Igor was fabulous! Robert was fabulous! Great place. A little pricey so we won't be able to come very often but the food was fantastic.

This restaurant is consistently delicious! It is a bit pricey but well worth it for a splurge meal! Personally I prefer this steakhouse to any other in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area. The service is prompt, professional and the manager always checks in to see how your meal is.

My husband loves this restaurant. We took my parents for Father's Day and the server took her time getting our drink and food order. We waited about 20 minutes before she asked if we wanted something besides water. She never asked if we wanted appetizers, which we did. She paid a lot of attention to other tables, and we basically felt we were being slighted. I am not for sure if it's because we had our 1 1/2 year old with us?
We sat at 6 pm...it was 740 and our food just just arrived. He had tickets to theater and could not eat there. They box the food and gave us 20%discount and 2 slices of cake. Not the service we usually get, this is the first time something like this happen. Little bit dissapointing
Courtyard was “new yorky” feel..very cool setup throughout the building..delicious meal (the scallops and corn risotto are top of the line). Friendly and inviting staff, portions were not large but that wasn’t a dealbreaker as the dishes were savory and we held a conversation about each bite. Excellent 4.9 out of 5
Service, ambiance and food was great. This was our first visit. The Ribeye was a little bland, but we will definitely be back to try again. And for us parents, the kids steak comes out pre-cut in bite size!!
Service was great, ambience was very nice, small plates very good. However, the quality of the ribeye was not what I would expect from a higher end type steakhouse. A lot of fat on the ribeye and it was a thin cut. Could be made better by a higher grade of beef. Also was loud in there. However, nice place overall… Would go back for the small plates and drinks.
Took my wife or for early B-day celebrations. Our waitress, Lauren I believe, was excellent. Food was a disappointment to me. Everything was FAR too salty from the salad to the filet. Once you got past all the salt, the filet was really good. The bourbon balls at the end were super though. Overall, I don't think the quality of our dinner justified the cost.

Anniversary dinner was overall very good. Scotch was as expected. Her tequila sunrise was improvised with no grenadine on hand and was ‘unique’ but passable. The wine by the drink selection was very limited but our selections were good. The only real disappointment was wife’s Brussels sprouts. She requested they be prepared very tender. They arrived barely cooked. She asked they be cooked longer and they were gone a long time but when they were reserved she still could not force a fork thru a sprout. She gave up. Steaks we excellent. My asparagus was fixed well and except for the sprouts a satisfying dinner. We enjoyed the surroundings and history. We will probably return.

Our service was excellent. My prime rib had too much fat however my husbands cut looked very nice. There were 3 small pieces of asparagus, mostly not tender. Baked potato was very good.
We went to Brooklyn and The Butcher for our one year wedding anniversary dinner after MANY MANY recommendations by both locals, Kentuckiana Foodies, and Yelpers alike! We were not disappointed. We ordered the Dry-aged Bone-In Strip with the Horseradish Crust and Maî·tre D' Butter, Mac and Cheese, the Oysters Rockefeller, the Brooklyn Wedge Salad, the Angus Ribeye (The Butcher Style), a loaded baked potato with asparagus, and topped it all off with the Margarita Creme Brûlée and the Brooklyn's Cheesecake with Caramel. We also really enjoyed the complimentary house made bread and butter. YUM. We went on Sunday night so were able to get a three course meal plus wine pairing for a VERY good price!
WOW. It was all so amazing and so delicious. Everything was very flavorful and cooked pretty good. The oysters may have had a little too much topping but we still very good. My steak (angus ribeye) was cooked perfectly at medium, my wife's Dry-aged Bone-in strip was extremely thick and had the bone, she had asked for it to be medium and it came rare. We let them know and they were extremely apologetic and were happy to correct it quickly, and they did!
The salad was great, the steak was great, potato was great, asparagus was great, cheesecake and creme brûlée was great. The service was top notch and we would definitely return!

First time,love the decor,the booths were spacious and comfortable. Lighting perfect, service was good, food was good, like the small plate options.Particularly the kale, apple,and butternut squash salad. Ribeye was perfect!
Husband took me out for my Birthday Dinner and we went on Thursday evening because that's Prime Rib night. We were not disappointed. The steaks were flavorful, the asparagus al dente, and the baked potato loaded with butter. He mentioned, offhandedly that it was my birthday, and they treated to us to bourbon balls. All around it was an excellent experience and I encourage everyone in the area to add Brooklyn and The Butcher to their list of "go to" restaurants.
Very slow service for a Wednesday night but we did have 10 people. Love their steaks.
Some friends and I went on a whim one Sunday evening. What of my friends got the three-course special they do on Sunday nights, whereas I got a few appetizers to use is my dinner.
The bartender was amazing, and our server was so attentive. We had a lovely experience, and we will definitely be back. Pro tip: get the tuna tartare, you won’t regret it.

This has been my 2nd time at Brooklyn and the Butcher. My first trip was a dinner club with about 10 of us present, it has been one our most raved about dinners and we plan return. This trip was a foursome for a friend's birthday (their 1st time); both times the experience was excellent! The server is a bit over the top with the "madam"s but completely on top of things without being intrusive. The appetizers (Crab Cakes and Korean BBQ) were absolutely delicious. As with our first experience our co-diners were gracious and we all got to taste a variety of items (salmon, filet, 30 day aged bone in rib eye, lobster mac & the special fish dish) all of which were amazing. The setting is an open space with a lot of character, since they have not fit every square inch with tables while it got a little loud we were able to converse with no problems. Highly recommend.

We like to try new places and don’t mind paying more then most places charge assuming the food is great. There are many other places I’d choose to go to before ever going back. I got the fillet and my husband got the ribeye. I had a bite I couldn’t even chew of my fillet my husbands ribeye was okay but not great. The building was nice. The server was nice but we were her only table and she didn’t come back to get our order after filling our water glasses for a good 10 minuets. For the price and quality of steaks I’d choose a chain restaurant over this one any day of the week.
We love Brooklyn and the Butcher. This food is wonderful and the people who work here are the very best. We have eaten here regularly for close to a year and they are always spot on. You will love this place.
The food was outstanding, My meal was the pork chops glazed with asparagus excellent! which was cooked very very well very tender everything was wonderful the service was wonderful I highly recommend it.
I am usually not a fan of restaurants that specialize in Steaks. Don’t get me wrong I love steak. Normally the prices are exorbitant and the quality is not worth premium. The prices here are definitely premium but I felt it was worth it. I had the 30 day dry aged ribeye and it was probably the best steak I have ever had. The wine, the sides and dessert were also great. I will go back.

Amazing steaks. If you go you have to try the 30 day dry aged ribeye! We started with muscles and oyster Rockefeller both were amazing. The savory sauce in the muscles I could have made a meal out of! The oysters were great. They were a little gritty but the taste was great. Also the alcohol prices were amazing. I had the 30 day dry aged ribeye, brustle sprouts and cauliflower grits. All amazing. We will definitely be back!!
Enjoyed the food and atmosphere as well as the history! Cool restaurant and bar area. Food and drinks were delicious. Can’t wait to try the new spring menu.
It was really nice. Took my wife for mother’s day. We were a little early so we had a cocktail in the Bar area, which was so cool. Both drinks were made to perfection. Dinner was awesome, petite & T-Bone were cooked just right. Wait staff are very tentative, no dirty plates or empty glasses left on table for very long . GREAT PLACE

We really loved the Mother’s Day brunch! Great food and a great time. We would love to come back but my with is vegetarian and there are few options on the regular menu. The brunch provided a number of great options for her!
Another great experience at B&B. Amazing upscale food, with a more approachable environment. Never fails to impress with the always changing menu. Always recommend any of the steaks. Will be back again and again and again.
