   Excellent specialty cocktail, lobster linguini was quite good and the mushroom soup entree reminded me of Disney's Wilderness Lodge's Artist Point Smoky Portabella Mushroom Soup ... mmm. Reasonably priced, a nice treat in downtown Springfield, Illinois.

    As usual - everything was fantastic. Carter is a tremendous waiter. Nice, knowledgeable, engaging and patient with customers who probably aren’t as funny as we think we are. Kudos to the chef and kitchen… I’ve learned to always get the special - as it’s usually wonderful.

    Food was very good and reasonably priced. Original waiter service very good however very rushed brought mains out when we were still eating starters and felt they were keen to close for evening.

    First time eating here and everything was delicious. I had the Caprese salad and a salad and my husband had the Linguini with Clams. Also ordered a pizza - yum! Service was awesome. I highly recommend eating here if in the area.

    The service was fast and friendly enough. The food was okay and under seasoned. We had never been to an Italian restaurant that didn’t offer bread. There are many other great Italian restaurants in Springfield.

    We drive 3hrs one way about twice a yr just to have dinner here. Love the simple, classic dining room, cozy atmosphere, excellent service and good food (I am Italian!). It is a bit of a splurge for us, but we always feel like it’s been a special occasion when we dine at Bruno’s.

    Our server Mike was very knowledgeable about the menu and spoke well to the dishes. Beautiful bar and intimate dining area. Had carpaccio for an appie, Caesar salad as well. Dressing tasted bottled. Capraccio delicious. Had the lobster ravioli and seared ahi tuna special. Both delicious! Especially the lobster sauce, amazing!!!

    Bravo Bruno’s The new owners and the new improved Brunos has become my fav Springfield restaurant. Whether its the Wagyu filet, Or the linguini with clams. Or the amazing pizza. Everything is fresh and homemade. The bonus is all the staff treat you as family. Superb service with smiles. I should know. I ate there three times this week!!!     Waitress didn't know what was going on because manager was not there to inform her. Didn't know which wines were available. My Italian sausage was burnt on one side. Wine that was available was way, way, way over-priced. I predict the place won't last another year. Too bad, it used to be good.

    What a lovely little place! We’re from out of town and so glad we decided to try this restaurant. Everything was perfect from drinks to dessert. Mike was our server and added to the great evening.

    DATE NIGHT!!!! Bruno’s has it all. Great service! Family fun atmosphere! Bar and wine service! and top it all with fresh fabulous unique food. Began with their new home made dipping bread and olive oil balsamic dipping sauce. Added cheese and garlic and created a wow!!! Started with a new salad. Grilled vegetables, mixed with butter lettuce, cheese crumbles and balsamic dressing. Delicious and very popular!! Main courses for her Wagyu rib eye with truffle butter. Perfectly seared and seasoned medium rare. For me linguine with clams and diavolo sauce. Impressed my dinner date girl friend. Major date night positives!!! Make a reservation and tell them George sent you! Bon Appetite

    Consistently Outstanding!!! Yesterday took my teenaged grandaughters to Bruno’s They started with Shirley Temples. Lots if cherries. Their fav since they were much younger. Fun drink. Enjoyed the NEW FRESH BAKED BREAD and dipping sauce. They started with perfectly seasonsed Cesar salads. Tasty and tangy! Then one of their main course favorites. Rigatoni bolognaise!! Perfect blend of seasoned meat sauce and bite sized rigatoni. No cutting. Lol! Filling and memorable. Even were able to take some home for a snack later. Service was exceptional and paid attention to the entire family. FUN! FUN! FUN!! HOME COOKED AFFORDABLE FAMILY MEALS!! DEFINITELY NEED RESERVATIONS. TELL THEM GEORGE SENT YOU BON APPETITE!
