Been here many times. Love the atmosphere. The service is great and the food is excellent too. The portion sizes are for several people or you can just take the leftovers home for several meals at home. My one disappointment is that the changed the music from the old classic Italian songs sung by the great singer such as Dean Martin,Perry Como, etc. and now they play music from the 50's and 60's and it isn't even Italian based music. Anyway,I would recommend this place if you like family style eating.
Excellent mozzarella caprese. Recommend the larger portion (serves 5) rather than the small (serves 2-3) for only $5 more. Chicken saltimbocca was delicious, although we had ordered the veal. Manager came over to apologize but we loved the chicken so no problem. We shared dessert which was excellent. Definitely a great dining experience with family !
While the food was excellent, since we did not book the reservation through their birthday link, there was no cake nor a single dessert given to the birthday girl. This was very disappointing as we told the hostess upon seating that it was my mothers 86th birthday. There is no restaurant I've ever gone to that couldn't stick a candle into something and sing happy birthday. This was not an easy me pensive meal at over $200 for six weeks ncluding tip.
Sooooo, while we may be back, it won't be as often as we would have come had we been treated better.
Not as charismatic or charming as the recently closed Wellington location. Perhaps it was the section where we were sat. Service was ok. I asked to sample their house red and was told they had to check to see if they had any. I was brought a sip on a drinking glass even though I was accompanied by my spouse, so we both had to share the sample.
The kids ordered a Margherita pizza and there was barely any cheese on it.
I give it 3 out of 5 stars
We opted for Buca because it was a last minute decision to go our for dinner. We would have been better off staying home. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated quickly. It was down hill from there. Our server was MIA for most of the meal and when we did see her, she was pleasant but completely incapable of providing even the most basic good service. Repeated requests for the first complete round of beverages took 20 minutes, food arrived sporadically, extra sauce never arrived although promised a few times. Not heading back too soon.
Wow in Palm Beach we lost one Bucca in Wellington, so this was great to experience it close by in Boynton Beach, what a place. Great service , delicious food i mean great Fettuccine, Spicy Past with Chicken was good too. But the lasagna , what a gem eat it hot or cold the next day wow but beware it is hugeeeeee! The manicotttis are huge and very tasty, great sauce. Oh The Cheese bread wow! yummmmm Good wine list and great Sangria, try the after dinner drinks. The dessert wow perfect. Big huge chocolate slice yummmmmm They have done it again in Bucca di Peppo , the basement is back!!
My family and I tried Buca for the first time in this location and it was awful. We have been to the location in Naples, FL many times and love it. The pasta came out soggy and was sent back to be remade. The kids food came out mushy and gross and the pasta with chicken that we ordered was not made correctly with the right sauce. I would not recommend nor would we ever go back. Yuck.
My kids and I took my husband to dinner here for Father's Day. The restaurant wasn't busy as we went at 3pm. The ambiance was quiet so we could hear each other speak and could also hear the Italian music playing in the background. We ordered the chicken parmesan and stuffed shells with a Bianca pizza as an appetizer. All were fantastic. Our server was very friendly without being overly attentive. He was there when we needed him. Overall, very satisfied and will definitely go there again for any special occasion that we are celebrating.
the food was excellent / had chicken palm and ravioli
the chicken palm was the best
much better than the last few italian restaurants i have been too
the service was excellent
Cass our waiter did everything we expected / could not have wanted anything else
i highly recomend this reataurant
We were a party of four for Easter dinner. Dining area was clean and attractive. Our server was friendly and efficient. Our dinner were delicious, and we did not have to wait long between courses. Portions are large, so we had plently of leftovers! The only criticism would be the drinks were rather expensive, and really just "OK." We all agreed that we would come back again....I wan to try to their pizza!!
