Perfect spot for kids. Food was overall so-so, prepared well just don’t love their recipes I think.
Very noisy, service slow,
Pretty much what you’d expect at a casino based restaurant. Food was very average; drinks even less so. Service was fine, but again nothing exceptional. We chose the restaurant for convenience, but would choose another one if we had a do over.
Great evening with out of town family. As always way too much food but makes for delicious leftovers. David was a super waitperson.
There for over 1hour 30 min without getting our food.
It was just horrible all around.
The food is excellent! The waiters are great, the ambiance is ok. It’s a great getaway from the usual .
We love going to this restaurant whenever we are in Atlantic City.
The food was OK. We ordered a caprese salad and the tomatoes were horrible. The meatballs got mixed reviews from our party of 7 with the general consensus that they were very salty but OK. Chicken saltimbocca and the pizza were both fantastic.
Food was fair, noisy. Not at all like the other Buca we visited several years ago, no Pope decorations and large round tables. Atmosphere was lacking.
Bill the manager saved the day! We were having an awful experience with our waitress and Bill took action right away to ensure we were taken care of!
Had an Open Table reservation for 7:00, as did many others, and they were not able to seat us until closer to 7:30. The hostess and wait staff struggled to seat everyone, but our group and others were frustrated with the long wait despite having reservations. The food quality is fair at best, I was not impressed and think that Carmine's is far superior. The service was slow, although the servers were very nice and did what they could given the crowd. The question I have, is it was a Wednesday night during the summer, you know that is busy season, how are you not prepared? Anyway would not go back and would not recommend
Have never had a negative experience here. Food is pretty good, and the staff are polite and professional. Recommend.
Be warned: the portions are EXTREMELY LARGE! The food is decent, and we liked the atmosphere. Our waiter was nice. Good experience.
I visit A.C. several times a year & almost always visit this restaurants. Food is good and usually service is too. This time service lacked as it took appx. 30 mins for our drinks even after we were served our salad and bread. Waitress seemed overwhelmed and not into her job. We were celebrating my moms birthday and this left a negative taste on our dining experience.
The food was cold the server was so rough and just threw the straws at my grandkids and if we asked for a refill of soda she made a face. So please do not ever go there because I told the manager and she said she was going to give me $25.00 comp but never did.
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Waiter was friendly and food was delivered hot and not rushed. Been here a few times and never had a bad experience.
Food was really subpar. Pasta was 98% noodles and 2% shrimp and other stuff. We ended up leaving pounds of pasta uneaten. Service was sparse.
Have been here before and have never been disappointed. Food is good and have never felt rushed. Recommend.
Everything was subpar. Service was terrible, food had no taste, and a very loooong wait for just pasta. Wouldn’t go back.
Went for a birthday and had delicious food with my friends. Service was great and price wasn't bad at all.
The food is amazing and everyone that works there is very friendly.
Food was good , staff were unprofessional/ sloppy in appearance, service was very good
The food and service were outstanding. We had a reservation for 7 they had the table ready for us when we got there. Our waiter was outstanding had 2 small children that he paid special attention to. He also made sure that we didn't over order since it is family style.
Had a really great time.
favorite place to eat get the lasagna it’s my favorite thing on the menu
Should have known better than going here when we walked into Bally's and saw two strung out people laying in hallway off boardwalk entrance. Should have thought better of it by the smell that permeated from Ballys and how filthy the rugs were. Definitely realized it was a bad idea when we sat down and were given glasses of water that had brown substances on inside of glasses....dirty silverware wrapped in napkins and a table top that felt like someone poured maple syrup on it. As for the food, I cannot comment as we left without ordering. Don't waste your time going anywhere near that building let alone restaurants inside.
My husband and I enjoy Bucca. In the past we have loved the chicken parmigiana. This time we had the lasagna. It was good but could have used more sauce. It was a bit dry.
It was the worst.
In the past I've commented on good, fair & poor food/service and it appears that nothing is done about it. I've asked to be contacted about my experiences either by email or phone but I never hear back from them. The experience we encountered at Buca Di Beppo on 08/06/2019 is an example and all I got was an email from Wayne at Caesars Entertaiment's customer service asking me to send him some personal information which I did and now I'm left hanging - no response. I also called the customer service department and all I got was an apology for what we experienced and was told that the complaint would be sent to "upper management". This is what I'm told whenever I verbally call with a good experience or a bad one.
Food was delicious. However, the service was slow. I asked for a coffee with Kahula and Baileys. The coffee cost 20 dollars. Very pricy!
It was nothing really special, it was fine. We were kind of in a hurry, so thought it might be faster than other options. Service was very good, but I really felt like the food was out of a box. The pasta was underdone and the sausage had a strange, very soft texture. The bread was good though. :o)
The food was amazing. It’s a really nice place to go to with a group of people because it is family style.
The food here is subpar to say the least. The fried calamari size large looked like it was for 2 people. Wayy over prices for the amount you get. The pasta and vodka sauce in size small could feed an army but the sauce was full of garlic and did not taste like traditional sauce at all considering the pasta was dry. When asked for a side of sauce to put on the pasta it was confirmed it was not vodka sauce. It was inedible. The small chicken parmigiana was okay. Our friends got the make your own pasta with garlic and oil and it was pasta drenched in oil. Looked unappealing. We only ate here because we couldn't make a 5 o'clock reservation at Carmines. It was a huge mistake. Never Ever Again! Oh and the tap beer (Peroni) couldn't be consumed and needed to go back! The guys in our party drank bottled beer because it tasted as if the tap was dirty. Couldn't believe how incredibly off the restaurant was!!
This was the worst meal of a 10 day trip around the east coast That included everything from diners to chains to award winning restaurants. The service sucked they forgot parts of our meal the manager was called and seemed to barely care about what happened and her solution was to just make us wait another 15 minutes while they remade things. It was beyond a waste so do yourself a favor and go to anywhere in the Tropicana or just get a corn dog on the boardwalk
Great Service. Great Food. Great Portions.
Took server 30 minutes to get us drinks before ordering. When we paid the bill we had gift cards. Bill was $291, paid with 3 $100 gift cards. Was told I could not get the remainder $9 back on my gift card and the only way was to order something else. Ordered a desert to go to make up for the balance on the card. Was then told everyone had left for the night and we couldn’t get that either. Was offered two pieces of fudge or cookies to compensate for the $9. Really!! Literally asked the waiter if we were being punked
Just mediocre across the board.
For families and friends looking for a great dining experience in AC, they should check out Buca di Beppo at Bally's. First and foremost, our waiter Steve was wonderful. He was polite and very helpful when we were looking for a recommendation. The food was fresh, abundant and delicious!
Always enjoy food ar Buca at Ballys Atlantic City. Best to order small portions. We were 7 and we ordered several items and it was perfect. Lemon chicken is really good and so are Apple Gorgonzola salad and ravioli.
The food was really good and you do get a lot for your money however it's just my husband and I, we don't like the same food so we have to order separate meals. We even have to order our own salad which is way to much for one person. Wish they'd change the menu so you can order single size portions as everyone doesn't travel "family size". Make sure you don't sit under the speaker as the music is LOUD. Great music but a bit loud.
