   The service was outstanding with our server very knowledgeable about the menu. The flavors of all the dishes were complex and complimentary across the board. The cocktails were a great addition to our dinner. The croquetas de pollo e manchego are a must try, the Portuguese sardine is the perfect combination of umami, salty, and sweet, and the octopus was inspired with a little bit of heat and great contrasts in texture.

   This place is great! We weren’t sure what to expect but saw the menu and it looked good. Food was delicious. We had the chorizo octopus sausage, asparagus, sardines, fish entree and lentil entree. Everything was good proportions. I really really liked my lentil dish it was perfection and made good leftovers as well! Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Will be coming back.    Our 1st starter of Cinco Jotas Jamon Iberico de Bellota, Picos Camperos tasted great but extremely meager for the price, $55, so that was a grave disappointment. Our 2nd starter, Portuguese Sardine, Toasted Baguette, Sofrito, Guindilla & Jamon ($16.50) was DIVINE. Our entrees of Sherry Braised Pork Shank, Iberico, Yukon Gold Potato, Chimichurri ($38) was fabulous; 28 Day Aged Ribeye, Horseradish Cre`me Frai^che, Shallot, Demi-Glace ($68) was very tender: Overnight Day Boat Scallops , Carrot Nduja, Parsnip Emulsion, Peanut, Kumquat ($40) was well seasoned and nicely presented but only 1 large and 2 smaller Scallops so the portion was again, too small. We shared one dessert of Basque Cheesecake, Berry Jam ($12) and that was excellent. The restaurant also gave each of us one La Estepena Polvoro'n de Almendra to celebrate our anniversary with a candle which was a nice gesture.

    Spanish and Catalonian food are not on every street corner, so to have a place like Broma to go and enjoy it is noteworthy. However, having been to and dined in Barcelona and other Spanish and Catalonian restaurants in the Bay Area, while Broma is solid, for the price point, it did not leave an indelible impression. The service was great and very attentive but the food was solid but will be soon forgotten. Of the six small plates we ordered, the Hamachi crudo was the standout. Cascal, also in Mountain View, feels like a better value and experience alike.

    The service was excellent. Our waiter was so passionate about the food and I could tell everyone working enjoyed being at work. Great service, great food, a little more pricey than I thought was necessary (but I’m from out of town so who knows what’s happening with inflation).

    Broma surprised us by being in a hotel with a cozy ambiance and excellent service and food! We started with a smoky mezcal mole cocktail- delicious. We ordered the bacalao fritters, patatas bravas, hamachi crudo and then the scallops and vegetarian main courses. All were amaaaaazing and the attentive service added to our dining pleasure:)

    We mentioned to the waiter that one of us was having birthday celebration and showed him the passport. Disappointingly, the restaurant did not show any generosity here and pretended no knowing it throughout the dinner, even a small cake

    Every month, my gf and I meet my friend and his wife for a double-date. It's become kind of a fun competition to see who picks the better restaurant. This past Saturday, my gf and I picked Broma Restaurant, and honestly I feel bad the other couple have to pick next because it's going to be very hard to top our experience we had here! It was kind of chilly when we got there but luckily we were seated next to the fireplace which was perfect. There was a lively birthday party happening at the outdoor bar area, but we were seated in the dining area and there wasn't any noise from the party disrupting us. Service is incredible - very helpful staff who have expert knowledge of their dishes and have amazing recommendations based on what your preferences are. They made sure to make note of any allergies and ensured whatever we ordered would have those items removed. The waitstaff's timing was impeccable - they always seemed to show up during a break in our conversation and never interrupted us, and also replaced our plates and utensils after every dish. The food itself is incredible. All of our starters were great but I think the dish that stood out the most was the Steak Tartare - it comes with foie gras butter and caviar served with fried plantain chips to dip. Honestly I could have just ordered 4 plates of this for the night. I can't get enough of it. Broma's options for entrees makes it hard to settle for one option - everything sounds amazing, and if you've seen the photos online, you know the presentation is aesthetically pleasing as well. I decided on the 28 Day Dry Aged Ribeye. Ordered it Medium-Rare and it came Medium-Rare. I don't have the most advanced pallete in the world and I'm certainly not a renowned wordsmith, so let me just say that was a certified Damn Good Steak™. TL;DR: Great place to entertain friends and family or celebrate a special event or even just a romantic couples dinner!

    The food is delicious but unfortunately the menu doesn’t make any sense. Entrees like a ribeye steak or a whole fish are served a la carte with no side options. They pointed us towards the tapas but that was only olives, salad and asparagus. When we asked about any potatoes or rice, it was a big production with the waiter despite him saying that “many people ask about sides.” First he said they didn’t have potatoes. I showed him potatoes on the pork dish. Finally he agreed to ask the kitchen for potatoes on the side to go with our steak and fish. The food was delicious but no one in our large group would go back. It was just too much drama to get side options to go with a meat.

    We ordered the patatas and croquetas manchego. They were so tasty. The patatas have this green sauce that is on the spicy side but you just can’t have enough of it! The presentation of all plates was so cool and sophisticated. The service was excellent. The place is cozy and modern.

    We had the prix fix Broma Experience. Everything was spectacular. A wade variety of appetizer bites, jamon like we had in Barcelona, olives, cheese nuts. Entrees included a rib eye steak and white fish that were both seasoned perfectly. We ordered the wine pairing that included 5 types of Spanish wines and a desert sherry. Dessert had three different selections. The portion sizes were appropriately small given the number of dishes included. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. I wash surprised that the place wasn’t jammed. Also, excellent bar. Highly, highly recommended.
