We had a 4:30 reservation for a birthday celebration. Although there was hardly anyone in the restaurant they seated us on a patio area next to the mall. I asked if they could reseat us. Someone told us there were no tables for 5 available?!?! I asked the hostess who said she would move us...we waited for another 20 minutes and no one came! No one seemed to care that we left. Our group had to eat in the food court due to time wasted. Terrible experience!
We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs., Stuffed mushrooms and tiramsu. Overall, the food was a major disappointment. The entre was served at room temperature, the stuff mushrooms were under cooked, the tiramsu was bland and stale.
While most bar areas are usually loud, this one at 9:00PM was sound quiet. The family section (unofficial name ) was quite busy and impersonal.
We had confirmed reservations for a party of 8. When we arrived they had given our alcove booth to a non reservation party. We were seated in a noisy area with a round table joined to a rectangular table. Very uncomfortable. No apology from manager. Will not go back again
We ordered two pastas and they had no taste or flavor. This please isn’t as good as in Davie, FL. Do not visit this location and travel down to Davie.
Family out for Christmas dinner
Enjoyed everything we ordered. Glad this Restaurant isn't one of the ones that have closed yet. Other locations have been closing regularly unfortunately.
Great place, great food!
Good italian, with honest food and prices. Expect family style food.
The food was pretty good for a chain. The portions are way too bigger. We were a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 kids who don't eat that much. Waiter suggest 2 large entrees and a side. We ended up having enough meal for 5 grown adults and probably still have leftovers. If there is a next time, we would probably just order 2 smaller entrees and that's it.
We had an early lunch reservation and were among only a few seated tables. Our table was set but a plate was dirty. We ordered and our chicken arrived undercooked. The server was nowhere to be found and I had to walk back to the kitchen to get the chicken replaced.
Went there on Saturday wasn't busy service was slow didn't get the birthday cake with coupon
We were celebrating my moms bday we started off with an antipasto Buca trio platter very good it had a little bit of everything main course Prosciutto stuffed chicken was delish. We will be back again.
This is the second time we came to this location. They started by seating is in the bar, would not mind but we had 2 kids under 8 with us and the bartender was also our waitress. We ordered some starters (still can believe they charge for bread), when we started to order dinner we asked for the salmon and we told they were out of it, and they started to run down the list of things they were out of. I wanted to leave but the kids had to eat. The chicken was dry and tasteless, bread was dry pasta was over sauced. This is the second time here and the second time they had to recite the list of what they are out of. I don't get how they run out of food that early. The only saving grace for this location was our waitress, she was sweet and felt bad about everything. And her personality alone kept this from being a complete disaster.
FOOD WAS AWFUL, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.......WAY OVER PRICED FOR WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Our waiter Fanfan, was very good. Informative and friendly. The food was plentiful and tasty. We had the shrimp scampi, peppers and sausage, spicy chicken, garlic bread, and veal parmigiana. We were there for Easter Lunch and although the Coral Square mall was closed this day, the staff were friendly while having to tell all the mall people that the mall was closed (as they are right by the mall entrance doors)
Better than the last time but has gone downhill. Will most likely be a while b4 I return to that location. Must be a new chef that needs much training.
Great but noodle was underdone and salty
Great service and excellent food
Everything was great!
Amazing Valentine's day dinner. Food was great.
Difficulty in getting seating inside vs outside. Food order was not exactly taken and caused our main course being delivered cold.
Excellent service from Lindsay, the food was great! And the chef personally made our meal, and brought it over to the table and spoke with us. Best restaurant experience I've had in awhile. We shall return.
It should be noted portions are for either two or five people. Everything is served family style.
Very pleasant meal as usual.......our server Sam is just wonderful.......she even remembers our drink preferences!
Good food and service as we dined out for Thanksgiving. Menu selections offered the traditional menu and a special Thanksgiving option. Buca is one of our favorite casual dining spots and we love their menu. The service was good, we're happy that we made the choice and would not hesitate to do it again.
The food and service was excellent, as always. Made the event more special by doing a birthday celebration for our granddaughter. We were taken right in at our reservation time and they knew from the Open Table reservation that there was a birthday guest in our party.
Love it as always... wonderful staff.....nice ambience.......wish they had a larger choice of salads and more calorie conscious entrees.
Delicious food and awesome service
good place that is close to home........had the mussels and they were delicious....successful fathers day.......coupons are a real plus
So disappointing... We've dined at a couple other Bucas and it's always been a fun experience with good food. However, the Coral Springs location really fell short of expectations.
We took my mother to the Coral Springs restaurant for Mother's Day dinner. The restaurant didn't seem overly busy but the service was awful. We ordered two apps but only one was served. Then our spaghetti was served in a puddle of water with almost no sauce.
The staff was nice enough - just not attentive enough on a special holiday. We won't be back.
The food was good, service stinks. Poor management is evident by poorly trained staff, long wait for drinks, plates, dinnerware and food.
My husband and I eat different foods,,,,,,,we end up ordering two different dishes which results in a huge bill,,,,,,,it usually ends up being thrown out ( what we take home) and the food is extremely salty
Had a great experience. Food was good as expected. I have been to a few and they are all on point.
It wasn't what I expected , thought based on the pictures it was a step above the Italian Food chain restaurants . It wasn't . The service was nice , however since the restaurant closes early they pretty much where shutting down at the time of the reservation . Was disappointed in the seating .
Food was average. Had better..
Went here on Christmas with my husband. Had a great time as always. Great food, awesome service :)
WE MAKE A RESERVATION 1X PER MONTH & ENJOY IT ALL....MANGIA.
ALL WONDERFUL SERVERS & A GREAT PLACE IN THE MALL TO DINE.
This was our first visit. We didn't know much about Buca other than it was family style dining. There are only two of us, and we usually enjoy ordering 2 entrees and a salad for a more "smorgasbord" style of eating. However, we decided to give it a try. when we saw the size of the small platters, we knew that ordering more than one wasn't an option. We ordered the chicken and sausage pasta and a small side Caesar salad. To start, the bread was delicious- crispy outside and not doughy inside. The Caesar had a very good dressing and just the right price for an accompaniment. We enjoyed the pasta, although I would have preferred a bit less garlic. It seemed to have too much of a bite. Perhaps roasted garlic would be smoother. In any case, the portion, a small size, was huge. We had it for dinner that night and twice more. That makes it a great value, but we don't want to eat the same thing three times in one week. Perhaps corporate should think about offering a few small plates or sampler/combo plates.
Everything is served family style, there is an abundance of food that is absolutely delicious. I as a rule do not eat Italian food at restaurants, they always taste like canned sauce. This place does not fall into that category, it was wonderful. It doesn't matter if you go as a family, a couple, or girls night out, you won't be disappointed. Plus the Service is every bit as great as the food.
We went to Buca to celebrate 2 family members birthday's. It was semi disappointing.
One of the dishes we ordered was Penne San Remo and it was tasteless. Another dish was Veal Saltimbocca which they had run out of veal (did not tell us) and substituted chicken and also did not tell us. We ended not paying for the Veal dish but it was disappointing.
The wait staff was wonderful.
