Great atmosphere food was great definitely will go back again environment calm and quiet
Literally everything we ordered was outstanding, good service, great drinks. We got 5 different dumplings, and the LSD, which was a combo of lobster, steak, Duck(we changed to chicken), onion rings and two types of fried rice to be shared by the table. The owner even came to our table to tel us about the restaurant and what to order. Nice friendly staff, will definitely be going back there
From the start, service was top notch! Every dish was fabulous
The service was subpar. Even the manager, who we had to call over more than once couldn’t get it right. He offered to buy us a round of drinks, which was nice, but he got that wrong as well. Brooklyn Cop House is an ala carte steakhouse, with a flair, but has the smallest tables so it was hard to set all the plates on it. Some other observations: the veal chop comes sliced but that isn’t mentioned on the menu. It seems as though the restaurant wants to be a family style place where everyone tastes each other’s meals. Again that is not advertised. One surprising mention: the staff put steak knives at everyone in the party’s setting. When they realized only one of us ordered steak they picked up the others and put them back in the serving tray not knowing if anyone had used them or not. Overall, not worth the money and definitely not worth the rating they get.
The appetizers were delicious and there wasn’t a bad one in our order.
The main courses were just ok.
I’ve eaten here before and the main course were fantastic so maybe it was just an off night
Everything was wonderful besides the size of the establishment everything was awesome i also got to meet the owner and his partner
Service was the worse- slow and unprofessional.
Steak arrived cold and it took 10 minutes for the waitress to check on us while we were trying to call her. She offered to reheat the steak! Why should we eat a reheated steak that your served cold from first place.
So we walk out eating only small appetizer with a barely apologies from the place.
Overall all was good however, we waited too long for drinks. Food was great. Ambiance was also great.
I had been wanting to try the food at Brooklyn Chop House for a while now. I live in Virginia but come to NYC quite often but never make it to Brooklyn Bridge. I have to say the food, the service and the hold vibe was even better than I expected. I was able to meet the manager Stratis Morfogen who was so pleasant and working as hard as his staff to make sure everything was running smoothly. I will definitely be back ❤️
Great food great service
We asked the waiter to describe crispy beef and he said it’s slices of beef deep fried. When we got it, it was beef coated with lots of flour deep fried and soaked in sweet sauce. We tried it but couldn’t eat it and told them that we did not like the dish but still had to pay $30 for that dish. They did not take it off the bill.
We also asked the waiter to describe Mayo prawns. The waiter described “sautéed prawns in honey”.
Waste of money. Never going back.
