Came here with friends for a homecoming dinner, service was extremely accommodating and kind. Food was delicious and easy to share amongst the group.
Our waiter was terrible we didnt have forks until the entree came. Ate appetizers with spoons. No balsamic in the oil for bread. The bread was cold. I'm a regular but this time sucked which was a huge surprise
The food and service were very good, but the price for a small glass of wine was $11.00!! we weren't offered a drink menu and chose the house chardonnay, not realizing it was that expensive. it was maybe a 4 oz pour. Ridiculous!
My husband and I went here on a whim and shared the Shrimp Florentine over pasta. It was so bland! The only flavor we could pick out was some mild garlic seasoning on the shrimp. Otherwise, it looked as if the pasta was served to us with a small drizzle of the pasta water it was cooked in and a sprinkle of shrimp and spinach. I like to think I’m not picky when it comes to my food and am generally happy about what I eat whenever I don’t have to cook it myself, but I couldn’t help but be upset at this dish. I could have bought a $.99 box of pasta and made a better dish than what was served to me for over $20. The only way we were able to eat it is by adding table salt (which I hate having to do) and some Parmesan cheese. Also, our service was very slow. We made reservations and were seated almost 20 minutes after our scheduled time. Our server was slow in coming to our table, and we just felt like our overall experience left much to be desired. Will probably not be back.
Food was great. The service could have been a little quicker.
Great at accommodating kids with allergies.
Normally, Buca's has amazing service. The food was still good, our waitress was not very attentive to our needs.
The service was very slow and the place was not crowded we had a three-year-old and one-year-old in our party in with the service being so it was quite a challenge to keep them entertained until the food came
Food was good as expected. Our server was very attentive. My wife and I will be back soon.
Loved the bruschetta in a large martini glass wish we had that again
Great food! Huge portions. Our kids loved the colossal brownie sundae!
The food was great, as always. The waitress on the otherhand left lots to be desired.
Food not up to past experiences - Alfredo definitely needs to be revamped.
Great food! Can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.
We like Buca. However they took my favorite menu item, Penne Al Forno, off the menu. And $3.29 for a beverage is kind of ridiculous.
I booked a party of 15 and was told we’d “probably have the room to ourselves” but had another large party seated next to us. It was very loud. However, the restaurant was very accommodating when I asked for my time to be moved up last minute. Also our waitress (Monique) was SUPERB!! The food was very good and several foodie guests commented about how delicious the Caesar salad was. The tour of the place to get to your table is weird and they should give you the option to opt out since I had one guest who doesn’t walk well and another who can’t hear. Also, you can’t really hear the hostess unless you’re next to her so most people in my group didn’t even understand why we took “the long way” to our table.
We were not happy with our recent experience at Buca di Beppo. There weren't very many people there, but service and food quality were not good. Food seemed to have been left out for quite a while before it made it to our table.
Our server, Diamond, did a great job with our large group of 10. All the food arrived as requested, everything was well prepared, and the whole family really enjoyed our dinner together.
We walked in at 5:05 with no reservation and were told there was a two hour wait for a party of three. There was literally one party of four waiting. The restaurant was at most half full. So I logged in and made a reservation for 5:15. When I told the hostess we now had a reservation for 5:15, she made a sour face and walked to the back to talk to a manager (I assume). She finally came back and told us that since we had just made the reservation we would still have to wait at least an hour. So I said fine and we sat down. People with reservations at 5:30 and 6:00 were seated over the next 15-20 minutes. At about 5:35 we were told it would be at least 6:15 for a table. We were hilariously seated about 3 minutes later at 5:38 when what I think is a manager came out and asked the hostess why there were parties with reservations waiting. They whispered back and forth about us for a minute and then smiled and seated us. Service was slow even after we were seated (it was over 30 minutes to get a garlic bread appetizer) and as we left at 7:00 the restaurant was still practically empty (maybe half full) but there were probably 30 people crammed into the small waiting area waiting to be seated. It was pretty clear they were telling people there was a two hour wait to make them look busier than they were or to encourage people to not wait. Maybe they were trying to make sure tables were clear for the mess of 7:00 reservations they were forcing to wait, but we would have been out by 6:30 if they had just seated us when we initially walked in or honored the 5:15 reservation they were still accepting. Probably the last time I eat at a Buca di Beppo, especially now that the superior Florence location appears to be closed.
Over priced for what you get.
Overall experience was great! Took awhile to get our food, the Manager was very helpful and took money off our bill! Great food very large portions.
It was a great time to spend with family for Mothers Day. So glad we made the reservations. Thanks for great food and good service.
What would have otherwise been a nice Mother's Day lunch with family was ruined within seconds of entering the restaurant due to an incredibly rude hostess. Upon checking in, the hostess very rudely proclaimed "Just so that you know, we have another reservation that will be checking in for your table at 2:30, so keep that in mind as you are eating." I was flabbergasted at this comment. It is not like we showed up late for our reservation (we were actually 5 minutes early), and there was no reason for the very rude hostess to start off our meal by setting the tone that our business was not valued, our time should not be enjoyed, and we should be more worried about eating quickly than enjoying the Mother's Day meal we had reserved. Unfortunately because our lunch started in this tone, we had a hard time enjoying our experience at the restaurant.
I hope the restaurant considers that any employee who is rude to customers should never be placed in a customer service-oriented position. Further, if the restaurant books diners so close together that they cannot accommodate normal sitting times, that burden should not be placed on diners who are spending their money at their establishments. We will find an alternate location to host family gatherings in the future, a place where our patronage is appreciated.
We had a group of 17 and with the advanced reservation we were seated right away and treated great! The food was great and the atmosphere makes for a great place for a group!
Not enought help too 90 min to get simple pizza and salad.
Waitress too busy to answer questions.
Just made excuses about having a new manager.
Wont go back
We ordered the shrimp scampi and it was extremely bland. It was cooked in a butter sauce that should’ve had a lot more garlic and other seasoning.
Management and our server very attentive.
We had a great time and our server Neil was wonderful. Good was excellent!
Busy night. They were 15 mins past reservation time in seating us. Wait service was ok but time to get food was really long. Main course arrive about 1:15 after seating. Fortunately the food came out hot and was fairly tasty. Manager ended up comping our bottle of wine for the wait. Entire restaurant is getting a little dated. Decor is really old and the seats in our booth were well worn so we were sitting in a hole. Pretty average experience.
Was slightly disappointed that we arrived 10 mins early but weren’t seated for 20 mins- after others who had arrived after us.
Although they were extremely understaffed, our server was attentive and they took the garlic bread we ordered off the check due to the delay on our food. Food was delicious. Even with the delay we were still out the door in a reasonable amount of time. Price was great for the amount of food we ordered. I'd return. 😊👍🏻
Service was great. The food was amazing. They sat us at the specialty table in the kitchen!!
Hadn't been to Buca for a while so wanted to try again. Still nice atmosphere and service was friendly. Not a busy night so kitchen had time to focus on each order, however, our chicken dish was a little overdone. We mentioned to server who said she would pass along to kitchen. We appreciated that our chicken was hand pounded, but prefer our chicken less done. Our salad was very good. Nextt time, we'll try a pasta dish.
We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday. They were very accommodating with a special table for her and her friends while my husband and I had a nice table to ourselves elsewhere.
It was awesome! It was my husband’s birthday and they did everything to make it special! We had the kitchen table and it was a blast! Aaron was a rock star server. THANKS!!!!
Our server Rachel was fantastic!
Beer was flat. Apps were cold. Calamari like rubber. Fried cheese was hard and cold. Main courses were fine. Service was good. If I am
Spending over $300 for a family dinner I want everything to be good!
Good service and food.
