   Disappointed! We thought we were going to be overwhelmed with food. My husband and I shared the family style rigatoni with meat sauce. We were told the small would be so plentiful that we would have leftovers. When the dish came out I actually laughed because it was what my husband would eat at home alone - and no, he is not a big man. The sauce was good. We also ordered a $10 meatball which was not worth it - not impressive at all. We asked the waiter why there was no bread and did we have to order it - he said they have it but normally don't serve it because it would be too much with the meal. We never got it. For what they charge for pasta (macaroni), they should be serving more or charging less.

   This was a fun family style Italian restaurant that served food family style.

   Honestly one of the worst and most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. Our waitress basically told us at the beginning that there were a lot of big parties coming in and that we should “get our orders together quickly” then disappeared for 20 minutes and brought our drinks all at different times. When she finally did take our order, she then said “I didn’t know you all wanted separate checks” even though no one had mentioned this yet, and seemed incredibly angry and exasperated and that’s when it took a turn for the worse. She seemed flustered and angry at us out of nowhere the entire rest of the meal. Then at the end she didn’t ask if we wanted dessert, handed us our checks, when we told her we were double charged for one entree she took our credit cards and was gone for another 15-20 minutes while we sat there uncomfortably. She came back and we found that the double charged entree was still charged. When we mentioned it she angrily grabbed the check and disappears again for another 10 minutes. She comes back hands us the check and doesn’t say anything about there being a possible pending charge or anything. It was my Birthday dinner and she muttered to one of my friends “sing happy Birthday for him” and walks away. A majority of us are in our party are servers as well and it pains me to leave a bad review because I know some nights it’s just a bad night and this particular server seemed to have a lot of good reviews so I don’t know what happened but it seems like we upset her somehow even though I don’t know what we did besides her just assuming we wanted separate checks. But as a server that’s up to us to keep track of what everyone ordered. And it was my Birthday celebration and she literally took the air out of the room every-time she got to the table. It was really an incredibly disappointing and uncomfortable meal and I’ve been a huge fan of Buca for most of my life, spending a lot of birthdays over the years there.

   Great ambience great food service was so so, but it did seem to take a little longer than most places to get your food even when I ordered a dessert something that shouldn’t have taken more than five minutes took 15 and we were halfway done eating him before I realized that it wasn’t even all there It was supposed to be sitting in a puddle of raspberry sauce and there was absolutely none on the plate and when I mentioned this to the server, she says oh I’m sorry. Can I bring you some on the side but by that time it was too late. It just would’ve been nice to get what you ordered to come out the way it was supposed to and not have to ask for it other than that the food was awesome and we will be going back again.

   Was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. Seems things have changed since before Covid. Service was fair. Had lunch portions of chicken parmigiana and spaghetti and meatball. The best part of the meal was the meatball and our side salads. I think the chicken was a pressed patty and not a real chicken breast. Restaurant was clean and seating upon arrival was prompt and friendly.

   My husband and I have been to Buca on numerous occasions. This time we took some friends with us who had never been to Buca and had never heard of them. Our server was Audrey, who we had requested. She is fantastic. A real ball of energy. Our friends were very impressed with her. She remembered the orders, without being reminded. The food was plentiful and very good. Altogether everyone had a great time.

   Awesome, delicious food. Huuuge portions of food; great if you plan to share but not so great if your party has different selections. Service was great. I expected more from the "wine room" but all good. The only disappointment was that they had no time glasses.!
