Was very upset no gluten free pasta like in the past. We had party of 10. 9 left stuffed one hungry, me. I am not gluten free by choice. I will return when GF pasta is there
We are really happy with the service this time.
We had family got together on Christmas Eve last year, the food was bad and we found the hair in the dish.
We also had another family got together this time. Our waiter was good, all the food came in right taste.
All our family members are happy that night.
Food is really good, authentic.
Very well decorated, feels like a real Italian restaurant from North East.
Service was terrible, cadence to the meal was way off, food was ok but thinking Olive Garden would have been better overall. And I am no fan of Olive Garden!
Despite the reservation we had we waited 20 minutes for our table. Our server started out great but would disappear for crazy amount of time.
Water glasses were left empty, table was not cleared between courses, it was truly sad.
We were a large group of 14 and they had only one server so he did his best but service was not good. We had to ask remind just about everything drinks refills water tea soda bread etc. I blame the mgr for not properly staffing a 14 top and not the wait staff. But the food was good and we still had a great time.
Staff is super friendly. Service is a little slow but you can tell everything is prepared when ordered. Super fresh Ingredients and very tasty. It was my first time with the family and there was something for everyone . Also the Sangria was spectacular . I don’t hesitate recommending this restaurant !! We went to the North Mopac location .
Loved that y’all have a gluten free menu. Eating gluten free Italian can be close to impossible.
I made a reservation for Christmas Day via Open Table. Something in me said to call the restaurant to confirm. Oh, no, I was informed. They "thought" they had turned off Open Table reservations. They could not accommodate us. Are they always so disorganized, and is their customer service always this spotty?
We went Christmas night. We booked a reservation for 7 pm and due to the system not capping reservations, we did not get a table until after 8 pm. This resulted in frustration for us and everyone else there. The staff was great and given all the circumstances, I think they handled everything very well. I would recommend capping the reservations :).
It was Christmas day. Thankful for a place to eat but much confusion at the check in desk and the restaurant did not seem to be ready for the mass of customers. Wait was long even with reservation and service was quite slow. Not enough staff in the kitchen or on the floor. Food cold and took too long to get.
The food was awful. The chicken parm tasted like.it was a frozen dinner. I will not go back.
We went on christmas and it was very crowded we had reservations and still waited about 30 minutes for our table. The food came out lukewarm and the noodles were not done and the food was very bland . We feel they were trying to accommodate everyone as the wait was long and the food suffered. For $240 for our table I expected better food. Our waiter was awesome though. This was our first time and most likely we would not try it again.
We came there with our family for Christmas Dinner. It was 5pm, there were open booths around us. The service was terrible. It took at least 20 min for a cup of coffee. Our waiter was so slow and kept telling us his forgot our food was ready. It was not hot, and it took so long to get everything. We had kids that were Patient and waited and a baby too. We were so disappointed and were so excited about sharing this special restaurant with our family.
Our family during the Thanksgiving and Christmas have always (most of the time) went out to eat on these holidays - it avoids the hassles and worries of fixing a big meal and then all the clean up afterwards - we chose to eat out and enjoy and then go home and visit and not be burdened with the after meal clean-up. Plus our family is small - only five (5) of us and it just makes things simpler all around. Buca di Beppo met all of the requirements for a evening together during a holiday - THANKS! Great Food, Customer Service and Great Wait Staff.
Family with young crying child placed adjacent injured the experience. Thus, enjoyment reduced.
We were seated and then forced to move to a different table. The food took over an hour to come out
Kitchen incredibly slow, veal Marsala inedible, ran out of sugar to make sweet tea(server was actually waiting tables and making tea) table after us could not get meatballs because they were out. Won’t go back soon if at all. No wonder the place was empty.
I really liked the chicken parm. I always seem to have a good experience here.
Austin is an awesome guy! Great service! All the staff are super friendly! :)
Waitress was clueless. Had to get up and grab our own plates, lemons requested - no lemons brought, had to catch her attention to refill our drinks, etc. She was rushing us and pressuring us to order but didn't take care of us after we did.
Server was amazing. Food is always amazing.
Food is good, but service is exceedingly slow. Take the "for two" comments on most meal seriously. Tons of food!
It was amazing! Their meatballs are huge and the pasta soooo good! Love the family serving size portions and atmosphere.
It was awesome
We always enjoy eating here. The food is good, service is good and the atmosphere is appraling. The AC was on high and the room was very cold this time.
Very quiet on a Monday evening. Server was very attentive. No issues using our coupon and gift card.
Excelent , great food ! It was my second time and I really enjoyed! Great for family and friends. And a great service and staff
Thanks to Marcus !
Perfect for large group dinners
One of three entrees ordered was 12-15 minutes late and the birthday boy (who picked the restaurant) had to wait and watch the rest of us eat before our entrees got cold. It was not a good experience. Also, I ordered a prossecco from the bar and it was flat; the bartender did open a new bottle and replaced the initial pour. The entree I ordered (Shrimp Florentine) was delicious.
Was looking forward to the renovated version, walked in for our reservation, and wasn't greeted with a smile or even a "Welcome to...", just stared at. Then asked to wait for 15 minutes while the table was set up. Ordered dinner, process went well, and food was very good quality. Warning: the appetizer prices are family style cost without corresponding amount, like the calamari we ordered. Ended evening on a bad note, we sat waiting for the server to return to our table to end dinner service (by getting the bill, offering to box the family style amount leftovers, clear plates, etc) and sat and say. Asked for him and wasn't able to find the server at all. We sat at least 45 minutes looking at the table of cold food longer than the ordering and eating combined. Finally, my husband got up and did a search, from kitchen to bathroom, throughout the restaurant, to no avail. Server finally appeared, saying "sorry about that", making a dinner that was reserved for 3, one of them a kid, turn into an ordeal of 2 hours for a starter, salad and spaghetti and meatballs, family style.
Birthday for 16 and 17 year old grandsons
I loved that it felt so authentic. The service was fast and waiters were so nice.
Had great fun the the "Pope" room with my group of 13. Great food and excellent service!
We only went because there was no other Christmas day. Lol
Really bad food. Ice cream was tasteless. Brownie was stone cold. Terrible. Never again.
My husband and I had reservations at 7:15 on a Sunday night and were seated fairly quickly. It was at least 30 minutes before our waiter took our order. Around 8:30, our waiter informed us that another waiter had taken our entrees to another table but that our order was the chef's next priority. Our waiter was not apologetic - his attitude was like "not my fault". We finally received the bread we had asked for 3 times. Our food arrived about thirty minutes later, near 9:00 pm. Our waiter never offered to refill our drinks and ignored our attempts to get his attention. The food was okay - definitely not worth waiting for. We could have received better at a neighborhood restaurant for less money. We finally received our check around 9:30 and left.
The food is the only redeeming factor
They do not understand the concept of a reservation. We waited an hour past our time to get our table.
Once we did get our table we were ignored for another 15 min before we met our waitress.
All the food was excellent though. Which is a shame as I will never go back.
After having set reservations, it still took an extra 45 minutes before we were seated. Then it took another 30 minutes before a server appeared. I accidentally knocked over a glass of water, and our server laughed about it and one of my friends had to ask him to bring something to clean it up with while I was trying to hold back the water that hadn't already spilled off the table. The food was very good, but the overall experience was pretty disappointing.
Waited an hour past our reservation time; had run out of wine I wanted; expensive for uninspired food; very noisy - couldn't hear across the table (seated in the bar area). Attentive, pleasant waiter. Calm host despite huge waiting crowd.
Thank you for being open Christmas Day. You guys were a lifesaver! I know it was inconvenient for the staff but it was so appreciated.
My family and I were never offered water, neither did we receive service. We had made a reservation online and arrived 10 minutes early, however the restaurant was under staffed and the service was horrible. The manager apologized more than three times on several occasions, for both the lack of service and long wait time. Considering my employer had introduced Buca di Beppo to me and my family, I hoped for a decent experience. We will never return.
