Buca has really been improving in the last year! They went through a slump with food quality and service for a while but they’re back! Our last 2 trips there were fantastic. Food was brought out quickly, delicious. The pizza is back to the way it was when they first opened. Drinks (we got sangria and old fashioned) were delicious. My husband loves the spicy shrimp and we all love the fried mozzarella. Service was excellent. Our server, Kiki was super nice and helpful. Downtown Columbus has grown a lot in the last 25 years and there are a lot of great restaurants, but Buca will always be special to my family.

Has really gone downhill. No draft, many menu items not available. The waitress kept saying the menu was new, and then would tell us items were no longer on it. Long delays for basic items like the meatball and spaghetti. The chicken limone had no flavor. They had one other party, but other than that did not appear to be busy. Many excuses, but no visit from a manager to apologize, just seems like no one cares about the customers. One person in our party as there for a business lunch and had the same waitress, so the excuse of a new menu was just that an excuse.

Was never offered a refill till I had a check in my hand. Server came to the table a total of 4 times in an almost 2 hour horrid experience. I waited almost 20 minutes after asking for a box. Waited 45 minutes after getting my food to ask for said box as waitress never came back to check. Mind you my wife and I were the only table besides one other and I saw at least 3 servers. Food was decent but I didn’t even want to tip because my dog can server a better table. I generally don’t write reviews but for the 150 buck meal this deserved a negative review. Not worth my money wish I never went. I get better service at McDonald’s
