Bubba Gump - Laughlin
Our food was cold and over salted. They had new cooks and they got our order wrong.
Busy place on a Friday night - glad we used Open Table to make a reservation. Food was good, but a little pricey. Drink prices were definitely overpriced.
Great place to eat.
Loved the food! Service was good.
Table not ready on arrival. Had to request condiments 4 times. Salad dressing on salad - not on side as requested. No visit from on duty Mgr as per Landry policy. Shrimp overcooked.
The portions of fish were tiny compared to other Bubba Gump locations across the US and at the same pricepoint. Wife had talked me out of going to a steak house in Laughlin based on other experiences with the Bubba Gump brand, including daughter's 16th birthday in Hawaii just last year, but was apologizing after the meal since it was not satisfying at all.
We went to dinner at 6pm on a Sunday. We had a large party (9), 5 of which had never been to Bubba Gump's. The staff was friendly but swamped. I suggest more service staff be hired. I have been to Bubba Gump's in San Diego and Hawai'i and had a better time. The food was served luke warm. The salads and soup were excellent, as usual (I recommend highly). The steaks and ribs were not hot. They were cooked correctly, med-rare, however. The shrimp, onion rings and fries were hot and delicious. The drinks were expensive....$12 for a cocktail? The family had a good time, the staff sang a great birthday message to my brother and, like I said, the staff was great, just run ragged. I highly recommend Bubba Gump's for the food and atmosphere, usually, but this wasn't our best experience in Laughlin.
Except for the initial placement near a door. It was good. We asked to move and without hesitation, they found a nicer spot for us. We did have to ask for an appetizer to be brought. Friend wanted it as his meal with the other regular entrees. Quickly resolved.
WE have eaten here at least five times now and we still keep coming back
Cold food. Sent back they only reheated. Ended up not eating. Terrible
having been there on previous occasions - we decided to try the special menu
1:00pm until 5:00 pm.
we will be back
WE have been there on a few occasions this winter and enjoyed everything
we will be back again sometime in February 2020
More of an experience than a meal. Food is ok... not great.
This was a fun place to dine with reasonably priced food. The clam chowder was excellent and served at the correct temperature. The Jambalaya was also good with just a nice kick of heat with the andouille sausage. Our server was pleasant and very efficient. It isn't a quiet place, but the noise level wasn't so bad that you couldn't converse with other people at the table.
Was seated st reservation time. Excellent service. There were large parties celebrating different occasions and the waitresses and waiters were just running to keep up. Just excellent service for everyone that was there and it was completely crowded inside and out. Good job!
All was good except the service. It took a very long time for our server to get to us. She took our order all at once, and then that meant the food came out all at once. I'd like to enjoy my appetizer before I get my salad. One of the meals arrived cold (steak and shrimp). They replaced it and after we were still having trouble getting attention from our server, they took it off the bill. The restaurant had two very large parties of over 20 and that might have been the trouble. If they had these large reservations, they should have staffed appropriately.
Bubba Gumps in Laughlin never disappoints, and whenever we travel to Laughlin, we make it a point to eat there everytime. The light up glasses are awesome!
The bug infestation on the river patio was horrible!
Birthday dinner. Was treated well and the food was fast and good. Would go there again. Make sure you have a reservation if going on a Friday or Saturday or you could be waiting awhile. We did and waiting about 5-10minutes But I heard others that had been waiting for over 30-45.
We always like BG. This one was good. Nice place on boardwalk. Easy access, easy seating, they were not busy. They had an early bird special for 1pm so we ordered it. We ordered @ 1245pm but the food did not arrive until 120pm. The waitress may have forgot us but she made up for it by offering an app on the house. No problem. The food was good as always. We ordered a couple drinks with souvenir glass. Waitress gave us tough BG movie trivia questions. We were able to use Landry's card but unfort no discount yet. Good place tho.
