Outstanding dinner, fresh halibut was excellent, very nice presentation. Very good service in pleasant surrounding. Will definitely visit again!
Brushi is consistently good! The Chef has daily specials which are changing all the time, so we like to try something new each time we go. In particular, he does an amazing job of creating fish specials....always mild tasting with lovely sauces and fresh vegetables on the side. The wait staff are professional and friendly as well.
Visit Omaha once a year from foodie city Denver and Brushi is still one of our favorite restaurants in the world. Perfect place to meet friends who you want to talk to - not rushed, quiet ambiance, non-intrusive but excellent and friendly service with always outstanding food. Try to get there multiple times in the course of a five day visit. Keep up the great work Paul and staff.
Creative menu, wonderful daily specials, excellent waitstaff! One of our favorite Omaha restaurants.
Good Dinner. Extra good service
My husband had the veal and I had the Brie sandwich...both were delicious and the presentation was beautiful...i'm usually not one to take pictures of my food, but this time I did! Bread pudding was excellent as well. It was my husbands birthday, and they added an edible "Happy Birthday" chocolate to the dessert, which was fun. Prices were fairly reasonable compared to other upscale restaurants. This isn't really a negative, but it is more of an older crowd, if that makes a difference to anyone. My husband I are in our mid-thirties, and seemed to be the youngest people in there by at least 10 years.
The food was great and beautifully presented on the plate. The service was attentive and timely. We will go back.
Always beautifully prepared and attentive wait staff. Our local favorite.
This was our 2nd time here and it was top notch again! Great flavors and inviting atmosphere.
Food was fabulous but service was rushed. Reservation was for 645 and you 723 we had cocktails, soup and the waiter was packing up our food!
Great service and delicious food. Great menu full of lots of choices.
The mushroom soup was fantastic!
As usual, the fish specials were fantastic.
Everything is always wonderful!
Superb as always!
My husband and my friends really enjoyed the food and they are seafood and chicken lovers. Myself, I do not care for fish or chicken and thought that the steak was overpriced so I had the pasta dish. The pasta was very well cooked, but the sauce had a spicey after taste that I did not care for. I think I may settle on a salad next time because my husband and friends definitely want to come back.
I highly recommend the onion soup....delicious. Brushi offers an elegant gourmet menu and environment at reasonable prices. Our waiter was very attentive and all of our orders were beautifully plated and delicious.
Outstanding beautifully presented meal. Appetizers were delicious, main course was delicious, wine was mediocre but overall experience was superior.
We have never been disappointed at Brushi, lunch or dinner. Every thing we order has been excellent and we've made it our favorite evening destination. This is one of Omaha's best kept secrets so be careful who you tell!
Brushi's consistently delivers great food and great service in equal measure, both at lunch and dinner. I credit the chef's presence and talent as he is there most of the time.
We have been there before and enjoyed it, but Valentine's Day was a disaster. Although we booked our reservation 3 weeks in advance (and confirmed two days before) they clearly had taken about 25% more reservations than they had space for. They tried to seat us at a little table right next to a glass door that wasn't sealed and it was about 50 degrees with the wind blowing across us. A couple that had reservations just got up from the bar and left. They moved us to a back table, which was better -- except that it was extremely hard to get our server. Then our server actually sat down at the table to take our order, which was uncomfortable. We ordered a glass of red wine to see how it was and then ordered a bottle. Most places won't charge you for the glass then, but they did. The food was bad. My veal dish was so oily that I only ate about half of it. My wife's salmon did not taste good and her stomach bothered her next day.
We enjoyed a nice Valentine's Day dinner tonight. As always food and service are stellar.
The food is awesome and the wait staff is outstanding
The usual outstanding food and service. Chef Paul does an amazing job, night after night.
One of the top places in Omaha if you're a foodie. The preparation of every dish was absolutely breathtaking. Not to mention, the sauces were unbelievably delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Would go back here in a heartbeat.
I love the food here its amazing ! We went back here bc biaggis ruined our anniversary night so we chose to go here again bc the food was so excellent and we were not disappointed so thank you!
This has quickly become our favorite restaurant in Omaha
The Normandy onion soup is to die for !!!
My prime rib was cooked to perfection ! Presented beautifully
My dates Veal was also perfect
Dessert of Chocolate moose and chocolate pecan tart were both excellent !!!
All in a beautiful and classy dining room !
I highly recommend !!!!
I’m so disappointed that my photos won’t upload...
They were beautiful !!!
Food is good. Waiter,Tom, makes the expierence more enjoyable. Few restaurants meet my standards. This one does.
It was a cold snowy day but we had a birthday to celebrate so out we went! Restaurant was very quiet due to weather. There were 4 of us so veal, Mac & cheese, farm salad and gnocchi where what we ordered. Food was very good. Two complaints however the gnocchi serving was way too small. Portions for all other meals were large not sure why gnocchi was short changed. Dessert was excellent-chocolate mousse cake and lemon lavender cake. The waiter was overly chatty, shared stories of his childhood etc which felt intrusive, maybe he was lonely!
'Brushi's is one of our "go-to" spots when we need to have a reservation and want great food, great service and an easy conversation spot. The food was it's usual- great, however the service on this particular Saturday evening was less than great. Server was slow and not very attentive. One of our table-mate's entrees did not arrive until after the rest of the table had almost finished their entire meals (~25 mins late). There was an apology from the server, but no accommodation on the bill or an offer of a complimentary cocktail or dessert. We were surprised and a bit embarrassed, as we had spoken so highly of the restaurant to our out-of-town dinner guests. We will try Brushi's again, but perhaps not on a busy Saturday evening....
wonderful food, impeccable service. never feel rushed.
Excellent as always!
Tom was a terrific server. He knew the menu and specials well. Gave great recommendations.
All four of us enjoyed our choices.
The quality and presentation of the soup, salad, and main courses have been excellent each time we attend. The chef has modified recipes a bit since the last time we visited, which was some time ago.
Went on spur of the moment and got reservations on Opentable no problem. Had table ready as well as high chair for our grandson. First time there. Food selection was moderate but felt the prices were a little high. Paid $12 for mozzarella salad that was pretty but had 3 small pieces of cheese and 7 pieces of tomatoe. Burger was a little high for just a regular lettuce, tomatoe and fries on side. Two of our party had salads which were fresh and average size. The salmon was the best dish of the five. Our server was great. Sorry I didn’t catch his name. Would go again but maybe try one of their specials versus the price for other dishes.
My husband and I have never anything but amazing food at Brushi's. It's moderately priced, especially for the quality of food you get. You will not be disappointed!
Best paella you'll find. Always greeted by professional, attentive wait staff. In a city full of great restaurants, this is definitely one of our favorites.
Our first time here - wish we’d been coming for years! Such an elegant, delicious, comforting and perfectly executed menu. Flawless service and great prices. Can’t wait to go back!
Good was excellent and service from Richard was great!
Four of us dined here early in the evening before a movie. There were few tables open but we were seated in a very cold corner. Asked to move and were told sit anywhere in the side room. Not particularly friendly reception. Ordered two appetizers and both were very good but portions were pretty skimpy for price. All four dinners were delicious with just right portions. Veal special was very good. Service was OK, friendly but not very attentive. Overall good experience and would return but not a 'go to' place.
