   We visited Bubby's Tribeca today for brunch and couldn't have been more disappointed. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to approach our table and then another 15 minutes before they arrived with the coffee we requested. Upon ordering, we were informed that the first two items we requested were not available (Lobster Roll & Frisee Salad). When asking for alternatives, our waitress was of little help. After trying our cocktails, we realized that the Moscow Mule tasted like sour lemonade with a splash of ginger. We requested another drink, 15 minutes later the Mimosa had not arrived so we cancelled our drink order and asked for the check. Do yourself a favor and avoid Bubby's, there are plenty of great alternative brunch spots in the area that are "hungry" for your business and eager to please.

   I chose Bubby's Tribeca for my 25th birthday dinner with family and close friends. I knew I wanted a place downtown with food that I'd really enjoy (not just super fancy food that doesn't fill me up). I found Bubby's on Yelp and was eager to try it out. Once we arrived at Bubby's (an early Saturday dinner so there'd be plenty of time to go out after) I knew this was a great choice. We were seated right away in a corner booth and one of the friendliest waitresses ever. We had Chinese Takeout Ribs as appetitzers (AMAZING!!) and of course the biscuits (the butter is OUT OF THIS WORLD). Two of us decided to go for the 'Breakfast for Dinner' option while others chose Fried Chicken and coleslaw. It was fancy diner food and truly truly incredible. For dessert we all got a piece of pie. Birthday pie > Birthday cake. The pies were amazing and a fun twist on a Bday tradition. Overall wonderful experience and would definitely return and recommend.

   A very solid restaurant with good ambiance and feel. Nothing too crazy, just a good spot to eat. A little overpriced though.

   I have visited Bubby's in the meatpacking district in NYC. It was really great for Sunday brunch. However, I went to the Bubby's in Tribeca and didn't have the same experience. The service was lousy and the value was not great. The food was delicious but not worth the money for such small portions. The service was very poor to say the least. It didn't turn out to be what I thought.

   Really great food, as always. Loved the Chicken burger! Fries were only so so but overall very happy. Will definitely be back again soon.

   We enjoyed our food immensely. Our service was extremely poor (bar and waiter). Hostess was prompt and attempted to explain away the other aspects

    The food was just OK--worse than I remembered. Our waiter seemed to be handling the bulk of tables in the main dining room and seemed overwhelmed. He was friendly, but kept forgetting things. We were a big group (7) with several kids, though, so not the easiest table.
