We reserved a table outside. Because of the weather they didn’t have tables set up. They were unable to accommodate us at a table inside even though they knew we had a resy. We did agree to sit at the bar to eat. The seating hostess was not helpful otherwise service was good.
The wait staff took a really long time for everything. I was sat 15 minutes after my reservation, then she took another 15 minutes to take our drink order, etc. The food was ok but priced pretty well considering the area.
This is just for brunch.
Best to make reservations the place fills up quickly.
The coffee martini was on spot and the rest of the meal we dive into left nothing.
The service was amazing.
Hostess listen to what I wanted and came thru along with the server.
The food was not that great. It arrived cold and was missing flavor. The service was average.
Had a party of 10 for Sunday brunch. The menu was a bit limited, and the service was pretty slow (understandable given the high demand, but we ended up waiting over 40 min after we put our order in for the food). Home fries were underdone. But our server was excellent and friendly, and the space was very cozy for a large party.
The waitress was super nice and helped make my birthday special
Opted to sit inside, away from traffic. Service was very good. Interesting cocktails. We had an appetizer of mushroom toast which was quite good, lots of complimentary flavors- sweet and savory. The special of bolognese was good, but heavy in cream and butter and too large a portion.
My daughter and I share a lovely outdoor meal, we ordered off the specials menu and were blown away by the fresh pasta bolognese. Took donuts home for later, we were stuffed. Already planning to return.
The service is top notch! The food choices are limited, and the food is ok. The drinks, wonderfully made by the bar tender. Great spot to catch up.
Very long wait before we could even order. Sat for 30 min before we received our beverages and before we could place our order
Friendly service, delicious omelet, breakfast potatoes need more flavor. Crazy good raspberry jam on really good English muffins.
Food was delicious. Service was very good. Nice atmosphere.
First time there, really much better than expected. Brunch was excellent, food delicious. Pretty noisy, but it is a pub.
Food was delicious and great service from the staff. Will definitely be back again soon!
Good outdoor space. Fritters, steak frites, donut holes all excellent. Two of three cocktails we ordered were terrific. One cocktail (Cucumber Breeze) and the Caesar salad were only so-so. Great service.
Very thoughtful waiter—asked someone if she was vegetarian (based on what she had ordered) to let her know home fries are cooked in bacon fat, she was very appreciative. And overall great staff! Pancakes a bit dark/bordering burnt but tasty food on the whole.
this brunch was a pleasant surprise and the waitress was awesome
Sat at high top table near open windows since no outdoor seating available - very good service and food - not crowded inside
The music and atmosphere were the best things about this place, I'd go again to see if the food got better but almost $30 for 2 spiked iced coffee was ridiculous.
Graduation brunch, waiter was outstanding
Still holding strong! Best mac n cheese in the world.
Loveee this place!
Great food, pleasant service, very enjoyable
Great brunch options. Corn beef Hash & home fries is tasty and the FCCFT slap.
I live in the area and had walked by this place a bunch of times and finally decided to try it. They have a nice outdoor patio area and the indoor area has large windows that are usually open on nice days. The food was great, our server was awesome, and the drinks were strong! I am gluten free and they were able to make adjustments to almost everything on the menu to accommodate me. I got the burger on gluten free toast and truffle fries. Nothing bad to say and definitely will be back!
Brownstone was the perfect place to start off a birthday celebration
The food was excellent and outstanding service
Pleasant friendly atmosphere for a get together with friends or family
Food is good, service is excellent.
Brunch is great try the French toas sticks - one of few places that serves grits
It was good, not outstanding- but definitely a nice place to get drinks and food on a chill night.
Great place to celebrate graduation from college informally with family!
Brunch food was outstanding. Pancakes, yogurt parfait, monte cristo and corn beef hash were all yummy. Kind staff, great location, safe outdoor seating. I'll be back.
We'd love to have you back!
The server was brand new and came by every 3-4 minutes to see if we wanted to order so after 4 times of saying we would like to enjoy our drinks she finally got the message. The wines by the glass needed to be of better quality. The outdoor space worked well. the food was good. I would not rush to go back given all the choices in Boston.
Good early dinner with family. We sat outside on a cool evening so most food was not particularly hot but adequately warm. The pepper entree was least enjoyed though OK but the scallop corn fritters were awesome! My steak frites was good ... steak was tender and flavorful though, again, served just warm to cool. No complaints from others. The drinks were also very good. My variation on a Manhattan was memorable though maybe just a tad sweet for my taste.
Thanks Thomas we appreciate you coming in!
The staff was so rude. Evening being in the restaurant industry myself for over 10 years I was shocked.
Great place in a nice location out of the Boylston/Newbury crowds. Very responsive staff.
Great experience! Drinks were good and the food was great as well. Pricing was decent for the area.
Thank you Tom!
Neighborhood feel with great food and wonderful truffle fries!
Super rude staff (multiple people), good food, no specialty coffee drinks
The menu has changed they don’t serve any pancake or French toast or egg Benedict to customers. Bad server attitude towards customer. Giving us attitude of stuff they stop serving!
Most underrated brunch spot in Boston! The best you HAVE to go!!! New favorite for sure!
