I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Such a great wine list and by far the best food in Brooklyn Heights. We were celebrating an engagement with friends and they made it very special for our whole group.
Nice quiet place for a meal; only complaint is that the sangria pour in the glass was not very generous for the amount of ice in the glass
Excellent brunch spot with great food and wonderful drinks
Great waitresses, really friendly service. Delicious food and rosé. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come again!
Delicious meals, wonderful innovative cocktails and such a welcoming staff. Always leave there with a smile on our face.
Very good food and service was a little late but they were still very responsive though kitchen was closing at. 4 pm
The food was very delicious and service was friendly and helpful. Waitress let us try the Sancerre before we committed to a half carafe. It was a lovely quiet Sunday brunch. Portions are on the smaller end. Either I was extremely hungry or the pork belly w/ potato latkes was a small portion but it was very yummy though. The chocolate cake slice we ordered was extremely small. SLIVER was an overstatement.
Great food. Great service.
We went for Mother's Day brunch. The staff was welcoming, professional, and the food was great! The Huevos Ranchero is what I had, and I highly recommend it! Oh, and our off-the-menu favorite keto alcohol drink: White Russian with coffee instead of Kahlua!
Our server was honestly the sweetest! I loved my bacon, egg & cheese doughnut with hot sauce, and my white peach bellini was hitting the spot too. Split the doughnut of the day (black & white) with a friend - so yummy and soft / fresh! They have space heaters for outdoor dining that really do a good job of keeping you warm. I would definitely return next time I’m in the area.
Exceptional wine list and great cocktails. Tiny but PERFECT menu, and I am so grateful they have remained open in the pandemic. Please visit them if you can.
Best Brunch!! Excellent Bloody Marie, LIVED the Avocado Shrimp toast. Waitstaff couldn’t be any better.
Great brunch menu. Great service
We arrived to find that they had given away our table. Our original reservation was for 1:30pm, but we changed it on the app to 2pm, which was confirmed by OpenTable. It seems that the restaurant staff doesn’t check OpenTable for updates during the day. Time to change this policy.
The food was not as good as our two previous visits. Seems to be different chef. Hopefully previous chef will be back on our next visit.
There was a mix up on our reservation but was quickly resolved and we were given a table in the window. I especially liked the overnight baked tomatoes on my gluten free pasta. Wine selection was excellent. Great location in Brooklyn heights,
Very pleasant spot-nothing extraordinary-all entrees were very good and wine selection was decent and reasonably priced
Quiet and lovely neighborhood go to. Understated with relatively small menu but everything is delicious. I had the burger which was cooked to perfection and those potatoes were to die for.
My husband had the avacodo BLT and said it was great. Great service as well.
Nice Place to have a Dinner.
Wines are lovely and the Service was nice
The food was very good and the service excellent. There were eventually 6 of us but two were delayed considerably and the staff never rushed us.
Loved the shrimp scampi and the fondue special. Sangria for happy hour was also great and our waiter was incredibly helpful and willing to give recommendations. I wish I remembered his name!
Great environment and the food was amazing.
Wonderful, casual neighborhood restaurant. Excellent wine menu.
Lunch for my wife was an outstanding beet salad and, for me, a very simple salad, just bibb lettuce and their homemade dressing consisting of olive oil and champagne vinegar plus we shared a baked brie appetizer .... everything was delicious !! Their wine list is huge with a number of very reasonable priced wines by the glass but they have only 2 beers tap. We will definitely return.
one of my fave neighborhood hangouts - good food, service and lovely ambience.
Another of those places that looks okay-ish at first acquaintance but delights you as the meal (lunch) progresses. This was a great example of the common thing done uncommonly well. Goats cheese salad and prawns with chorizo and garlic sound fairly generic. In fact they were marvellous. Top of the heap! Fantastic! The draft ale slaked a well earned thirst on a hot day and the merlot was a fine follow up.
The staff were very friendly and solicitous (good to meet a County Meath man in Brooklyn).
Great dinner with a small group of friends. Love this spot. Wine list to fit all tastes.
Delicious smoked salmon dish and shrimp with chorizo dish. Gracious service. Small, cozy restaurant. A few minute's walk from the Brooklyn Bridge. We walked to the restaurant from Manhattan.
Delish meal. Great service. Appreciated the wine recommendations and tasting.
Cute neighborhood gem. Great brunch menu. Excellent service.
Nice quaint place for a snowy date night. The staff was hospitable and welcoming. Many fine selections of wine from various regions, and the dinner was delicious. We look forward to returning soon!
I'm longtime patron and fan of Brooklyn Heights Wine Bar, and on a chilly Friday evening it did not disappoint. Our server was busy but was attentive when we needed; the food was just right, and the wine list, as always, was stellar. I love that their by-the glass options are also offered as a half-carafe, including the Medoc that was the special that night.
Cozy spot / friendly staff / creative menu. The execution on the specials we had was fair to midland, not as tasty as hoped, but charcuterie /cheese options are lovely and wines / drinks delicious as well. We'll be back.
Great Experience. Service food and the atmosphere was great.
We’re new to Brooklyn, so we’re trying out restaurants in the neighborhood. Brooklyn Heights Wine Bar is quaint little (many 10 tables and a bar) neighborhood spot. Delicious wines, yummy food, and overall good vibe!
A group of five of us went to this restaurant for dinner. It was a great setting for us to chat and socialize. Dinner was great and the wine was amazing!
Such a cute quant wine bar. Service was awesome! Bartender was awesome! Food was awesome! I’ll definitely be back!
For the second year in a row, booked a table with some writer friends after the Brooklyn Book Festival. Thanks Open Table for pointing it out to us. The food is excellent. Good cocktail, wine and beer list. Our waitress was friendly, fun and informative. Definitely a gem in the neighborhood.
I had Mac ‘n Cheese which was just right and my friend had the chicken- again very enjoyable. Wine was reasonably priced. The environment is warmer and more inviting than it looks in photo.
Arrived at opening on Sun 11A. Solid breakfast/brunch fare and wine/cocktails. Small space but it has become a true neighborhood gem and go-to venue re drinks/eats/get-togethers (for both locals and tourists).
