The patio was a bit cold and our table wasn’t very clean nor did it have a table cloth. Service was slow as well. The food was great and we loved the chai and asaam teas. I recommend dining indoors which looked much better than the patio. Overall an okay experience.

We’re tea fans so went to High Low for my wife’s birthday. They had a very pleasant back area, decorated and laid out just great for sipping and munching the accompanying sandwiches. It’ll make you feel good.

Brought my mother in law and she loved it. We brought out 15-month old daughter too. And while I probably don’t recommend it if the place is full, the back yard was pretty quiet so she was able to wander around and be noisy and not disrupt anyone. The tea service is amazing. The food is lovely. To decor is so good. Highly recommend (in fact I’ve been three times already!)

This venue does service to the performance value of tea time. The space, inside and out, is utterly charming. The youthful service staff are delightful. The three tiers of goodies practically makes the table groan. So what if the sandwiches are a bit bland (except the Branston pickle and cheddar sandwich which is exquisite); the scones more like dry biscuits; the sweets uninspired (except for the chocolate mousse in a demi-tasse cup, which was the best I have ever tasted). So what if the otherwise attentive staff doesn't offer more hot water for the tea pot or keep careful watch over the milk pitcher. It's 70-90 minutes of much needed if rather pricey civility and graciousness. Definitely worth the calories. Probably worth the price.

We enjoyed a lovely High Tea at Brooklyn High Low! The staff were all attentive and friendly, the food was wonderful and more than enough (take home containers provided as well)! A lovely setting inside (haven't yet enjoyed their patio experience). Provided a nice selection of teas. All in all a totally wonderful experience! So excited and pleased to find a lovely "tea salon" here in Brooklyn. I sincerely recommend that everyone come to Brooklyn High Low for a delightful experience and an escape from the day to day!

Everything you want from an afternoon tea service. Even my British friend approved. Tetley tea is served alongside a classic array of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. It fills you up completely. (We got the basic service, I imagine anything larger will require a good long sit). The 75 minute time allotment was perfect. We probably could have stayed for 90, but did not feel rushed. Loved the ambiance. The place is adorable. Lovely service.

Overall it was good. Very cute tea room, excellent ambiance and food. It is a bit overpriced for time you get to stay. Maximum stay is 90 minutes for most expensive tea service choice.
It was very Warm welcome, but cold bye. No greetings on our way out or any appreciation for business.

It is always a pleasure visiting High Low. There was a party before our initial reservation and they wanted to make sure we weren't disturbed, so we adjusted our reservation for 30 min later and it worked out perfectly. It was no rush and we didn't have to wait when we arrived. Great service and ambiance. The food is great and the tea is always warm. A great establishment that I wish years of success. We will be back again.

Had a wonderful mother and daughter day out to celebrate my birthday. I was so excited for this and the service did not disappoint. We had the Vanderbilt and the selections were on the mark. My favorite part of the service was the scone and clotted cream with the house black tea and sweet treats. I loved the finger sandwiches and slaw as well- my favorite was the egg salad and the Brie / fig sandwich. Everything was perfect and divine.

A couple of tips: If you’re a British person tell the “tea tender” How strong you like your tea. Also the dress code is relaxed but you should take the opportunity to dress the part. So glad I did as there were beautifully dressed people that came through the doors the entire time and even a famous fashionista and her friend next to us. ☺️

The staff at Brooklyn High Low are incredible - very warm, accommodating, and friendly. We really enjoyed one of the teas - and they were so sweet and gave us a sample of it for free! They seem to really enjoy what they do and are absolutely fabulous! The ambience is perfect, the tea selection is INCREDIBLE, and the experience is one you'll never forget.
The only point of criticism would be that some of the desserts left a little more to be desired - and the consistency of the scones were SUPERB but they were not sweetened (a fact that my husband loved but I didn't enjoy as much).
Would definitely come back again and bring friends.

We were in Brooklyn celebrating our adult kids' birthdays, and the family is a big fan of afternoon tea. In fact, we're pretty much tea snobs. We've found that tea in the U.S., except for the stuffy places like The Plaza, can be hit or miss. Brooklyn High Low was definitely a hit. The tea selection was broad without being overwhelming. The food was fantastic. (We found ourselves taking notes for the next time we make afternoon tea at home.) But the real winner was the service. The servers were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Sure it was a bit pricey, but I've come to expect that in New York. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I came in for a day date. We loved our afternoon tea at Brooklyn High Low. The tea selection was ample and the setting was delightful. Lovely presentation of tea sandwiches and treats in a beautiful patio garden. We look forward to returning, and bringing friends with us. It would be a great spot to host an intimate event, too.

The decor is a highlight. Mismatched saucers, teacups and teapots served to people sitting in mismatched lounge chairs is a delight. High tea is always about treating yourself, so value is as you’d expect. Sandwiches were really good but tea, scones and dessert were not the best I’ve had.
