I love eating at Bruno's. On my recent dining experience I started with Arancini as my appetizer. The risotto balls were delicious and perfectly seasoned and stuffed with cheese. For my main dish I ate the Salome. The salmon was grilled to perfection and crispy enough for me to enjoy during each bite I took. The side dish of brussel sprouts took my dish to a whole different level of satisfaction. In short, my meal sent my taste buds through the roof of the building. I can't wait to return.

One of our "go to" places within 10 miles of our home. Food is always prepared well and presented in "old world" style. Pricing is fair for what you get and never disappoints.

We showed up on time for our 6:15 reservation on Saturday evening. We were seated immediately but it took 10 minutes before we were offered water and longer to get bread. We asked 3 times for butter but never got any. Eventually the server took our drink orders but came back to say that the beer was not available so we had to re-order. One person chose a pasta and seafood entree and the seafood was very skimpy. The other entrees were good. The noise level is unbelievably loud and we will probably not return to this restaurant in the future.

Bruno's never disappoints. The meat and cheese appetizer was very tasty. We will be back. The salmon is top notch as is the spare rib pasta.

Wasn't the fun New Years Eve dinner we thought it would be. The place was wiping down tables and shutting down at 11:30, there was no vibe or excitement happening so we left. It was very disappointing. My husband ordered the sea bass and it was bland. My Seafood Linguini had hardly any seafood in it.

Pasta over cooked. Borderline mushy.
Tomato sauce was, unremarkable. I've had better from a jar.
Meatballs were, uh edible.

Came here for dinner with friends. Wine pours were very small. All the amounts in our glasses were different, and one person got significantly less. We had a person at the table with a severe egg allergy. Our waitress was very nice, but didn't seem to know what any of the meals consisted of and had to keep checking with the chef. In the end, my husband ended up with the eggless noodles too (and he does not have an allergy). She offered to take his plate back, but it had taken so long for the food to come out that he just ate it. He really did not like his meal and was disappointed. Also, the mix up with the eggless noodles caused us to wait an extra long time for the person with the allergy's food to come out. So all our food got cold while we waited.

I've been to this restaurant before and had a nice time/meal, but I don't think I could convince my husband to return to Bruno's after this experience.

Great again. Always love coming here.
My only issue with this trip was a few large groups made too much noise.
I guess you need to expect that during holidays but they got a little overboard at times.
Still will head back soon.

Went there Saturday night for dinner on friend's recommendation. Appreciated that I was able to get a dinner reservation for party of 2 that same afternoon. Arrived on time for 7:30 pm reservation and place was packed. Waited 15 minutes to get seated. Food was worth the wait. Seafood linguine and panna cotta were both excellent. Good selection of wine by the glass. Service was professional and attentive, but not hovering. Will definitely return.

GREAT SERvice great everything overall ! I highly recommend it. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and in the notes when making my reservation I requested that if they didn’t anything for birthdays I would highly appreciate it.
It was great. And perfect for a date too. Dim lighting and one is a perfect duo.

Great Italian sauces and flavorful food. Bread served is the nice crusty on top and soft in the middle along w/olive oil & vinegar for dipping. Starter we shared a Caesar salad w/anchovies and the waiter heard us say we would split....and, he split salad for us and it was perfect for 2 if you don't want a big salad. For entrees...spaghetti & meatballs (very authentic) and Cioppino (seafood was fresh with great tasting muscles, shrimp, and white fish). Very pleased with food and service.

It was our second visit to Bruno's. the first time the food was amazing so we decided to bring some family on our next visit I ordered the same dish and it was not the same. Even our appetizers were different (clams with basil sauce). Everything tasted water down. When we were seated there was olive oil on the floor and under the table. It took 3 times of asking before it was cleaned up. My father asked for non-alcoholic beer and was told you don't carry it and again if you had southern comfort and again the answer was no.... . Maybe it was off night but for the cost I think it's un acceptable.

Service was excellent, food was good but nothing exceptional, wine choices were OK but not great. We had a couple of pasta dishes--the sauces were v. good, the noodles were entirely to heavy vs. the lighter weight expected. Admittedly, I have high expectations for dining living in the Napa Valley.

I usually love Bruno’s. This time, however, the pasta was bland and over cooked. I also indicated on my reservation that it was my sister’s birthday, but it was never acknowledged. I’ve been multiple times and am usually very pleased, but this time was disappointing.

Well, something must be working...the place was packed by the time we left Sunday evening.

My number one problem was noise. It's just too loud in there. One of my guests also made the same comment. As I've mentioned in several reviews of other restaurants, there's a very simple, inexpensive way to reduce the reverberation in the room. Not only does it make it easier to have discussions, it makes the background music more enjoyable.

Service was marginal. We waited quite a bit for someone to take our orders, and then get the check. Again, on a Sunday evening they were slammed, this was unusual.

The other thing that bugged me was the menu was on a placemat. I remember this as a child at an old restaurant chain that I can't name on the web. It was annoying back then, but it does make it convenient for the wait staff.

Based on some other recommendations, I'll try Bruno's again. As busy as Sunday was, they were probably short-staffed. It's in a good location and my lasagne was good.

Not the place you'd want to go for a quiet dinner, as it's very energetic and loud. The service was good, food was good, prices not bad. Nice place for dinner after a movie.

Right now Brunos is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. Food and service are consistently good, and it is in a convenient location. We much prefer Brunos to the cookie cutter chain Italian restaurants. Can't miss with the homemade pappardelle and budino for dessert.
