A menu that looks like frozen food took over 30 minutes. The food here is terrible and is not suitable for small people as it requires ordering at least 3 servings per menu. Two adults went and ordered pasta and lasagna, but the quantity was very large, tasteless and expensive. It is our mistake to decide to have dinner here. Please go there for a meal of at least 4 people. And keep in mind that the menu will take a long time. The worst restaurant experience in Cincy.

The food is way too expensive. A small bowl of spaghetti and sauce is $23 feeds 2/3 the chicken parm came out warm not hot and the $23 bowl of noodles came out 5 min later.

The food was terrific. Service as well. It did take me a minute to realize that the small feeds three and large five people. Otherwise, the only thing to say is that I would be back.
I did have the lasagna. others had the pappardelle sugo, and spicy chicken rigatoni. Plenty of food to share, a small feast! Can't say enough about the quality, very good.

Food was great, but we were a party of 11 sat at a long table, butted up to another big party table. Backs of our chairs were touching the table behind us...It was like being in a grade school cafeteria.

We had 14 people in our party. It was for our mom's 80th birthday celebration so we had a group from 4years old to 80 years old. We were seated right on time and our service and food was great. I am so happy I picked Buca di Beppo for our celebration. We will definitely go back again.

My only previous experience with Buca was reserving a space for a large party. So I understood why THAT visit was noisy. But this recent visit was for a date night and we were put in a regular room. There was a larger group seated in our section and my date and I could hear everything the very loud guests were discussing. We even joked that we should stop by their table when we left to make sure Shana was okay (poor thing, one woman was quite concerned about her) and to let them know we were impressed by the same woman's amazing achievements as a runner. Sigh.
But putting aside the one loud group who dominated the room, our service was AWFUL. Our waitress would be asked for a refill on a drink and 15 minutes later when she happened to be making her rounds of her other tables nearby, she would stop by and "offer" to get my date a refill as if it was a new idea the waitress had. We requested a to-go cup for the refill that was delivered as we were paying our bill and that took another 15 minutes to get. These are examples of the on-going issues we had; I won't list every single problem. Basically, we asked, waited 10-15 minutes for her to return, only to re-ask for the same thing, and then wait 10-15 minutes more for the request to be filled. The only time she became more attentive was when it came time for us to pay our bill. Then (as is the case with bad servers) suddenly we mattered... but requests still took too long to meet.
The food was edible but not especially tasty. The salmon I ordered was overcooked and bordering on dry. The only things that added flavor were the spinach and capers that came mushed in a tiny mound on the side of the plate. My date was told that their chicken parm didn't come with pasta, so that was ordered (at an extra fee). When not-our-waiter brought the pasta, he referred to it as "the children's spaghetti." If the pasta doesn't come with it and you have to order it with your meal, why would it be referred to this way?
I won't return.

Buca Di Beppo has some wonderful food and excellent ambiance. My first time there was a pretty unique experience.
The food can be a little pricey if you have less than 3 people in your party and only one person is paying. The portions are designed for 3 people at least to eat from, and are generous at that. Taking this into account the prices are fairly reasonable.
I highly recommend this place for great food and good service

Valentine’s Day evening was packed! We had reservations for 7:15 but didn’t get seated til around 7:45-7:50. Hosts were very busy and working quickly to get people seated. Food was delicious as always, and served fairly quickly considering the amount of customers. All the workers were very friendly and attentive. Great date night!

Made a reservation for 4 at 7pm....we got our table at 830, pretty sure reservations do not mean anything to this place. The food and service were good but the wait ruined everything. If your going to use open table and reservations in general, learn how to hold tables otherwise it was a waste of my life to go there.
They obviously overbooked at night the reservations were a mess 30 minutes behind. It was very obvious their staff was very overwhelmed and from the quality of the food that night their kitchen was way overwhelmed also one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at this restaurant

Wasn't a bad experience, but I definitely got the impression they were not prepared for the volume on Valentine's Day. We weren't seated until about 20 minutes after our reservation time. The table wasn't set and we had to ask for silverware three times after receiving our food. We were seated for almost half an hour before even getting our salad. We were very closely seated to two large party tables and had difficulty hearing each other. The food was good and the decor was interesting, so I'm sure I'll return at some point, but certainly not for a holiday or special event.
