Gastro Pub
The Broughton Common, sister restaurant to fellow Broughton Street resident Ordinary Pub, brings with it the same innovative spirit fans of The Ordinary Pub have come to expect. With brunch seven days a week, a gastropub-style dinner six days a week (M-Sa),and two daily happy hours, the BC is a gastropub geared toward an adult experience.

We are proud to feature both a food and cocktail program that harnesses the culinary talents of our team through a strong partnership between the kitchen and the bar. Guests will find this partnership evident in our house-made shrubs, Bloody Mary mix, syrups, and garnishes in a program that includes cold brew cocktails, classic cocktails with contemporary twists, and five brews on tap.

From the kitchen, guests can expect a creative, re-imagined take on classic pub fare with influences from all over the world. We are proud to feature produce, meat, and cheeses from local purveyors, giving guests a fresh, locally derived experience with each dish.

Food was pretty much inedible. Duck and waffle appetizer was disgusting. Airline chicken was so overcooked and over-seasoned, she crab Mac and Cheese was awful. The crab tasted old and frozen, the Mac & cheese was extremely bland. The specialty cocktails were awful as well. The restaurant was very over-priced. We left hungry and had to go to somewhere else for dinner. There was a reason we easily obtained a reservation on a Friday evening. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Very stark, almost cafeteria -like atmosphere. With no art or anything on the walls, it’s deafening. And it wasn’t full when we went. Server took forever to approach the table and seemed to meander from table to table.

We REALLY wanted to like this place, it’s why we reserved a table. But the food was meh. My fried chicken was way over cooked, served on cold grits. My husband did enjoy the she crab pasta. Overall, too many good places to eat in Savannah...skip this one.

Most of the items on the brunch menu were unavailable. What was available was not my favorites. To be fair, they were overwhelmed by the public's response to their opening. Perhaps I will try dinner.
