Great southern fried fish and shrimp. Decent amount of non-fish items for my wife. Best iced tea we found in NYC

A neat place to go while in the theater district. Great views. The food was fair. Predictable choices. It was an enjoyable experience. But we would likely not go back. Our waitress was attentive and very nice.

I have been here many times and have never had a negative experience, until now. We were a bachelorette party, we had a 6:00 reservation for 7 people, the reservation was made in advance, they knew we were coming. In addition, I spoke with a manager the last time I had come in and they told us they do this all the time, at this time I also signed up for a Landry’s membership card and was told that you get treated like a ‘VIP’. I also asked in advance if they were able to have someone come out in the shrimp suit, to which they told me yes (I am the bride). When calling to check on the reservation and to ask about the shrimp we were shuffled around from person to person then told to call back. When we called back we were told ‘you have the shrimp for 5 minutes at dinner’, if they weren’t able to accommodate for this because of the heat they shouldn’t have said yes. When we arrived at the restaurant we were early and asked if we could check in, the hostess was very dismissive and we ended up making our way to the bar (where we had the best service of the night thanks to the amazing bartender Katy!!!). As other members of the bridal party arrived there was continued confusion as we attempted to grab drinks at the bar, we were told we all needed to be seen by the host in order to be sat at our reserved table. When we finally sat our server was equally as dismissive with us, we all truly felt like it was a problem that we were there. We asked for the bill and the server came over to the table with an ice cream sandwich and a tequila shot asking if the bride was present. I appreciated it, but I am lactose intolerant. So I was unable to eat the sandwich. I provided my Landry’s card at the end of the meal the manager returned to thank me for being a card member. I wouldn’t tell you not to go here, it is one of my favorite restaurants and this was my first bad experience, if they were unable to accommodate what we were asking we should have been told if they couldn’t.

A good meal with good service. Considering its Times Square prices are typical for the area. Would go again.

Staff was friendly. Restaurant is well decorated and fun. In the heard of Times Square, the views were perfect! Music was perfect volume. Food was mediocre at an ok price. I recommend for the experience.
