Bruno Ceka started this establishment over 25 years ago, and has been actively involved since its beginning. Bruno is an enthusiastic businessman who loves working in and serving the local community. He’s had several business ventures in the area over the years, but his passion has always been here, at Bruno’s. Most days you’ll see him welcoming you in the dining room.
Excellent food and service. Staff is attentive but not overbearing. Lovely experience
Nice, romantic, close to home! We enjoyed our evening.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance.
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding
We hadn’t been to Bruno’s in over 10 years, not sure why. Our dinner was excellent! We had chicken piccata & lasagna. Both were really good. Bread was very good, too. I’d forgotten how pretty & QUIET Bruno’s was. Exactly what we like. We were so impressed, we made reservations for a family birthday celebration there for this weekend. SO glad to rediscover Bruno’s!
Very attentive service and friendly staff
First time at Bruno’s referred by friends. Great choice and very busy for a Wednesday evening. Parking was difficult.
The only complaint that I have is that we were there for NYE and they had a pre-defined menu. We weren’t told about the menu and it didn’t have the pricing. We decided to leave as we didn’t want any of the choices provided. However, when we explained why we were leaving, we were offered the full menu. We all had something different and all 4 selections were fabulous. We haven’t been disappointed with the food yet!
Consistently among the best restaurants of any style, type or flavor, year-in and year-out.
Great experience. DJ is a friendly and efficient server who tries to get to know her regulars!
I have eaten at Brunos for 22 years. I keep coming back. highly recommend it.
We always enjoy going to Bruno’s. Friendly staff. Great food. Great service.
We love this restaurant. Great date night and we can hear each other.
Great atmosphere and service. However the food is very bland and pricey for what you get. Bruschetta was toast with warm tomatoes and basil on it that didn't blend at all. No balsamic or any other spice. Very dry. My entree was $22 and had very little flavor. The same with my dinner mate who ordered a different dish. Very dissapointing from a food perspective. Will not go again.
Excellent local Italian restaurant !!
Bruno's never fails to provide the perfect setting for casual dinner or special occasions! We've enjoyed every dish we've tried, and the staff is outstanding. The lobster ravioli appetizer and the beef cannoli dish are two of our favorites. It's our favorite Italian restaurant - authentic cuisine and great selection of wines.
Great experience. Although one couple lives in Mansfield and the other in Frisco, we will plan another evening at Bruno's
My favorite restaurant bar none. Great food. Great ambiance. Excellent service.
after expecting an awesome bruschetta , we received a dry, flavorless toast with stingy tomato and no presence of olive oil and garlic. . . . . .very disappointing .....
we'll be back hoping this improves. . . .it's about attention to DETAIL..
Chicken was dry. Marsala had little taste. Only two shrimp on the Bruno’s Special. Generally overpriced
Our favorite restaurant for a quiet, romantic dinner. Cocktails are a bit pricey, bot otherwise, always a wonderful experience.
Wonderful experience! Great Pianist, very much enjoyed the food.
Always a pleasure to dine at Bruno’s. The service is excellent, the food is consistently delicious and high quality and the view and ambience are perfect. We have eaten here many times, and celebrated many special occasions here and Bruno’s has never disappointed. Bruno often comes by our table to personally check on us. A great neighborhood gem.
We finally tried Bruno's after being in Coppell for years, earlier this year. Why, it took us so long, I don't know. They are awesome. Food is great, and so is the service.
Bruno's is now our go-to for Italian. Part of me doesn't want to share, but on the other hand, I want them to stay in business too.
You really should try them.
The right decision for quiet romantic and peaceful evening by the canals.
Wonderful. As usual. :)
Wonderful experience. Food was excellent. Wine selection was good. It’s not easy to impress someone from New Jersey when it comes to Italian food, but Bruno’s is very good.
For my first visit I arrived upon opening, and had the place to myself. I was seated on the canal side and rested my eyes with the view. The waiter was attentive & professional. A friend arrived to join me & she ordered bruschetta for her first time. She was impressed with her appetizer & would order again. Food was fresh and presented in a beautiful manner. We did not have dessert. As the placed filled, it got a bit noisy, but that was also from the live piano player that arrived with the supper regulars. They have a canal side private room, against a far wall. I suggest an average-sized family, or small work department would fit in comfort. Thank you Bruno's.
Appetizer was ok, mussels and calamari were over cooked and rubbery. Veal Parm was outstanding. Wine is bit overpriced and need more variety. Service was very attentive. Had six people at a business dinner in the dining room (not pvt room) and they auto tipped 20% including on 3 bottles of $200 cakebread . That’s not right should be precalc tip on 8 plus and 10% tip on wine not 20%. Won’t be back as a result and can’t recommend for a business dinner.
Great place to gather with friends. We had a corner of the back room overlooking the canal. The food was awesome as always and didn’t disappoint. Good size portions for a great price. Will definitely return.
This is one of my favorite places I visit with my friends. This restaurant is not noisy but serene and quiet. The staff is extraordinary. Looking forward to visiting this restaurant again with my friends.
Great food and service! We love dining here! It’s a great spot for special occasions but also wonderful for a spur of the moment dinner any weekday night!
Impeccable service, excellent food, good winelist, great ambience. No wait, friendly staff.
Our reservation was at 7 and we did not get our food until 9 and that was after my husband had to go and ask the hostess where our food was and immediately brought to our table. They had a big wedding party so we were pretty much ignored. Food was not very good.
Nice little restaurant and the food was very good. Overall a very enjoyable experience and we will return again (this was our first visit to Bruno's).
Supporting independently owned operations is something I try to always do. I saw Bruno's on the Internet and suggested it to two other couples. Everything was sensational. They gave us a table overlooking the canal and it was fantastic.
The bread was perfect and butter was soft. Prices were fair (although the salad was a little pricey). The salad dressing was great and seemed to not be from a bottle. My wife complains, but I always order spaghetti and meat sauce in Italian restaurants. While not an expert, I know good spaghetti when I get it. This was good.
The atmosphere and ambiance could not be improved on. Someone was playing the piano in the bar area. The volume was just right and each selection was better than the previous one. I am not one to sit at a bar and drink, but if I were, that is the kind of cozy bar I would do it at.
I am hard pressed to think of anything Bruno could improve on. As the six of us left, each one said they wanted to come back. Kudos to Bruno!
Fabulous. As always.
We love this neighborhood gem. Everything is good. Pasta, meats, fish, appetizers, salads, and desserts.....all delightful. Great service and fair prices.
Bruno's is a fantastic place. We have been regulars for more than 20 years and he has never disappointed. The food is authentic, tasty and the soft music a great final touch.
The fresh bread was awesome!!! The service and food has not changed which I think shows perfection with the restaurant
