We had a wonderful waiter and fabulous food.
Very good 👍
Don't like being charged for bread.
The staff got us seated. Very efficient and friendly.
Corner table outside. Great till one of the kids at the table next to us had a hissy fit. The mother did finally take the child outside. Quiet once again. Otherwise enjoyed air sea bass dinner.
It is one of my favorite places in Sandy Springs. Never had a bad experience!! My friends all love it and we go at least once or twice a month! Great Place!!
Brooklyn Cafe has been around the neighborhood for years and seems to always have a full house, so we thought we'd try it. The menu is fairly simple, with various American options. We tried the lobster bisque, fried green tomatoes, corned beef sandwich, and egg rolls. The fried "green" tomatoes were actually fresh red tomatoes, and weren't nearly as good as they should've been. The egg roles were soggy, and felt like they had been made a while ago. The other plates were actually pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. So, while there was nothing absolutely terrible here, there are so many other good options in the area we think its better to look elsewhere.
This is a neighborhood favorite. Food is outstanding, great wines at very reasonable prices and excellent service.
Great for early dinner after or before the theatre. A wide range of choices and reliably good. The ambiance is ok..definitely casual place.
Special thanks to Keith for waiting on us. As always, great time.
This is the third time dining at Brooklyn Café and first review. As as usual, the service, food, drinks, and ambience were Excellent!
Dinner was delicious bu waitress was harried and made many order mistakes
This restaurant was fantastic!!! Sam’s lamb chops and the Rueben are our favorites. The service is spot on and the food never disappoints when we go. The wine list is also one of the best in town.
Great food and service as always !
Food is good. Service is good. The Russian dressing on their Rueben is probably the worst that I have ever had in my life
Excellent wine list. Best burger in Atlanta. Great artichoke app too.
We like to celebrate special days here. It’s always fabulous.
We were celebrating a birthday. It was a lovely meal. It was a great way to celebrate a good friend’s birthday.
Wow, I really loves this place. Such an awesome vibe! Great staff, wonderful food, and a terrific value! My favorite in Sandy Springs!
My favorite place for lunch! Delicious meal and the wait staff is great...so friendly!!
The service was great and portions was good. Definitely going back there
Used to be so much better. I got a steak salad and the steak came out almost raw (I ordered medium) and there salad had way too much dressing on it. The fried tomato appetizers were too heavily batter fried. The fish tacos were good but the cold rice slaw was an odd pairing with them. Not great.
Service was slow and I had to wait 10 minutes to even get the waitress to come get my plate to send the raw steak back. She was very sweet about it and offered me something else and then a free dessert but it was too late so we politely declined both. Unfortunately we won’t be going back. Wanted to love it as I have been here many times in the past years ago and it was great. Maybe just a bad night but I didn’t love the menu.
Very popular place.
They handle crowds well/
Food is creative and excellent.
Service friendly and prompt
Good food and great service! We enjoyed it very much.
Jeff and Mike are an asset to the community. Improvements made have upped the dining experience. The food continues to be delicious. We had the best carrot cake ever!!! Their wait staff are charming and knowledgeable, especially Jayln. We are regulars for date night and this is a favorite for us to bring family and friends. Perfect for before/after entertainment at the Civic Center. Pat
Very loud. Many tables in are in area close to the kitchen where all of the servers are. Small menu.
The serving staff is oddly familiar. Touching you way too much.
Great service as always! Food was delicious ... everyone enjoyed it!
Delicious, excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. Would highly recommend the Crab Cakes as well as the Lobster Bisque. We definitely will go again. Sidebar, the young women that seated us was phenomenal.
Great food and great service. Love that the Brooklyn Cafe is within walking distance of the theater.
Service was honestly the BEST I’ve experienced in years! Greatly exceeding all expectations.
We enjoyed the crab cakes and the huge chocolate cake was good too.
Delicious food and attentive staff. My Cosmopolitan was too tart and more Grand Marnier was added. It was still too tart for me, but I drank it. I don’t like Cosmos that are too red or too sweet, but the bartender needs to revisit his recipe.
wish they could figure out how to reduce the noise of the customers - its hard to share a meal with conversation over everyone else's conversation
Go here frequently and usually get the same meal. However this time is flavorless and sent it back. Second go round was still lacking in the normal flavorful meal that I get.
I brought home the left overs but trashed them.
Very pricey for lunch, for soup and salad , but I knew it would be. Couldn’t go there every day, but it was a nice splurge and enjoyable meal.
We celebrated a dear girlfriend’s birthday and had a delightful time, delicious meal and a great waitress!
Consistently delicious. Some of the best crab cakes in the city (try the crab cake salad). More spacious with the recent renovations, but also more in demand- so make a reservation!
Great value on bottles of wine!
Food is always great. Service is consistent and customer friendly. a great place to dine or stop in for a glass of wine.
I feel like I am cheating on this because Brooklyn Cafe has been Steve’s and My favorite restaurant for many years. Jeff just has the magic formula and the consistency is what you can count on. Never have we had a disappointing meal at BC. In fact the specials are fantastic but the staples are carried over for a reason. They are the best. So many people we know feel the same way we do and count BC as their go to spot for the best food anywhere. Love the expansion. It was obviously needed. Carol Raeber
