Pleasant in every way
its in the mall...
It would have been so simple to state that this location is in the mall, and that the food was mall food court level.
This was a horrible meal. The waiter was nice but was akward and could not remember to bring water or plates for our apptizers. The portions are large, but the food was bad so we had lots of bad food.
Will never go back. After all in the mall shojuld have gotten a dog on a stick.
Food was mediocre at best. Wait staff kept forgetting us. Bartender couldnt keep up and kept loosing tickets. Our waiter had the personality of a wet mop. We will not be returning.
Our reservation time was honored and our table for 15 was ready when we arrived. The manager Justin stopped by to make sure things were going well. Our waiter was quick and attentive to the small kids at our table. I also watched the manager clear tables and Help serve! That’s great customer service. Excited to go back. Ps.. great for large groups!
Christmas Dinner. Just happy to find something open and someone willing to work on Christmas.
We are regulars, food and service are consistently great!
Great place for sharing. Relaxing environment that is not stuffy and allows for fun and food. Always a family go-to for us.
Made a reservation approx One week in advance for Christmas Eve dinner for myself and my two kids. Service was prompt and the restaurant was not busy.
Biggest complaint was very, very long wait, we waited longer for an appetizer than we typically wait for an entree. We ordered bruschetta and spaghetti and meatballs. This is an Italian restaurant, you know they have the sauce and noodles ready...so..what in the world?? Meal was fine. Not memorable in either good or bad way.
All plates are for 2-3 people very delicious food and desserts!!
Great family style food with several menu options. Have not tried the beverages nor wine list though.
Waiter was good. We really didn't need a lot of help. Bread was very ordinary. Caesar salad was a wilted disaster! Half of it was croutons! Really! Only a tiny amount of thick dressing. You had to look for it. The spaghetti was good, but didn't have the rosa sauce as we asked, just bits of tomato. They can't handle anything off the menu like a regular Italian restaurant. The chicken Parma which is usually fresh cooked, was not this time. It appeared to have been cooked beforehand and then put on a plate with a TINY amount of sauce and cheese. The top was crispy from the oven while the bottom was wet and soggy. It's hard to imagine how this place stays in business. We go for Friday dinner and it's empty with many, many unbussed tables. I guess wedding and special event parties keep this restaurant afloat.
Great food....great service
Second Terrible experience. We will not be going back. Too many disappointing things to explain.
We had ever dish used in front of us until we walked out. Not our best dining experience. Questionable if we would return.
This BUCA IS THE WORST and I will never go back, I don't know why this location has not been shut down. The management must all be on drugs or something, they don't have the proper staff and obviously don't know what there doing, I have never been to a Buca de Bepo where they run out of peas for the chicken carbonara and don't even address that there out of an Ingredient and it will be missing the (peas) etc.
Also when we arriving we literally had to hunt down a staff member to get a table, and it's just something that I would never have had to do at any of the Buca's Resturants, And I have been to a lot of there locations.
DEAR WHO EVERY READS THIS PLEASE TRUST MY ADVISE THIS IS NOT GOING TO BE THE SAME BUCA EXPERIENCE THAT YOU KNOW AND LOVE. READ ALL THE BAD REVIEWS ON YELP IF YOU DONT BELIVE ME THATS FINE. I HAVE BEEN TO BUCA AT LEAST 100 TIMES AND THIS IS NO LONGER A REAL BUCA IN MY BOOK.
You must get the Apple Gorgonzola Blue Cheese Salad! It is amazing! I want the recipe! Beyond this, order whatever you like - you'll probably be happy with it. Our party of 7 was pleased with all of our meals. And remember, they serve food family style (small sizes serving 2-3 people, large sizes serving 4-5 people). Thanks for a nice Easter Brunch!
Food was just so-so. Our Pasta was so dry we had to get another bowl of sauce for it and the waiter was slower than molasses.
Food was amazing! But service was so slow I may not go back to this location.
I made a reservation for 7pm on Valentine's Day. Showed up at 7. The couple in front of us had a reservation for 7:15. They took them back to their table. We are standing there. The host helped the couple behind us, and took them to a table in a nice quiet area in the restaurant. I asked "I'm sorry, are we waiting on a table?" To which the reply was, "someone is still sitting at your table, they're running a little longer than expected." Wait, are you telling me your reservations have assigned seating, and even though I made a specific reservation, I have to wait, and everyone else can be sat before me?
When were finally sat, we were taken back to what I assume is the overflow room. Young kids, and large parties, very noisy. Little decoration on the wall, unlike Every other room in the restaurant. The whole room is run by 2 waiters. Maybe 12 tables. I'm not going to rag on our waiter, he wasn't the best, but I feel he was spread thin. Not his fault. We placed our order, and 1 hour and 30 minutes later he tells us it would just be 5 or 10 more minutes. It was more like 20 to 30. I believe the order got lost, and it was only realized the moment he said it would be out soon.
Our food comes out. Alfredo sauce was very thin, but the chicken was far worse. While it was cooked all of the way through, there was absolutely no seasoning. No grill or searing marks. It was the plainest chicken I have ever seen. Almost as if it were cooked in a boiler. It's what you would expect from someone that doesn't know how to cook. I never asked for it to be taken off of the bill, because I just wanted out of there. Absolutely the worst idea I have had for Valentine's, and it was rather embarrassing for me.
Mediocre food. I wasn't a fan of the bruschetta or the fetucinne alfredo. The baked ziti was pretty good. The service was ok. It wasn't busy and we had no problem getting a table.
There was nothing special to warrant a revisit.
Waiter was rude and smelled so bad like smoke.
Service was slow. Portions were good. Tables were too close together. We requested a quiet table in the corner but was told that was reserved for larger groups. Nobody was ever seated at that table while we were there. The group that sat next to us were loud and discourteous. They stood close to our table and talked and talked and talked. My husband and I wanted a quiet Christmas Dinner but was very disappointed.
The food was average, but do not order the Tiramisu - you will be very disappointed.
Ordered a drink and a water and told the waiter I would like to order appetizer never got the water never came back for the order of the appetizer so we paid our bill and left
We went for Thanks Giving diner and they were out of turkey. So we were disappointed. Portions are to large. Food was average...
We went for thanksgiving in 2016 no it was good
We opted for the thanksgiving feast special on Thanksgiving Day for family get together 12 people. The food was good, no issues there. The portion sizes were extremely disappointing. The amount brought out family style was supposed to feed all 12 (without refills). As an example, when we served mashed potatoes it amounted to heaping tablespoon per person's plate. Had to make a big deal to get more potatoes and turkey to make a reasonable serving per person. We did get more food but we're told by server that we were taking food from other guest coming later as they only make so much thanksgiving food! The other issue is there were no substitutes for dessert and we had several that don't like pumpkin pie. Bucca does good Italian food but I recommend avoiding Thanksgiving meal.
The service was terrible. Our food was cold and late. The bartender was the only one actively doing his job well -he pitched in and helped the server.
I was embarrassed that I recommended the location.Other cities have been wonderful.
The food is always first-rate! The service is always disorganized and inadequate. If you can focus on the food and not on the waiters, you'll love this place. Love the chicken parmigiana!
Lawrence was our waiter and did a fabulous job!! We all chipped in and gave him more than a 20% tip because he went beyond the call of duty with his excellent service.
Perfect birthday celebration. We loved the chicken Parma. Celebration Cake and cannoli topped it off.
Portion sizes are important because a "small size" dish, serves two people.
We were two and ordered a small Antipasto Chopped Salad and a small Lasagna. Both were excellent. The white sangria was very good
Staff were friendly and our server was attentive.
Looking forward to a second visit.
Outstanding experience! Got the Kitchen Table. A real treat for our Mother's Day celebration.
Disappointed that they were out of calamari when ordering appetizers. The temperature was a bit warm in the room we were in. The food was a bit bland. But because we were celebrating, our party still enjoyed the evening.
Our server did not need to complain as much as he did about being sat. Had he remained quiet and done his job, no one would have ever noticed. The restaurant was not that busy and aside from his complaining, his service was on point.
Sadly, I do not understand how with 8 empty tables AND reservations, we were still made to wait for our table....
We went and didn't realize you order one entree for the entire family. That each person of your party doesn't order for themselves. The waitress was annoying and judgmental. And not very friendly.
Incredible spaghetti and meatballs! Also recommend the chicken parmigiana. Our waiter this time was very good. The food is always excellent here. If you like great Italian, give it a try.
This place is EXTREMELY over priced! They only have 'family style' servings, so if you are on a date, you have to decide what to share or spend $20-$30 a plate. The food was VERY sub par, and tasted like school food, at best.
Our waiter was the worst part of the evening. We ordered a bottle of wine and he brings us tiny water glasses instead of wine glasses. We had to ask for wine glasses. He tried to make jokes about everything, and some of them were very uncomfortable. Very immature. He also hovered behind me several times, I guess to stand between my husband and I - instead of standing in front of my husband and I -but we both had to twist and turn our heads to see him then. Very odd.
Atmosphere was very uncomfortable. It was extremely cold in the restaurant. The music was quite loud, and I practically had to yell at my husband the whole time just so he could hear me.
Save your time and money - DO NOT EAT HERE. Go to Maggiano's instead for half the price, and 100 times the class. Olive Garden would even be a better choice....
