Great restaurant. We were just taking a quick weekend trip and had never been there before. Food, service and ambience were much better than what we were expecting from an average brewery. Great location, fun night.
Enjoyed our outside table right on the river walk. Great beer and food.
Our service was slow and our meals were over priced for the size of the portions.
Surprisingly excellent!! Everything we are was exceptional!
We will definitely be back, a very clean and energetic atmosphere with plenty of gluten free options.
Always great food and service. Our server Rebecca was fabulous!
This is our favorite place to eat in Pueblo. Food, beer, service, atmosphere, location and cleanliness is always great.
The hostess needs to honor the 10 min hold on reservation before seating others or change the open table booking policy.
Totally enjoyed Brie’s Alehouse. The weather was beautiful, the ambience was great, the food was very good! Love a place where you can get good food and beer.
Excellent customer service! Dog friendly. The hostess had two bowls of water ready for our dogs when we were seated. Great view of the Riverwalk. Very clean.
Very professional with good food, decent wine list and great service!
We absolutely LOVED our burgers at Brues — my husband loved the Slopper smothered in green chiles and my Bacon Chile Cheddar Burger was outstanding. We were passing through town on a road trip and hadn’t heard of Big Jim chiles before, they have a great flavor and heat. The old police station space is very cool and the tables are nicely distanced. Our waiter was great but I’m subtracting a point on service because before we left I checked my email and found an Open Table email saying the restaurant had cancelled my reservation. I asked the hostess to correct this but she assured me this was her normal process and I would still get my points. Since this had never happened to me before I had a hard time believing this was true, but the hostess area was getting a bit crowded so I didn’t want to stick around to fix the problem. When I got home I messaged the folks at Open Table and I appreciate that they got everything corrected.
Wonderful place. Locally owned and they do it well. Love it!
Best sweet potato fries in town! A little on the pricey side but worth it to be transported from gritty Pueblo to hipster Pueblo. With drinks and an appy, expect to pay about $20. For a full meal and drinks $25 (per person). Assume $10/drink. Another Pueblo gem located on the scenic Riverwalk.
Great food and atmosphere. We all enjoyed our meal.
The only issue I had was that our wait staff made us feel rushed, hurried us to finish instead of allowing us to enjoy our time.
Set up is great and service too. Few items on the menu are tasty though but it's fresh and nicely presented. Drinks are awesome
Brues is doing a good job of maintaining social distance and complying with COVID-19 precautions. It was so nice to be there again!
Great service and beer. Kitchen was slow. Beautiful location.
The food tastes good. But for the prices you would think drinks would be bigger and there woohoo be more than just burgers
Second visit; ate on patio. Prefer indoors but seated more quickly outside. Range of ages, young families, friends rendezvous. As usual, service impeccable. Hubby ordered plant-based burger and enjoyed it. Wherever do they get those amazing pickles??
We really enjoyed our Father’s Day lunch and had excellent service that was very attentive to cleanliness and not rushing us.
Brues is our FAVORITE place to dine. The quality of the food, beer, and service is always top notch and the atmosphere can't be beat.
We took our daughter and her husband to Brue's for their Anniversary. The food and service was excellent. From the Shrimp Poorboy, the Slopper, The Grinder, and the Bacon, Pueblo Chili burger, it was awesome! Not a second thought where we will go again. THANKS!!
Everything was great as always. This has been one of my favorite places to eat for a long time. It was so nice to sit out on the patio and enjoy the riverwalk again while having some delicious food.
So wonderful to have Brue's open. We always have a great experience every time we go. Staff were wearing masks and were prompt to disinfect a table when customers left. The food was delish as always.
Good looking interior with very good food. Thai Peanut Chicken Wrap was perfect for a hot summer meal: crunchy cucumbers, delicious peanut sauce. Service was refreshingly intelligent, pleasant & efficient. Make reservations ahead in these COVID reduced capacity times. Definitely recommend.
With great outside seating on the river walk, good food, good ales and good service, it was a great place to idle over lunch. Seating and staff were cognizant of social distancing.
I would recommend. The beer was awesome and the hamburgers are delicious
It was great food and so nice to sit outside by the water!
Nice area next to the River walk- Food was good, but took way to long to get.
Brues did a great job with social distancing and the food and drinks were great!
This place is a wonderful location on the Riverwalk, lovely in the evening. Beer is good. When we went they seemed to be out of almost all vegetarian options, a definite drawback.
My sister and I went here for brunch and had an outstanding experience. We had a reservation, and we were seated promptly. My sister had the special, which was a corn cake topped with pork and other items, and I had the shrimp and grits. The food, drinks, and ambiance were exceptional. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasant. Our drinks arrived swiftly. The food seemed to take a while to come out, and we noticed other tables were also waiting. Total wait time from ordering to receiving the food was about 45 minutes. This could certainly be related to a new flow with the post-pandemic reopening, and we respected that and ordered another drink while waiting. The restaurant was very clean. We enjoyed our experience very much and are excited to return.
Wonderful atmosphere. Able to be seated relatively easily. Kept the area. Nice and clean for all people.
Service was great, but when we arrived they were out of several items. No chicken, no salmon or fries. They substituted the fries with onion rings (which was fine) until only 5 onion rings appeared on the plate. We'll be back and hopefully everything will be running at full capacity.
Brues Alehouse did a fantastic job of social distancing, making us feel comfortable with our decision to dine inside a restaurant. Staff all wore masks, every other table was blocked/unused, customers wore masks to tables and whenever not at the table, there was no bar searing.... Well done!
The service was great. So glad they were open. The sticking point was masks; had tried contacting and reading the web site, none of which said masks were required. Upon arrival we were told that to eat inside we had to wear masks. They do not have to make customers wear masks inside, even though they intimated that it was 'law.' It is not. Even more, we were told that we would have to pay for a mask if we did not bring one. And to just wear a mask to the table and restroom and upon exit is useless even if you think they help. So we ate outside. Apart from that, we were well taken care of by the serving staff and had a wonderful time out to eat there.
Really only complaint was that this was advertised to be a Valentine's Day evening special event, it really was compared to previous years very disappointing from a Valentine's perspective. Food and service were as always outstanding.
