We had originally wanted to got to Buca in downtown Indy after a concert, but they were booked, decide to go to Castleton location instead. The overall experience here was a bit "lower" than the typical experience downtown Indy... Seating/front desk waitress was not very attentive nor friendly, and the table experience left a bit to be desired. Nearby table clearer sounded like he was throwing the dishes in his tub (he had to talk quite loud for a while), waitress was pretty quick about getting order, but forgot plates to use with garlic bread appetizer and a couple table settings, forgot to refill water after we asked, got the portion size of one of the entrees wrong. The Apple gorgonzola salad was served without any gorgonzola cheese, and the chicken parm was very dry/seemed overcooked.. Considering the $210 spent for 7 people, not quite up to par. Otherwise food was good and service/atmosphere OK. Sorry to leave a downer review, I normally hate to criticize, but this time I think there should be some improvements...

I thought the restaurant looked a bit dirty . We had a $10 coupon for joining their app. They said we couldn’t use it since we had signed up for it that day. The food was not nearly as good as it used to be and it was very expensive for what we got. We got the shells and cream sauce for 2-3 people. There were five shells. If there would have been 3 people they would have only gotten one shell.???? $30 for five pasta shells is expensive. We deleted the app and won’t be back to use the $10 coupon.

We were celebrating my Mother’s 70th birthday. The waitress was horrible. I had to get our own plates and we had to ask several times where the drinks were. She was not attentive or present.

Waited 20 min for someone to notice us then another 15 to be seated. Not busy at all. Waited 10 give drink orders. Another 20 min to get food order. Chicken parmesan burnt. Rest food was okay. Was disappointing.

We had a great evening dinner at Buca. We had a large party of 11 and had great service. Never had to wait long for the table or our food. Best dinner service for a crowd that we have had in quite a while. The server was very attentive and didn’t miss anything. We would definitely return.

This location is horrible. The service was horrible the waitress was very disrespectful and rude and she had no sense of making sure we were taking care of with refills of water and sodas. The food was lacking sauce and was cold and when asked for extra sauce because it was dry we was told it would be extra.

We asked for the Pope Room since we had 14 people. When we got there we were told they couldnt accommodate this since there was only one server that day. The next party that came into the restaurant was sat in the Pope Room and waited on with no issues. Disappointing. They were out of several items making it difficult to order what we wanted.

Room was physically good. Our reservation was for 12 people at 5:30 pm. Very slow service! Children were tasked to maintain their patience. Waitress was absolutely frazzled and sometimes made negative comments to and about the staff. This didn’t help our celebration. We could not order one entree from the menu because we were told the kitchen was out. Food was average, some items did not taste homemade. Disappointed in this restaurant.

Our valentines meal was ruined. We had a reservation for 6:30. We arrived on time. We were not greeted by the host at the front door until 6:50. The hast said just a minute. Then 10 minutes later my wife walked back to the bar to ask if we could be seated. The bartender said cant you see we are busy. The restaurant was empty other than one decent sized party in the back. The host sat us and after about 10 minutes of sitting at a table the server walk by and mumbles under his breath swear words about the host should not have sat us because they are too busy. It ruined my 6 year old daughters valentines that we had to get up and leave after 30-40 minutes of being treated like complete trash.

The food was very expensive!! Get nothing with your entree!! Everything designed for 3 people. We will not be going back. We go out every Friday and Saturday nights. We had hoped we had found a new restaurant. Sadly, we will not return.

Our server was very good, he was new so he didn't know the menu very well but he was very fun, up beat and attentive. He seemed to enjoy working there 🙂 The food was okay. Atmosphere of the restaurant is fun with all the decorations and old pictures. The very best part was enjoying a sit down dinner and chatting with my family.

We’ve eaten a Buca di Beppo many time before, however the service we received this time was terrible. We were celebrating a birthday so it was a special occasion. We also had a reservation. We were seated promptly. It took 15 minutes for our our waiter to arrive. He took our drinks, appetizers, salad and food order and we didn’t see him again until our appetizers, salad and food arrived all at the same time 30-40 minutes later. He still didn’t bring our drinks. He had to go get those after he brought our food. Then we didn’t see him again until he brought our check. He didn’t offer us refills. We had helped ourselves to some take out containers that were stacked on the table nearby. He never acknowledged the birthday celebration although it was mentioned when we made the reservation. He was very disconnected and distracted as he was only at our table 3 times. The customer service was lacking. I did notice the waiter helping the table next to us seemed wonderful. He was busy but appeared attentive to the tables he served. I heard him introduce himself as TJ. I’d recommend TJ based upon what I saw. I would never recommend our waiter. The service from our waiter makes me never want to return!

Everything just seemed like an afterthought. The restaurant wasn’t super busy but the service was really slow. I also put a note in my reservation that it was my twin sons’ birthday. Nothing really said or done. I bring my boys to Buca every year on my birthday, but this year didn’t really feel that special. No one was unfriendly, but we didn’t feel super welcome either. The staff was going through the motions of running a restaurant, but it didn’t feel like their overall heart was in it, if that makes sense.

The food was per usual, the service was definitely lacking at our meal. It took rather long to get anything served and many things, like our drinks, took 20-30 minutes to get to our table. I wouldn’t usually make much of a comment, but every table around us was served more quickly.
