Overall we had a good experience with a lovely round table for 7 upstairs. Service was attentive. It appeared like we could make some minor changes to our dishes e.g cheese instead of eggs - which we did but then were charged for sides of what we changed. It was eventually sorted. Food was good overall.

We love Brother Hubbard North but this time, it disappointed a little. Food - the 3 lamb arrived not even like warm. Potatoes with aioli were lovely as usual, the bacon excellent. The ricotta side dish to one of our other mains was tasteless. Service - empty water glasses of 4 customers were ignored. Americanos came in random sizes for the 2 rounds we ordered. Minor issues but it was not even that busy, but the staff acted a bit careless last Sun 1:30pm. Brought 3 friends and family there to make them fall in love with the place, and while they were enticed, it could have been better. Value for money - it’s not cheap so the value is just about alright. I still love the vibe of the place, it does feel European and not just a Dublin place. We will come back and hope for warmer food and more attention. Still one of the best brunch places around.

Food was delicious as usual. Service good. Only thing I would change is their queuing system. Walk ins and those with reservations all que together and we were not seated until 15 mins after our reservation time, though our table was reserved and ready for us. They were very busy and I’m not complaining, just suggesting that they could ask, “is there any one with a reservation ?” Otherwise as always pleasure to eat here and I would highly recommend.

My friend and I were tourists in Dunlin and received this recommendation from a local. It was exceptional! Food was delicious, healthy and original. The place was super busy but all service was timely and friendly. Highly recommend reserving a table online- avoids any line when you arrive. Loved it and will return!!!

The mezze was exceptionally flavourful , with generously shareable portions, especially given the presence of smaller bites alongside the main plates. However, the mini plates and one of the main plates fell short in terms of quality; the falafel and kofta were disappointingly dry and tough. On a positive note, the chicken supreme was delicious. Despite a small confusion with our main dish order, the customer service was very good. The staff promptly fixed the mistake and offered us complimentary drinks to compensate for the delay, which we greatly appreciated. The overall friendliness and warmth of the staff added to the positive dining experience.

Dined here on the weekend and every dish that we got came to the table cold. And having now scanned other recent reviews it seems like this is a recurring theme for this branch of Brother Hubbard. I don't know whether they've expanded beyond their means (it's an extremely large and busy restaurant) because this is not a problem I encountered dining here in previous years. It's a shame because the ingredients, etc are all clearly very good but there's obviously something fundamentally wrong with a restaurant that cannot deliver hot food to customers consistently. Would definitely think twice before booking here again.

Was looking forward to go to the famous Brother Hubbard for Brunch and must confess was very disappointed. Nothing wrong with the food but it was just so bland... nothing tasted exciting except for the brownie that maybe was just too strong for me. Honestly I won't go back.

We did the Mediterranean experience (we got one of each small and three different plates and shared the lot!) and shared a dessert. The food was stunning, honestly so so lovely and great value. The only complaint we had was that they ran out of lamb so we could try it. Absolutely stunning food and great service, we will be back.

I had an enjoyable birthday dinner at Brother Hubbard's but it was somewhat marred by the fact that they closed the kitchen at 8pm. We had a reservation for 7pm, a friend arrived late and asked to see a menu at 8.10pm and we were told the kitchen was closed. We were still eating our main courses and would have potentially liked to order another side or two. It wasn't an issue with needing the table as there were many empty tables and they allowed us to order drinks and dessert afterwards, it was just very odd for a Saturday night.
