   Helen was our witness and was wonderful she told us what was good on the menu and we enjoyed it thx so much. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and she always wanted to go the food and ambiance was amazing thank you again Brooklyn chop house in Times Square

   We flew into NYC to celebrate my cousins birthday and the concierge at RIU Plaza Timed Square suggested Brooklyn Chop House Times Square and I am so glad he did. We enjoyed our visit and the house salad and shrimp fried rice was perfection.

   Service was top shelf from the time we entered until we left. Great staff ! We did not order from the steak side of the menu but rather shared three appetizers from the Asian side. They were all terrible, as if they had been cooked earlier in the day…. And they arrived at our table within 10 minutes of placing the order. The adjacent table did have appetizing looking meat orders. We were disappointed with our appetizers and decided to pay our bill and head early to our show. Staff are very attentive and great. Our food order, not so much. Sorry…. But that was our experience.

   While the food was good, service was poor. Made a reservation weeks ago and when i showed up on time I was shocked to hear from the hostess seating was on a 1st come first served basis. Was finally seated an hour later and served 30 minutes after that. I had to scarf my food down in order to make a Broadway show on time. This was not my first time there but will surely be my last time.

   We were there for an hour and still hadn’t even received our appetizer so we left. Terrible service

   The food was just ordinary. Most of the bottles of white, rose and rose Prosecco wine were not available and my friend and I refuse to spend $150 a bottle of mediocre wine. The beef satay was tough and inedible. The beef was hard to get it off the skewer. The shrimp fried rice was dry and we were not even offered soy sauce. The duck taco is ok but overpriced. I heard good things about this place. My visit was very disappointing.

   I reserved a reservation for me and my girlfriend for 9:30 PM 4/25… I made the reservation on April 24 so 24 hours in advance. I made a special request to sing happy birthday to my girlfriend upon arriving to the restaurant. Nobody knew who I was. It took 10 minutes for them to find my reservation, nobody said happy birthday to my girlfriend, and our waitress was rushing us the whole time.

    We have liked this restaurant in the past, but, this time, the food was cold when it arrived, we had to ask multiple times for sauces (hot mustard, chili oil), and, sadly, the food, overall, was just not as good as it had been in the past. Wonder if they got a new chef and/or management. Probably won't be going back - FAR too many GOOD dumpling and steak houses in the area.
