I love the birthday deal they send to e-club members, $15 off your meal and a free birthday cake. They have some new things on he menu since I was there last and at always delicious. We had a large group sitting behind us, they came in after us and left before us and the difference in noise level was VERY noticeable. But that's what you get with family style dining in tight quarters. But overall I love Buca and will be back as usual.
We manage to go a few times a year and are never disappointed. It has been a few months since our last visit. Yet, the server remembered us. The service was friendly and the food was spectacular.
The service was very good. The food was OK, not exceptional; but not bad.
Always good food. Service was good. Always a bit loud but ok since we had our 1 year old with us
Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. My husband and I thought that the Apple Gorgonzola Salad was outstanding. We ordered the small, which was more than enough for 2 people, it may be enough for 4, if they are each just wanting a side salad. We brought the rest home, but it was not as good the next day. We also ordered the Veal Parmesan and a side of Fettuccine Alfredo. The veal was enough for 2 to have a big portion, or 3 or more smaller portions. My husband seemed to like it, but prefers a little more sauce. I tasted some, too and thought it was flavorful. The fettuccine was good and plenty for 2-3 people to have as a side. We enjoyed our evening out at Buca and would return. I wish we had one closer to us.
Always more food than you can eat. Great for large groups and perfect for our grandchildren. So much to look at. The salad is always good. Pastas and pizza were loved by all. The large meatball was also a big hit.
Great food! Great service. Will be back!
Service was poor, but likely because location was understaffed (day after Christmas). Spent over 2 hours in restaurant due to slow service - not good with 5 children in the party. Had to remind server of drink requests on multiple occasions; meatballs on child's plate were raw in the center - luckily a parent cut into them before the child ate any. Out of multiple items which caused us to alter menu selections. Since we were visiting family, we have no way to know if this was typical.
Great food and service!!!
Great experience!! We were out of town on Thanksgiving, and were very happy to have the option for our group to eat at Buca di Beppo. The food was EXCELLENT, the service was FANTASTIC, and the experience was just perfect!! We also ordered a Thanksgiving Feast to go, and were very satisfied with the to-go service and the food! Thanks, Buca di Beppo, for making our out of town Thanksgiving fun and tasty!!
My friend chose this restaurant to go to for his birthday. I had never been there. The experience is very different! Platters ordered are meant to be shared. The portions are big and the food is out of this world! The service was friendly and top notch! My family usually goes out for the New Year and I have already suggested this restaurant!
We had a party of four on a Sunday afternoon. The service was awful. We waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Our waiter was no help at all and virtually ignored us until we said - 'Where is our food'. He never checked with us or let us know what was going on. Finally a manager came over and apologized and said there was a large party and the kitchen was backed up. A family came in after we ordered and received their food and left before we had our entrees. The manager took off the price of the highest item and apologized for the delay. Paying less is nice but we would have preferred our food in a timely matter. My biggest criticism is for the waiter who did not communicate or keep us informed as to what was going on.
great place, great food and great service. I have gone to Buca's on many occasions with party size from 3 to 15 and never had a bad experience with food or service.
We enjoy Buca di Beppo in general and the food was great - and plenty! for our party of four hungry adults. Unfortunately, the people at the next table were loud and crude (something that Buca has no control over). We were offered to be reseated in a quieter area.
We requested the kitchen table, which is definitely one of the best ways to eat at the restaurant! It's so fun to be able to watch your food made fresh and then brought to your table hot and steaming. Portions are plentiful!
Food was excellent as usual!!! First time at this location. They did not disappoint!!!
Good service & food
Should have small portions as options, pasta.
Drinks are expensive for what is poured.
Awesome experience! We only had spaghetti & salad, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The salad had an option for gorgonzola & prosciutto, so I opted for the gorgonzola (on the side) with the dressing on the side to accommodate the differences in tastes/preferences between the two of us. Easily accomplished and well done.
The salad & spaghetti easily gave us both enough to eat, so dessert was out of the question. ...although I would have liked to continue listening to the music. That evening, the music was straight out of my childhood (in the mid-1960's) and putting a smile on my face for that. Thank you for a fine evening!
Fantastic wait staff. Very friendly and efficient.
Large menu to choose from. Serving sizes feed 2-3 or 4-6 people. Very nice and efficient servers. Fun atmosphere.
Always enjoy dining at Buca.
My family and I went to celebrate a Mother's Day dinner. The food was outstanding and our server Robyn was the best! As busy as they were, the staff handled us with friendliness and in a timely manner.
A group of six adults and a few children, It took 1hr to get the food out. Ne manager came out to apologize that the kitchen was taking a long time with the food. I ordered the Prosciutto stuff chicken and to my amazement there really wasn't any prosciutto but a small piece in the center. Now if your going to call your dish Prosciutto Stuff... YOU NEED TO PUT MORE THAN ONE SLICE.... poorly executed dish... It just so happen that the manager was passing by and ask us how was everything, I said, I am looking for my prosciutto and I can't find any, She smartly said it was in the middle of the chicken,,, like i wouldn't know that.. but the darn dish didn't have any, and she walk away and never came back. Poor Management Skills, apparently didn't want to deal it or doesn't know how to make things right.
Very large menu. Something for everyone. Fun family style dining.
Our server was great, was always checking if we needed anything, but not overbearing. Now to rate the food...what can I say....everything we ordered was delicious! The amount was so much we ended up taking a bag home. Was a great experience, don't hesitate give it a try, I'm sure you will love it!!
Veal parm was tough
Everything is served family style, which was kind of cool. I thought the menu was kind of expensive. It also wasn't terribly busy at all
We eat here whenever we are in town. great for birthdays, groups or just the family. Everyone is very friendly and the food is outstanding. Good wine and specialty drinks as well.
We had the salmon and it was fantastic. The service was on point, we had a few people checking in with us over the course of dinner to make sure things were satisfactory.
Busy New Years early dinner was not a good experience. Lukewarm dinner arrived before the bread and the appetizers.
Order was incomplete and waitstaff was running around crazy so we sat with half our meal and no drinks for so long that the meal was simply no longer worth eating.
Manager took off 25% and seemed genuinely sorry.
Just not the same as it was a few years ago, new owners are going to have to earn my business back now.
Buca di Peppo gives you great value for your money. You can share this wonderful food or have enough to take home for many more meals. We have never been disappointed.
The small portions were more than enough for four and very affordable. Also, our waitress was friendly. While the restaurant was not crowded at the time we ordered, it did take an extremely long time to bring out our food. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise, it was a very good meal!
Just a fun place to eat with great food !
Dined here on Thanksgiving Day. We had a choice of their regular Italian menu or their special holiday feast. We chose the holiday feast for 3, though there were only 2 of us. It had most of the traditional holiday foods, including the pumpkin pie, served family style. We had enough to bring home leftovers. The cost was not exhorbant for a holiday meal. We were able to eat, converse, relax and enjoy, without worry about prep and cleanup. Would definitely do this again. Only thing I missed that wasn't offered, were the sweet potatoes.
Food was very good, pizza was a bit burnt on one end, but I didn't mind it too much. Waitress didn't come around after taking our orders, only the food servers did. Waitress came back at the end just to ask for dessert and give us our bill.
We always pick Bucca's when someone in the family is celebrating a Birthday or other occasion with family and friends. There is no shortage of food and the variety is excellent. We always recommend dining at Bucca's when asked about Italian restaurants with really good food.
We love to do Sunday afternoon celebrations with our large family at Buca's. Everyone loves the food and the atmosphere. We have tons of leftovers, too!
The service was very slow on a night that there was virtually no one in the restaurant. This was the only disappointment - the food was very good.
Sons enjoy walking through the kitchen on way to table, but we felt a bit rushed trying to keep up. Waiter was pleasant yet did not seem very interested in his job. Ordered chicken prepared gluten free and it was very done to perfection, I always worry it will be dry when prepped without the four dusting. I do wish restaurants would have a "bread" type item for gluten free that can be brought to the table with other bread and oil. Even prepackaged bread sticks upon request would be appreciated instead of sitting feeling left out as everyone at table enjoying bread. One other negative was the size of the large ravioli seemed smaller then it used to be. Overall the food was very good, service was good but unenthusiastic. Will return for other group dinners!
