered off of the menu though. That being said the server, Hector, was excellent and gave good advice. We were sat on-time for our reservation.
We went for our Thanksgiving meal and it was splendid! There was so much food left over that we asked for our waiter to box up complete with utensils to give to a homeless couple that we had seen on the way to Excalibur. Waiter was fabulous!
The wife and I enjoyed dinner here while n Las Vegas as we have not eaten at a Buca's for years since moving to Idaho. It was great to experience again the wonderful food and ambiance they offer. The hotel issued us a $10 off coupon which we used. Had drinks, an appetizer and an entree and still paid less than $45.00. Super service and it was nice to be away of the sounds and smells of the casino for a couple of hours. The waiter informed us of the serving style they offer here, as in large portions, so we ordered accordingly. Loved everything about the evening. Thank you Buca's.
Service was excrutiatigly slow for coming for lunch at 3pm. It wasn't crowded. The server didn't offer bread until we asked for some. She also forgot the olive oil and vinaigrette. Totally disappointed with this branch. I should have heeded the reviews.
Great service was my granddaughters 21 birthday Megan and he did a great job helping us all figure out what to order and what to eat.
Had the supreme Fetuccini Alfredo with chicken. Chicken was a little dry but the sauce was extremely bland. No fresh parmesan either. The mozzarella garlic bread was quite good though as was the service. As others have probably mentioned the portions are large but overall very unimpressed
It's an affordable nice break on the strip from the buffets. And it is great for a group because family style feeds a good size group as long as you can agree on the food. I love the apple gorgonzola salad.
Lots of food
The food was nice, but be aware that evrything is family sized. Luckily, the friendly waitress suggested a smaller portion.
great experience !
Service was great - Ian our server, Jay the manager - true hospitality personalities.
Surprised and disappointed the bread brought to table was cold - both times
Veal marsala was the biggest disappointment - not even close to marsala sauce - tasted like sweet and sour sauce with mushrooms.A traditional menu item should follow standard recipe
This veal was also not very good - more like sweet and sour beef swiss steak with mushrooms.
Not tender and not classic marsala sauce. Please stop calling this veal marsala -
Marsala is brown sauce with mushrooms, shallots, white wine and MARSALA WINE
Been making it over 30 years.
Other items, fettucini alfredo and chicken parm much more like classic recipes.
Mushroom appetizer should be larger
Had my wedding last week here, and everything was perfect. Food was great the ambiance was romantic the service was impeccable.
With reservations, we showed up 5
minutes early. Seated quickly, we waited almost 15 minutes for our server, then, almost 20 minutes more for pasta and salad. We left, spoke to the manager on the way out, didn't help. This was our 2nd try at the location at Excalibur..... there WILL NOT be a 3rd.
My daughter gave us a gift card for our 40th Anniversary, not knowing much about the restaurant, but the reviews she heard were encouraging. My wife and I had an amazing experience, the food was plentiful and deliciously prepared, and the surroundings were magnificent. The service was extraordinary. We will certainly return on our next visit to Las Vegas. Thank you all very much.
Food was awesome and so was our server,HOWEVER ...He Never Approached Us For Refills Or For Another Drink. That is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Yes, you were busy and it was a Saturday night, but maybe a separate drink server or put a couple pitchers of water on the table.
We always make this a stop when we girls visit Vegas and see the Thunder from down Under which is across the hall :). Great waiter, good food and drinks!
We have eaten at others but this location was not good. The food was dry, bread old and hard, salad fantastic. I would try other locations not this one.
The food was absolutely dreadful. Eggplant parmigiana had the texture of a used tyre and was impossible to cut. Very loud due to constant 'happy birthday' being sung by the staff (literally every 2 minutes). Do yourself a favour and avoid this place.
Overall great, the only issue is the young man that was waiting on us about half way through our meal got a large group at a table right next to ours. Aftet that happened we ran out of drink and had to wait several minutes to flag him down. Probaly should have had somebody helping watch his other tables once he started on the large group.
The food was great. The service was great And, making a reservation was the single smartest thing I did the whole vacation. However, I wish I had done some more planning before ordering so I could have better managed the family style service and the number of people we had ordering. Might have had less leftovers to spill on the luggage on the way home.
Large post wedding dinner, service was good. Waiter was so friendlucky and awesome$
Any time a restaurant is known for large portions I have a concern that the quality is second. However, our experience at BuccaDeBeppo was exceptional. The shrimp florentine was the best pasta I have ever eaten. The caprese salad was fresh and sharp. Service was exceptional thanks to Jody. Only downer was paying $9.99 for garlic bread when it is usually a free side at all other Italian eateries.
Food was good as well as the service. First time for us and the waiter was dead on with his portion recommendations. I would try this place again if we ever came back to Vegas.
Lorenzon and Josh did an excellent job on service and timing.
We had the stuffed chicken breast with prosciutto which was pretty good and we also had shrimp florentine which was just ok. Nothing special to it. We didn't order more than that because we knew the two dishes that we ordered we be plenty and it was. The restaurant and service was just ok. The waiter messed up on the pasta order...we only ordered two dishes and he placed the order for the wrong pasta. He apologized but again everything was just ok here.
Food was excellent! Service was great with such a large group.
We have eaten at Buca's many times and really enjoyed it. The food is truly excellent. You will not be disappointed.
We made a reservation online and got seated right away when we arrived. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and provided us with information on the menu as it was our first time there. The food arrived very quickly even though the restaurant was packed. The food came in huge portions and it was excellent. I would definitely recommend Bucca di Beppo in Las Vegas!
I am local and not a strip dweller so to get 4 stars is rare from me but this was above average.
Fairly priced based on strip
Excellent hostess Miranda
Very good server
And just a bit over average for flavor
Two adults and three children so family style was perfect...who doesn't like pasta. Small portion was very generous and we could have gotten by which two entrees for quantity. Average small portion around $23
The food was great, our server was polite and very understandable. Only thing that I would change is there portions. Did not like that one dish feeds two, don't get me wrong it was good for two people but when you would like to try other things and not have a bunch of half eaten plates infront of you. A must try if you have not yet ate there!!
Wonderful food. Each dish is for 2 people (small portion) to 4 people (large portion). My fiance and I got a dish with 4 different things and we loved everything. The staff was great and very helpful and nice. We went to Buca because my mom loved it so and we are very glad we did. Would definitely go back!
We ate at Buca di Beppo twice this vacation. We had previously been at this restaurant on other trips. Our first visit this trip was wonderful. Not so much on the 2nd visit. The lasagne was cold and very overcooked and mushy whereas on our previous visit it was delicious, which is why my mom re-ordered. Service is excellent and the restaurant is very handicap accessible with a nice ramp up to a dining area. The chicken parm was perfect on both visits. This restaurant is best for parties of 4 or more as the portions are huge, unless of course you have 2-3 people who want to order the same entree. The small is enough for 2-3 people. We had a party of 5 and ordered 3 entrees and still had food left. Nice that is is served family style so you can share and have a variety. Great location between Excalibur and the Luxor. We will return.
I went here for lunch and the food was ok. the server couldn't have been less enthused. She wasn't rude but boy was it tough to get anything.
very big portion. Linguine frutti di mare really too spicy.
Love the service love the food and the waiter was awesome.
When I crave spaghetti and meatballs this is my go to place. The portions are meant to be shared for two or moe people which means the portions are plentiful. The service was excellent and the wine and cannoli just made everything perfect.
