Always a great meal with great service!
Food was definitely not worth the price point. We attempted the trio with green salad, chicken parm and green beans. The chicken was really *really* thin with tons of breading and very little sauce. If it weren't so dry, I might not have minded the lack of sauce. There was little dressing on the salad and the green beans were really oily. Buca is definitely over priced for the quality of food you receive. The pasta does not taste remotely fresh so to be charged those prices for dried out pasta thrown into a pot, it's a bit unsettling. I pay less for fresh pasta at other restaurants. The server was great, very attentive. I had no problem tipping him 30%
Buca di Beppo is a restaurant chain; however, no matter which Buca I visit I'm assured of the same, great taste. A great family-style experience, and if you want a quick lunch they have a nice lunch menu too. I LOVE the meatballs, and all of the kinds of pasta (although you'd better come with a big appetite!). The service is good too.
Very overpriced for what you get - especially the bar. I was shocked to see a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc was $15 when you can buy an entire bottle at the store for under $10. The full bottle was over $50. I know restaurants mark up alcohol, but I felt this was insulting.
Our nearly $40 spaghetti and meat balls was sitting in about an inch of water at the bottom. It is really so simple to drain the pasta completely.
When we were there the restaurant was not playing the fun, Italian music we have known for at least 20 years. We didn't hear one Italian song play during the two hours we were there.
It was a very disappointing dining experience.
The service was horrendous. It took an hour for food to come out, even with reservations. Every table was demanding comps because of inexcusable delays with food. Waiters were telling everyone that it was due to so many large banquets that the regular tables just had to wait it out. It was the worst management of a restaurant I’d ever experienced.
We did not get our food for 2 hours. The waiter was not helpful finding out why our food was taking so long. It turned out one of the chefs did not show up on Saturday and the kitchen was short staffed. We did go on a Saturday and they were busy but I have been here before with minimal issues. The apple gargonzola salad was not crisp and it seemed like the dressing was left on the salad too long. We did have a great conversation between us 4 ladies but we only had a salad and bread for the 2 hours. Our bill was comp'ed and we did not have to pay for the pasta when it finally arrived 2 hours later or the salad, only the alcohol. I would still recommend this restaurant since they have delicious food.
It was my cousin’s 70th birthday. The staff came over and made a big fuss over her with the candelabra. She was elated.
We had the egg plant Parmesan as usual and mixed green salad. It was wonderful.
Our server was really great. I wish I remembered his name.
Great family fun location!
Reservation was on time. Service was great. We love their spaghetti and meatballs and splurged on the gigantic brownie sundae. Definitely going back soon.
Their waiters are wonderful and professional. However, their manager/ host cancel our reservation instead of checking us into the system, and also try not to give their lunch menu to their customers, so that the customer think they can only order from the dinner menu. Only you ask for the lunch menu, then they give it you.
Both the ambiance and the food was good as always
We were there to celebrate my son’s 40th bday. The singing was nice and not overdone. We had a group of 9 and all left more than satisfied!
Service was well done, Food was wonderful. I ordered way too much for the group and would have liked to see a note on the bill about the group gratuity when I turned over my cc for payment.
Pizza is the best!
Had reservations for 5 people to celebrate my two sons’ birthdays at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. We were shown to our table promptly but there were only chairs for 2 people. After 10 minutes, finally got chairs. Bread and butter came several minutes later but no napkins and utensils. Tried flagging down anyone who could be our server but to no avail. Finally I wandered around the back to help myself to utensils, napkins and water. Someone asked me what I needed. Finally got napkins, utensils, water delivered. Then, still no server to take our order but many employees kept walking by our table to serve or clean other tables around us. Finally at around 8:10pm, I grabbed the next guy who passed by and insisted that he take our order, which he did. Funny enough, at that point our real server came over and I complete ignored her and focused on the guy who started to take our order. He gave us great service and we tipped him well. But overall this birthday dinner for our two sons was very frustrating. It took roughly 40 minutes from when we were shown to our table (not seated) to have our order taken.
Horrible experience. Staff was rude and not attentive. We had reservations at 6:00pm, finally at 6:20pm I asked if there was a problem with our reservation, I was told it was due to a staff shift change at 6:30pm. Finally seated at 6:20pm, in an overcrowded section, while other booths were open. We asked for a different booth but we're told no, there wasn't any available booth.
We sat and reflected how we were treated and decided to leave. We will not go back to Buca di Beppo
Good for groups but not for senior dates. Too much food for us.
The food was really good but the service was slow. We waited about 5 min a table when we had a reservation only to see the restaurant was practically empty. The portion was small considering the price and that it was supposed to be shared.
I could tell that they were short staffed, our server was nice but I could tell he was overwhelmed
My past experiences with this restaurant have been much better than last weekend. Service was extremely slow, the food arrived lukewarm and they handed us the check before we could ask for dessert. The food wasn't as good as in the past but its hard to tell because of the sub-optimal food temperature.
We had a group of 12 celebrating a birthday.
We (a party of 10) had to wait half an hour to be seated despite having reservations. What’s the point of using the app?
Good Quality Food
Despite the reservation we had to wait 25 mins to be seated !
We had 7 in our group for an elder birthday. The portions, even the small size entrees were plenty for everyone. Good appetizers, went well with the bread & balsamic vinegar oil. Everybody was satisfied & happy.
Food server and experience was good, but our hostess, she was very rude!
Always a good meal and great service!
Waitress wasn’t good
Our reservation was not in their system so we had to take our party elsewhere
I took my wife here for Thanksgiving and ordered the Thanksgiving meal. We were disappointed from the start, as coming in to the restaurant the employees seemed like they cared less about being there and didn't greet us and just asked if they cold help us. I provided my name and they told us to have a seat and wait, even though nobody else was there and employees were just standing around. When we were seated there were plenty of open seats and our server seemed new and nervous.
When we received the food, which for the special meal, it cost $75 with tax, it was not very much food like you normally receive with the normal meals. The food was also very bland and had no good taste.
Overall we were not happy with the staff's attitude, the amount and quality of the food given the price. I don't think we will not be coming back here and will go to another Buca restaurant.
Our table was ready on time. Our server was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. We had a spot where we could hear one and other talk which was great as we were siblings that had not seen each other for over a month and wanted to spend time together and catch up. The sangria drinks were great.
I made an online reservation and was seated in the bar area for people who didn’t have a reservation. I was extremely disappointed. It was the first time that my girlfriend had ever been to Buca’s. The service in the bar area sucked. My girlfriend was shocked that I even tipped the waiter. He brought the check and never did ask if we wanted dessert. I would say if they were busy that it might have matter however this was at 5pm on a Friday with an almost empty restaurant. After bringing the food, we didn’t see him again until he brought the check. No one checked on us to see how we were enjoying the meal. It is a shame because I have been to plenty of different Buca’s and this one is the worst one ever. I will not be back to this one
This restaurant had the best customer service, friendly on-time server, food came out quickly, and everything was great. This was so important since this was my daughter's 13th birthday dinner and we needed to get in and out to the next activity. Thanks again!!
Our experience at this location has always been outstanding. The staff is very friendly. We had asked for a dish that Buca Di Beppo no longer carries on their menu. It was offered 2yrs ago for a limited time only. The dish is called "chicken inferno'. When we asked for it our server told us its no longer available but he went and spoke to the chefs. Luckily the chef knew the recipe and agreed to make it for us. I wish they would keep this dish permanently on the menu. The small plate comes with 3 pieces of chicken with fire-roasted tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers, red and
green bell peppers, yellow onions and spicy rosa sauce. This has been our fav so far, it was prepared freshly and tasted just as good as it looked.
Re visited after a 10 year absence and will never return. This establishment at the bottom line is over priced and the food was not acceptable. To the point, I ordered Chicken Marsala that tasted like Chinese Orange Chicken. The chicken itself was lightly battered and smothered with a thick brown sauce overly blended with a sugary substance which certainly was not a sweet Marsala wine or sherry. I advised the server of my displeasure and it was like talking to the wall.
This restaurant prides itself on affordable family style service and portions. When you consider the cost of adding vegetables and a starch to the entrée the pricing moves into a higher category and the quality remains the same. You will well be advised to chose another restaurant for a decent meal.
Mother's Day Lunch
Great for midweek dinner date! Food was great. Service was equally great. Was a very pleasant experience.
We always love coming here! Never a disappointment.
Food is always good! Service is also good.
We chose Buca for a last family dinner before my son and his family moved to Idaho from California. We had children ages ranging from 3 months to 7 years. The service was very slow, I bussed the table myself, the bathrooms were filthy. My daughter-in-law couldn't take 3 year old in to use facilities . My husband who is Italian says we will never come back.
As always, the food at Buca di Beppo was outstanding and we had leftovers for another day. The server was friendly and very good as well. The antipasto salad is scrumptious and the large easily serves 6. My son loves the prisciutto stuffed chicken and the chicken carbonara was a big hit too. This is a great place for a group and provides an opportunity to try different dishes. Will definitely return!
