   My wife and I have eaten at Brooklyn Trattoria probably several dozen times now over the past 2 years and I’m not sure how they do it, but it seems to be getting better and better. The ambience with great mood lighting and background music sets the stage for great food and drink. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would probably eat there several times a week.

   My boyfriend and I love this place. Food is always good. The employees are pleasant. We especially like the fact that there are a lot of young people working there, and they do their jobs well. The owner has come to our table on several occasions just to say hi. That NEVER happens to us at other restaurants.

   Overall we had a nice experience here. The service was a bit slow at first then really picked up the pace once we ordered. The food was pretty good but the sauces seemed too butter heavy for me. Our server was helpful and friendly.

   Trattoria restaurant offers some of the best steaks in the city along with Old World Italian food that includes the owners Grandma's Tomato Soup. YUM! There are also featured specials from time to time that offers a nice variety. Its a great place to treat your significant other to a night out on the town. Linn N.

   Dining with new friends. It did not disappoint. Dave, the owner, stopped by to greet us. This was a nice touch. He later brought by a new cocktail for us to sample, the red light. We all gave it a thumbs up, very tasty. All of the food items were very good. We enjoyed a booth because the sound level at some of the tables can be annoyingly loud.

   Brooklyn Trattoria has become one of our favorite go to’s. It is located nearby and the food, service, and ambiance is ALWAYS outstanding. Jemma is spectacular and always provides exceptional and personal service. Owner Dave ensures that everyone’s dining experience is superb!

    Absolutely loved the little extra of having roses at the table when we arrived. Service was fantastic and the menu recommendations were spot on. We really felt like part of the family when the owner Dave came around to check on us and we had a great conversation. Whatever you do, save room for the tiramisu.

    We were sitting at a small table for two. Not desirable because it felt like it was in an isle. Food was extremely good. Would come back but make sure we got a good table.

    I have to admit that my expectations were low for a strip mall Italian restaurant — but I was really surprised. Everything we ordered was excellent. Service was great. Maybe a little spendy but all in all well worth a visit

    Not just a place to eat - this is a full dining experience. The food and staff are amazing. The ambience is perfect. David the owner treats his staff well and knows how to run a great restaurant. I will be back! Try the pollo incendio is a incredible dish. Very unique, tasty and a generous portion.

    This is a little gem in the middle of a strip mall. The level of service we experienced was unexpected and it absolutely elevated this Italian restaurant to an exceptional status. Great food….the focaccia bread was delicious. Lasagna; excellent. Gnocchi with bolognese sauce; tasty. Try this place. It’s kinda like a “sure thing” or “slam dunk”.

    Their appetizer choices are kinda lame…two breads!?! Don’t get the bruschetta. Piled on onions and mushrooms. The texture was gross and reminded my wife of eating worms. We couldn’t finish it. The steak was good but not like in ordered it as rare + and the asparagus was under cooked. My wife got the lasagna and it was just okay. And, they ran out of carbonation for their Diet Coke. Not a place I would go back to. Bruschetta, Small medallion filet, asparagus and mashed potatoes, lasagna and cheese cake $120 including tip. No way it was worth that.

    New Year's Eve. Expect noisy patrons. Food (steak, salad, sides) was delicious and well prepared at a modest price compared to other venues. We did not have to wait for our table; prepared within minutes. The servers were polite and attentive, even considering the festivities. They provided thoughtful and efficient service to us, two elderly ladies. This is sometimes not the case in other dining venues. Love this restaurant, in my neighborhood.

    Our first visit. I enjoyed the chicken parm. The side of linguini was cooked just right. My spouse enjoyed the seafood linguini and loved the side of sauteed veggies. Happy to say there’s cannoli on the dessert menu.

    Excellent service, quiet atmosphere and delicious food! Husband and I celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time. I mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. I card was waiting for us at our table and the waiter surprised us with a candle lit chocolate mousse for our dessert. The special attention to our celebrations was appreciated.

    Waitress was rude, came by only to drop off the check and pick it up. The chicken I had gotten was really chewy and was not worth my money. Would not come again, nor recommend it.

    Upon returning to Portland after a 30 day road trip through California and back my wife and I returned to our favorite Italian restaurant in Bethany ..... It was like a homecoming with great food , wine, and service...... And there are always fabulous seasonal additions to the menu. The gracious and vivacious manager Gemma always makes the experience better… There was a wonderful festive ambience pre Christmas.

    Good environment and excellent service. It's always a nice touch when the owner greets you with a complimentary cocktail. This is a comfortable place to have dinner, but with a touch of class that isn't hoity toity, either. I might be biased by my grandmother's cooking but our food was good, not great, as the flavor profile seemed mild for Italian food. Also, the pricing seemed a bit much for gnocchi with bolognese sauce and spaghetti with meatballs, so I'm inclined to think we're paying a premium for ambiance and presumably local sources. But inflation is out there, too, and this isn't a hole-in-wall so I'm not going to make a big deal of it. Dining out is also an experience, so taking the whole package into consideration, we had a very nice time and enjoyed the food.
