Fantastic restaurant - intimate and stylishly designed, with friendly, attentive service and stand-out food.
It was our first time here on Saturday and it was absolutely divine. We even spoke of the next time we would book up to come
Absolutely perfect service, food and atmosphere. The restaurant over looks Her Majesty’s Theatre so if you are going to see Phantom, book a table for 5pm. We had the set menu with a few extras. Spectacular food and service throughout and a bill less than £60. We will be back.
Great value set lunch at £20... very generous portions, we enjoyed the salmon croquettes immensely. The choice of cakes from the table for dessert were delicious. Only watch out is that water is £5.75 a bottle, so you can really ramp the bill up quickly!
I found the options limited on the set menu. The spiced confit duck was very dry and the spices were uncooked. I left most of it. The waiter asked the generic “how was everything” on picking up my plate. I mentioned about the dryness etc but there was no comment from the waiter.
Really nice food and immaculate service. We went for pre-theatre dinner and they’ve done such a great job to accommodate for the time we had
A nice place, pleasant ambience and good food. A la cart menus is overpriced but set menu choices actually very good. Thursday jazz in the bar spills over into the restaurant - excellent
Great location, nice menu, good value, tasty food
Brumus always perfect following our National Gallery visits. The latest visit didn't disappoint. Service very good with nice set menu (duck especially, very good). Also a very good cocktail bar so our place to complete special days.
This was a wonderful place to have a pre lunch meal before the theatre. The service was excellent and the food very good value!
Super place, super staff. Fabulous location and nice cocktail bar too!
Enjoyable pre-theatre meal. Waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. Food was great - in fact, we were too full to have one of the tempting looking cakes so the waiter helpfully offered us the option of either returning after the show or take away. Whilst food was good value, drinks seem quite expensive and the small glass of wine on offer for an extra £5 with the pre-theatre menu was not that good. Otherwise, I would go again but just have water with the meal.
We had the open table set menu with prosecco. Excellent value. Service was outstanding - attentive, warm, and friendly, but not over the top. Food delicious and large portions. I have already recommended it to friends.
Brumus lived up to expectations as always! A nice way to start the year
Food was good. I went there with a set menu but when we had the bill, we were charged separately for each course and the drink. They revised the bill, however, the dessert and the drink was still charged separately. We didn't complain again but after we left the restaurant we realized that the starter wasn't served. I only ate a main and dessert which was charged on top of the menu price. I paid the full menu price just for a main. It was a completely disaster and very disappointing for our first time there...
We had the pre theatre menu. Exceptional value at £19.99 for 3 courses, all were delicious. Service was very good and they let us have a break between main course and dessert. Very friendly staff and we were finished in plenty of time to go the show. We would definitely eat here again.
Although our meal wasn’t the best , our mash was cold and the spinach was vinegary, the fish was lovely. The manager was brilliant in dealing with our complaint and the layout of the bar next to the restaurant is very cosy.
A very pleasant pre theatre dinner in nice relaxing surroundings. Service & food very good.
Outstanding service and ambiance. The food was great aswell. Totally recommended!
We had a lovely evening at Brumus. The dining room is lovely and our Greek waiter was fabulous. The only let down was the food... both the beetroot salad starter and main course turbot were bland and under seasoned, with the turbot also being slightly overcooked or dried out. It's a lovely restaurant but the food was slightly underwhelming!
A very tastefully designed restaurant, with great art on the walls and excellent food to match. You won't regret eating here.
Friendly staff, delicious food from an extensive menu (especially the desserts) at very reasonable prices
Fantastic dinning experience with good food and great location. Only short walking distance from Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus stations.
Great ambience and it’s perfect for friends gathering. The set menu offer was of great value although we also ordered food from the a la carte menu.
Restaurant avec une qualité de plat de service irréprochable. Il s'agit d'une très bonne adresse pour manger après le musical "the phantom of the opera" (trottoir d'en face :) )
Very attentive staff ...great food and left to enjoy the meal without being rushed . Great location for theatre either pre or after ...
Great location. Opted for the pre-theatre menu. Good value, the portions are a little on the small side but having said that we left feeling satisfied, (who wants to sit through a show feeling bloated anyway).
Just a little note, you get a glass of house wine for £5 with the pre-theatre menu, my husband missed that so went for a beer, would've had wine if he'd noticed that.
Staff were very attentive, waiter also checked about dietary requirements. Also checked what time our show started, those little details count.
Would definitely use this restaurant again.
Excellent service. Our waiter was very professional, attentive, interesting and friendly. The background music is jazz, a great selection, and the sound system is pretty good. We enjoyed the ambiance, our experience and the food is good!
Lovely find, visited before the theatre. Food was extremely nice and service was attentive.
Very good experience here. We have been to their sister restaurant in soho and chose Haymarket for the first time. We were not disappointed and actually preferred the ambiance and service if the smaller venue. It was more central for our theatre visit this time and we will definitely return. Thank you for such a pleasant early evening pre theatre meal.
We were there for my birthday, but I didn’t tell them to avoid someone would start singing “happy birthday to you” haha. We arrived at 5pm cause were going to attend “Phantom of the opera”. Food, service and atmosphere were all perfect! Great experience, awesome birthday! 🙏
My friend and I had a Christmas dinner here. Good service and good food. How a nice evening.
We came for Christmas Dinner for the 6 course meal. It was definitely over priced but it was Christmas so that should be expected. As for quality of food it was very good, great sampling of items, and it was an enjoyable night. The service went down hill as the evening progressed with a significant delay in us getting the cheese plate and bill. We had to keep asking for both several times- it became a bit uncomfortable which is why they have reduced stars. But we totally enjoyed their Christmas decor and spirit with the table crackers and all. It was a fun night starting off our holiday.
Lovely restaurant, excellent service, great food. Very impressed.
First class as always- made to feel very welcome by excellent staff - food superb
Brumus - Great place to meet friends for lunch. The location was very central, ambience was good, service was impecable and supurb food and very good for money.
Definately visit again in the very near future and I highly recommend Brumus Restaurant.
Server was attentive, friendly and professional.
We had a lovely meal at Brumus. The service was really fantastic - all the staff were friendly, professional, attentive but not 'too much'. The ambiance was smart and modern yet relaxed and cozy. The food was really good quality and well put together - simple and delicious. It was also pretty good value considering the setting and location. I'd definitely go back again and would take friends and family for a special occasion.
What a beautiful place a delicious afternoon tea
The decor was beautiful. The food although very British, was of a high standard. The service was outstanding. Can’t believe I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. Definitely, going back. Thank you so much.
Great VFM on the £23 deal for 3 courses, and a glass of 125ml wine £5.
We had excellent food at each stage, with complimentary mini ice-cream cones afterwards.
Service unable to fault. Just the right amount of concern for our comfort and satisfaction, not intrusive.
Would definitely return
Great dining experience. Let us linger for ages and didn't bother us. Great selection of vegan options too. Lovely setting. Only complaint was lack of water jugs for the table! Would recommend.
